A rinse with hydrogen peroxide immediately before an antifungal shampoo helped our dog a lot. Don’t forget the conditioner.

I think we need a little more clarification as to where to apply this cream. Ears, anywhere on skin, face, feet/between toes, etc. Everywhere they lick/itch? Dogs lick their body parts - is it ok to apply in areas where it will more than likely be licked off? Applying before going to bed makes sense to me, but that first application of the day is going to end up in the dog’s tummy.

The cream really helps with my dog which has CAD. It makes the itchy less often. And after 14 days, I shall stop the cream. Meanwhile I’m giving her skin and coat , anti-allergy supplement too. I used to use apoquel , it worked so well but I’m so afraid of the side effects. so I stopped using it and I found this amazing vet. Of course natural or less harmful treatment takes longer time to see result. But I’m glad to see small improvement everyday.
Hello, Did you use it for your in between your dogs paws and ears? Also did you replace Apoquel with something else I’m looking for an alternative for my dog😢

I use this on our yeasty dog. He wares a medical coat as well as his bald on his tummy. This cream has completely healed his sore patches super quickly. The vet gave us many chemicals to use in lockdown, but as he had recently gone blind, after many tests, we decided we didn't want to bombard his immune system which is already weakened. Olive oil to keep his skin hydrated. He has flare ups but not many. Took out all carbs from his food too.
have you tried coconut oil on skin? worked well on my little bald dog ( a poodle whose hair all fell out …)- his skin was so dried out and getting little scabs from itching and dryness and it all went away with coconut oil( mixed with vit e oil ).. skin pink and supple … still bald … sigh… cushings disease ( for which he is taking vetoryl with no change )…
🌟🐶…. Yes, used in ears, BUT can it be applied to the feet / legs where dogs lick and chew on their paws? ⚠️ Is Clotrimazole harmful internally if ingested from the dog licking itchy area where cream is applied❓

Also, on ear infection cause my pity always gets air infection get Clotrimazole Cream which is Vaginal cream for women!!! crazy right my dog does not have ear infections anymore and I’ve saved $400 to $500 each vet visit

I use cetirizine for systemic itching, selsun blue didn't work, Apoquel too expensive for long term use. Thank you Sweetie Grandma loves ya.
Was this in the form of tablets? How often?

Also, when I bathe her, he recommended raw apple cider vinegar with green tea and we all have that at home or you can buy oatmeal shampoo that relieves the itching the smell I have saved so much money on the vet cost
Thanks for the info doc. Apoquel worked but expensive so stopped it. Our dog seems to be bad in winter but he was great the other seasons this year. Will try the cream!!
Yes Apoquel was expensive . It worked but I was worried about the side affects . Going to try the cream and peroxide from now on .

Usually a thin layer. Follow tube instructions for topical application.
We have a large breed dog and she has allergies. She suffers the most with yeast build up in her ears. We have eliminated most of not all of the grains and she takes benadryl twice a day. This has helped a little but it's still not enough. Do you have any recommendations?

My dog has severe grass allergy. Allergy meds help with itch but nothing helps his terrible cough he has for 9 months out of the year. He is even on an inhaler. Any ideas. I have seen so many doctors. So frustrating
Can this be applied near the mouth area, the area is red and she’s itchy constantly, took her to the vet, got some shots, worked for a few months, but she’s back again.

doc,you need to answer our question regarding the cream you are saying to use. my dog licks her feet, legs groin area, and if it’s ingested is it harmful, I cannot keep one of those cones on her continuously
he answered someone else below he said no harm if they lick it, id distract them for a while till it sinks in their skin and dries up a bit .

Just take precautions, that drug affects/weakens the immune system. I had our German shepherd on it for a short time until I learned that 🙏

It may be harmful, and best to 1st try the alternative remedies, BUT if nothing else is working, then I see its benefits
