I try to jiggle my lower abdomen for bad gas.
Going for a stroll is a great way to ease gas before it gets painful.

"Urban Moonshine Original Digestive Bitters for Gas, Bloating & Occasional Indigestion", always helps me when having painful gas.
For constipation, yes deep belly breathing, yoga, especially twists from the waist which can be done seated on the floor, or chair if you're able to twist at the waist, with knees pointed forward, and if new to this, SLOWLY work towards bringing arms and hands to grab the backrest.
Also, I heat up 2 cups of hot water and add a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice and Apple Cider vinegar. This works when I need help with regularity. What helps me the most though is consistently. Everyday doing some form of exercise, drinking plenty of water, and eating fruits and veggies daily.

I just watched the video posted a year on what happened to Bob. I don't usually leave comments on UA-cam but I really like to send a word of encouragement to Bob, and Brad yourself too. You had been holding the fort most times than not, it's definitely not easy. Credit has to be given to you too. I started following more of your videos when I was diagnosed with a neuro issue as well. I had a benign tumour in my nerves, and that was found out in the first 6 months of covid. I had many other symptoms along too, including balancing myself down the stairs and IBS symptoms. I was so weak that I couldn't even sit upright. I was only 39 then. Fast forward 3 years, now I'm pretty much back to my normal active self. And I credit my recovery partly to your videos. Sorry for the long message - I wish you well Bob, and please stay positive. Sending u some love and hugs from Singapore. ❤
PS: to the rest of viewers who claim they want more of Bob and less of Mike, supporting Mike and this channel is supporting Bob directly. That will be best support for him, and Brad.

This is a great comment. Glad that you’re feeling better! I appreciate you sharing. I had a car accident a couple of years ago that changed my life in so many ways. Some days I wonder if my life will go back to normal but I try to remind myself that everyday is a gift and if I can do all that I can to make it the best day.
I also agree with your comment about supporting Mike. This is a team and we should remember that things change and we are all doing the best we can. All three guys are here to support us and help us care for ourselves.

We do feel short changed when Bob and Brad doesn't have Bob, False advertising. Will we ever get Bob back? Even worse when Brad isn't here either. We tend to grow attached to the best on the internet. Perhaps an opening with an introduction to Mike would smooth the jolting feeling I experience when the show isn't as advertised. Sending good wishes for Bob, and prayers for recovery with wishes for his return. P.S. who is Mike?

One I found very helpful is laying face down with fists under your abdomen, elbows out to the sides, then lift one leg up and then the other. The pressure of your fists pressing into the abdomen while leg lifting seems to prompt movement.
    It’s actually a yoga adaptation.

Thanks for this, team! You really do it all for us, and we appreciate you so much! The warm water advice is GREAT. The warmth encourages relaxation, which can be difficult when one is experiencing the discomfort that goes along with these GI issues. It also, of course, hydrates. How often do we hear that most of us don't drink enough water? I know I have a tendency to forget to drink as much water as I should... Oh, and any techniques that are Bob-approved are golden, in my book! Hi, Bob. 😊

Great tips! Also, try acupressure. A good one to do lying on your back: area is about 3 finger widths below belly button. Press in gradually, but no more than 1 inch. Stimulate for 30 seconds. Probiotics & hydration are a must, too!

A few of these I do on a regular basis, but will have to try a couple of the others. I'll also have to try the warm water first! I am learning that the relaxing and deep breathing makes a bigger difference than I thought it would. I would ad thh cat/camel poses to this list back and forth I find helpful. Also, I will stick a couple pillows under me while doing child's pose so I can really relax into it, hang out for a while, and deep breathe. I do this especially in morning if my bowels aren't "waking up."

    - psyllium husk ("metamucil", follow instructions to the letter)
    - a magnesium supplement 3 hours before you hope to poop (the excess magnesium in the colon causes it to take in more water)
    - chicory root drink half an hour before you hope to poop (delicious warm drink which stimulates movement in the colon because it has inulin)
    - daily, regardless of poop status, drink enough water that your pee is the colour of pale straw
If this constipation is sudden onset and doesn't clear up in 48 hours, go straight to doctor
Psyllium husk is the only one that helps both constipation and diarrhea

May I suggest Bob and Brad for the last technique ( that one actually helps me a lot) is to add sound making deep "mmmmm" sound, like a Buddhist "ommmmm", while sitting on toilet legs a bit apart, tilted upper body towards front a lil, and arched lower back, similar to what u did with that posle, except arms aren't up, but sitting on your hips and maybe even pushing a lil bit on the hips/thighs. Try and see if that works.
P.S. One more thing works for me weirdly is pooping while standing, for some reason it gets out quicker than when I'm sitting
