  • Detox Your Liver with These 2 Qigong Exercises (10-Minute Qigong Exercise for Liver Detox)
    This exercise demonstration is a basic explanation of the part the Liver plays in our overall health based on the principles of Qigong.
    In Qigong theory, the liver's main task is to spread and regulate Qi throughout the entire body. It is also responsible for storing blood while one is at rest. Because of this characteristic, and its control over the lower abdomen, make it a critical organ in regards to women's menstrual cycle and sexuality. Moreover it can lead to disorders such as menstrual irregularities, swollen and painful breasts.
    In men, it results in constant anger, insecurity etc. Common to both, is a swollen feeling in the chest and abdomen that, if not addressed, could lead to disharmony between the Liver and the Stomach and/or Spleen.
    Additionally, NOT taking care of your legs from sports injuries, broken bones etc. can eventually lead to issues related to the liver and the other organ meridians located within the legs.
    The effect of anger, stress, physical/mental abuse and other emotional issues also play a major part in causing illnesses because those emotions will be stored in the liver and in time, eventually affect other parts of the body.
    Before engaging in any exercise program, please check with your primary health provider.

    Very nice video. There are foods (organic being best as pesticides/herbicides are toxic to the liver) NAC, alpha lipoid acid, thisilyn etc. all support the most important endogenous (made in the liver) chemical, glutathione. These Qigong exercises are quite beneficial as well. Thank you

      Additionally, please view the video for abdominal health. Those exercises will help you with the liver and the other organs in that area. The Pelvic Floor muscle exercise is imperative for you to work.

    Thank you. How many times fo you recommend to do the 1st movement, the stretch?
    I just got my gallbladder removed and I am feeling more angry and irritable than usual! I am going to focus on gently supporting my liver in the hope that it improves.

      Massage your torso sides and outer legs following the gallbladder meridian. Because your gallbladder has been removed, keep in mind that the gallbladder meridians are trying to compensate. This could be including the liver. See a Chinese med. doctor.

    Can you still do this if someone doesn't have a gallbladder?

    • @QigongofTulsa
      @QigongofTulsa  Рік тому +5

      Absolutely!!! In fact, it is imperative that if you don't have your gallbladder, the gallbladder Meridians should be cleared and maintained because they're still trying to function. Blocked meridians will cause pain along their paths.
