I run a small animal sanctuary and most of our animals are older and have suffered with many untreated diseases, infections, and allergies for years before coming to live with us. Your information has helped me TREMENDOUSLY and I tell everyone I can about your channel. Thank you so much for saving us literally thousands of dollars in treatment for our 17 dogs and 7 cats!!!
I went to the dollar tree store and bought a athlets foot antifungal cream for $1.25 and used that twice a day for 5 days and ear infection was cured.
Same it s.brillant
You put it down into your dogs ear??
How much do you put in each ear and do you mix it with water?
This same vet has a video on using clotrimazole cream, I also found it at dollar tree after watching his other video.
Thanks
Used green tea and apple cider vinegar in my dog's ears, earlier it used to smell a lot and shake his head flapping ears, but now he has stopped doing it, and smell has disappeared. Thanks for your advice
Sounds great!
Me too would see my dog shake his head when he would bark and would scratch I decided to use the green tea and apple cider vinegar for 7days straight twice a day and I see no more shaking or scratching thank u ❤
My dog won't even let me touch his ears. He shows his beautiful teeth.
Why doesn't your dog trust you?
@@zoeberry33it's very common for dogs not to like their ears to be touched
😂
Same with my 110# Lab-rottie. I have to Muzzle her and leash her to a strong post.
@@zoeberry33 Don't know he is 2 years old and never let him touch any of the things. I can;t even brush his teeth.
I woke up last night at 11pm because of the sound of my dog shaking his head. He was shaking his head constantly non-stop. First time it happens to him. His left ear was red and hot, and the smell was kind of sweet. Immediately, I came to this channel....the only one I trust!!...I prepared the green tea with apple cider vinegar. I started to clean his ear, and I used 15 or more cotton swabs. First time I saw something like this. After I cleaned it, I applied the mix of green tea and ACV. Today, when I went to apply the second dose, I noticed cleaner, but still red. Now, I applied it for third time. I cleaned it first, and surprise...Nothing came out!!...Our dog has been all day without shaking his head. I said this is a miracle cure!!...I will do 5 days, and for the healthy ear, I will do it only 2 days. I think as a preventive measure, I will do the other ear because when they scratch, the infection can go from one ear to another.....Thanks and blessings to you!!
What is acv??
@@Twinchi_hotsauceApple Cider Vinegar I Believe
What could be the black stuff in my dogs ears, please? It's also on all 4 paws. I'm guessing that the paws got it from itching her ears. I've tried various tropicals. Coconut oil has helped, ACV is pretty good. Could this black stuff be lice? Thank you.
I don't know what I would do without this guy
Me too! I wish I knew about him years ago
Thanks for the clear and simple truth. I'm sick of taking my dog to the vet and not being hurd. Upsold for tests and vaccines that are unnecessary, medication's that don't work and just plain bad advice. Back office staff I don't trust to had my dog to. How do I know what they're doing or not doing to my dog. Rude judgemental front office staff. I'm so sick of it all. ❤️✌️
Note to someone who asked me -- it is NOT a syringe with needle, of COURSE! What he is using is like an eyedropper.
I think we need a new word for not needled syringes...
Thank you so much! I live in rural India and care for 3 doggies in our ashram. Yeast infections are recurring. Last week all that I had was some cow mastitis pencillin cream to use out of desperation as the Canestan cream sermed not to br working. This OTC combo is golden knowledge. You are great for sharing all of your knowledge that enables all to give their beloved pets first class and affordable medical care. It is also empowering and educational for us all. Bless you!💛🌻
You pups maybe allergic to something you are feeding.
@@sharieblossom yes. Could it be Pedigree kibble I wonder?
@@omtatsat2011 yes unfortunately kibble like Pedigree and really all kibble can be the cause of yeast infections. But I understand your options are limited since you are in rural India. You can always try to supplement with fresh foods (meats, organs, raw meaty bones) you don't have to switch them completely to raw food but adding it as an additional food may help with their yeast infections (i am not a vet professional, I am only a dog guardian who is obsessed with dog nutrition)
These home remedies for ear infections have really helped our 5 year old cocker spaniel! You are our go-to for anything going on with our pets! Thank you so much! ❤
Hi, I have a 5 year old cocker spaniel too. She’s been showing signs of ear infection for the last 2 days. Which remedy do you think worked the best for your baby? Wishing your doggie a speedy recovery. Thanks.
Number 3 OTC combination :
Clotrimazole 1% - 1 Teaspoon
Hydrocortizone 1% - 1 Teaspoon
Polysporin which has Polymixin & Gramicidin - 1 Teaspoon
Mix well & apply once a day in infected ear. I am writing this as a note to apply this for Summer’s ear- we tried the Apple Cider Vinegar but it did not help, the earmites got more. So hoping this helps. In this economy can’t go to vet again. I went to Vet & they gave me Animax- a prescribed medicine- even that didn’t help with the earmites, I clean her ear everyday, it is only her left ear. Hoping this one does the trick! Thanks doc!! dog bless
Thanks! 😊
@@VeterinarySecrets doc a month later update, I followed this regiment, applied few times a week (not everyday as she is sensetive) & guess what? 🫣 IT worked!! 80 percent of the brownish ear mites are gone ☺👏🏼 her left ear is turning as clean & pink as her right (non infected ear) thanks a TON doc you saved me probably $200-300 on tests and mostly you saved time. 💕❤ wish you a blessed week
Tip 3 worked really quickly. Two days and my sweet girl’s ear looking much better
The last recommendation with the over the counter stuff is gold. I put all the ingredients in a bag and mix them thoroughly then put it into syringes with 4ml-5ml each and it makes about 12 which is enough to treat for six days twice a day. It makes it so easy to just squirt it in. I don’t shove it down the canal I just get it in the ear and squish it around like he recommends.
HELP !!!!!
Greetings from Florida !
What a blessing it is to have found you and I’m speaking not only for myself but for my 2 sweet dogs but also for a dog I just rescued from the streets in my neighborhood and she was starving to death and left out in 110 degree heat for at least a week that I know of. It took several days to earn her trust just to accept food even though she was starving. She’s finally coming into a safe room where it’s cool but scratches at her ears. She won’t allow a collar to be put on so I’m just trying to feed her and maybe do something for her ears.
Omg! You are truly a God send!!! My pit Bull had an ear infection with that yeast odor … I used the home remedy and after a week… she is finally sleeping through the night without shaking her head and there is no more odor or redness! Thank you so so much and Tru thanks you too❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Which of the 3 remedies did you use?
Yes which one did you try or yes
Did it take a full week for you to notice any difference at all?

Love all your advice Dr Jones, I will try your recipe for my dog's inflamed toes
Thanks for the video! Very helpful information. Trying to sign up for the webinar; however, the link is not working.
Dr. Jones, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. I made the OTC cream remedy and applied it to my furbaby's ear around 11:45 this morning. So far, she has not pawed at that ear, nor has she had a bout of head-shaking. With only one application of the cream, she has been given a measure of relief. I am so grateful for your videos ❤
Hey mind telling me what all cremes you ended up using ... Did you use the same amounts mentioned in the concoction....
@@gblackbaby4970 Recipe: 1 tsp. Canesten (Clotrimazole), 1 tsp. Gold Bond 1% Hydrocortisone, 1 tsp. Polysporin. Mix well. Cover and store. Place 1/4 tsp to base of ear. Massage well (to hear squishy sound.). Apply 2x a day AM/PM, for 10 days.
Thank you for your information - one day into the third option with the OTC combination remedy and am already seeing a decline in inflammation. Will continue the process and monitor how things go.
I'd say my shar pei and myself said thanks so so very much from the top bottom inside and out of our hearts❤❤❤❤.. This has been gong on nonstop for awhile treat gets better then back again. I've used all your treatments and I'm truly amazed at all of them and my goodness the money I could have saved thanks so much. You're remarkable 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️

Woild love for you to do a video on blastomycosis in dogs and cats. It has been more than usually active this year. Would be interested in your thoughts and perhaps a holistic approach along with the usual care. 5:39 5:39 5:39

Just cost me 150$ CDN for a swab test and medication at the vet. I'm definitely going to try this. If it works it will save me so much money over time. My 110 lb berner always has ear infections.
I’m going to try!
Thank you sooooo much !some of us can’t afford to keep going to vet and you help us care for them at home so they won’t suffer
You give great remedies for things to put in the ear to treat yeast. How often would you then clean the ear when using one of these remedies and what would you use?
I didn’t wanna take my dogs to the vets because of the new respiratory disease so now they have ear infections and I was keeping them very clean, but no cure. I’m grateful to find this video. I just came back from the store with all the ingredients and applied the medicine. They are now calm and not flapping their ears. Maybe we can all get some sleep tonight? I am very anxious to see how they do by tomorrow. Thank you for sharing these workable home remedies which I can use in the mean time. Who knows, maybe they won’t need to go to the vet at all.
We are in the same boat. About to try this myself. Keep us posted! Hope the pups feel better ❤
@@R.S.546 Thank you.
Hi how did it go? Is it working?Did you use apple cider?
Is it working? Did you use apple cider vinegar?
Hi Doctor .Could you please discuss Distemper and diseases from ticks please ❤
Where I live in upstate NY, off hours is now a trip South or North to an animal hospital. No matter the reason, you will be guaranteed a minimal bill of at least $200. So THANK YOU!❤for helping my boy Sammy, a 6yr old Plott Hound and now I can use money saved to keep buying his fav food, fresh beef.
Very interesting!
Thank you Doctor what a God sent I've spent so much money on the vet with reoccurring ear infections and there simply not working.
Thank you so much for these remedies ! Locally there is a veterinary shortage or just too many pets
for them to handle so it takes 3 weeks to get in for a visit, if you can find a vet taking on new
clients at all.
Love you!
Thank You !!!!!
Thank doctor
Very informational I just wish he would do a storefront or links 🔗 to the exact brands he recommends
My dog has been scratching his ears ans i decided to you tube this and watch your Vids - Went across the road to my local Chemist and grabbed some Canesten cream and almost instantly he stopped the head shaking and ear scratching. I will keep the cleaning and treatment up for ten days but his immediate response was astounding. Thanks and i have send some friends your vid and link
So thankful for your recipe of vinegar, caneston, and hydoxychloro... Our pittie had thick and sore ears for years. I started by wiping twice daily (oh, she hated it) for 3 days, then once a day for a week or so, now just on weekends :) She's so much better now and doesn't run and hide when she hears the word 'ear'! Thank you Dr. Andrew!
Can this also be good for cats as well? You're the Best! Thank you so much❤😊
TY Doctor
I actually tried the Canesten my mini Morky she has had this problem for 3 years this is only thing that has helped! Thank you so much ❤️love your videos

Great videos !! What if your cat has ear mites ? What helps with them . Hope u can help thanks
hello! do you have a link for the witch hazel used? Thank you so much!
Well, that is a great dog to take and tolerate all this demonstration!
Thanks Dr. You are the best!
My little dog seems to get these ear issues twice a year. This is most helpful.
My 5 lb Papillon had warmth w redness on her left ear. I studied your video; did the smell test, noting the
sweet, slight foul odor. I made your green tea ACV combination, then gave 2 drops directly into the ear canal; massaged lightly. The following morning 90% of the redness was gone. I will continue to apply. Thank you.
Our sweet little long hair chihuahua gets ear infections a lot. He gets wobbly and its terrible. May try some of these. He gets snotty and stuffy a lot too and i hate to give him benadryl so much but I'm not sure what else to do. I think he inherited his allergies from me. Runs in the family.
Dr Andrew, Thank you for these great tips. I clicked the link to sign up for your free webinar and the link isn’t working. It says , “ This webpage is not available “??

Love all this info. Going to start green tea today. My dog won’t stay still real challenge
Hi, can you share results and how your dog is doing
Wow thank you for this video and helpful remedies. My little Yorkie girl woke up on Wednesday this week with a painful ear infection. Implemented remedy one and 3 that day. It is now Friday morning and her ear is 80 percent better.
Simple low cost solutions to her ear infection. I am so thankful not to have to wait a week or more to get into the vet why she suffered. 😊
Which of these 3 remedies did you use, please inform us. Thank you
