So fun to watch as I am Hungarian background. Those plum dumplings (silvas gomboc) are one of my favorite dishes ever! I'd eat them breakfast, lunch, supper, dessert, snack, anytime my mom would make them. I also love the stacked potato (rakott krumpli) dish. And yes paprika, garlic and sour cream is Hungarian goodness! And now I'm craving all those dishes!
Oh my gosh my mum has been cooking the sliced potato, egg & sausage dish for my whole life and I did not know it was Hungarian! I thought she'd made it up!
I love watching your videos. I can't travel the way I used to when I was younger, so I get to vicariously enjoy seeing new places through the lens of your camera. Thank you for posting these great videos!
rakott krumpli..still my favorite dish to eat...i walked 2 miles this past sunday in a -30 degree blizzard to pick up the sausages at the deli lol..i use it for my scrambled eggs as well:) Szilvas gomboc was my favourite 'dessert', though some people consider it a meal more than a dessert...i have yet to try to make it.
Hi from Ontario, Canada! Love your videos, and my husband and I and 2 teens "travel" vicariously through them! My husband is from England, and loves reminders of many trips back 'home'. I am 1/2 German, and love the Germany visits... I've only been once, but such wonderful memories! Your dress in this is so pretty, Allison-- my daughter loves it. Looking forward to seeing your RV adventures! Stay safe and well ☺️ --Kristina
I've taken to watching your food vlogs while eating dinner. If I watch them any other time, they make me too hungry! Those dumplings looked sooo delicious.
Omg... Very nice video. I am Hungarian I grew up on these foods, its totally normal for me. But the way how this video was made i felt that this is the first time that I seen these dishes :D
I love the travel vlogs you guys do. You're always really enthuiastic about the places you visit. You also have a very open attitude towards experiencing new cultures. It's great to see. Thanks for the great content :)
So glad you're enjoying the adventures, and thank you for the kind note :) Traveling has definitely been one of the most delicious and eye-opening experiences we've ever made ❤️
gee that plum treat looked great...I wonder if it would work with "whack on the counter" dough...Eric what did you do to your noggin? Looks like you took a bonk to the forehead...be careful! Also I loved that long, distressed wood aqua table...rustic and lovely...safe travels and happy eating!
Yummmm fooood. I grew up eating the rakot krumpli and the gomboc (plum dumpling), although never had the gomboc with a sauce before. You should try terpertyu if you can find it. It's not the healthiest thing but tastes good if your in the mood for some fried bacon. I probably spelled it wrong though lol. It's really thick cuts of bacon that is fried until slightly crispy and then sprinkled with salt. Another good bacon one is where they marinade or inject thick slab of cured bacon with garlic oil or garlic water (not sure which,) and then coat the outside with paprika powder. I can't remember the name of it, but it's good! Lol. If you go into a local deli they might have it, just look for the big chunk of paprika covered bacon . Lol.
Csak annyit hozzá hogy az igazi rakott krumplit fém sütőtálban kell sütni, akkor jo ha a tetje aranybarna az aljára rakott első sor krumpli pedig már ropogosra sült. Üvegtálban csak összefő.
Yes, sorry for the delay! The dish is called rakott krumpli and you add a layer of oil, then boiled potatoes (make sure they're boiled first!), then your favorite smoked sausage, sour cream and finally salt. Repeat until you fill your baking dish - but make sure you end with the sour cream on top so it stays nice and juicy! Also, feel free to replace the meat with veggies, add cheese on top, etc! Then bake it in the oven at 350 until browned (30-40 mins) and enjoy! :D
Glad you visited my country! So how was Budapest? U enjoyed it? Next time please go to Szolnok - its really close to Budapest :D You will love it! MAGYARORSZÁG A LEGJOBB! :D
Really jealous in a nice way believe me and the Mrs and me are going to get motorhome very soon and start travelling Europe just got to get kids in uni then we can start living the dream 😁
I've watched lots of your vlogs now and was interested in your opinion on European food versus American food. I've always had the impression that American food was meat heavy, mostly factory farmed, but high in fat and lots of processed food. I may be wrong of course. How would you say European food compares to American food?
Hello Allison and Eric, the apartment was beautiful, food looks delicious & Allison"s dress is pretty! I have a Hungarian friend and she has gifted me a swèet tasting paprika. When do you travel to Singapore?
Hi, I watch your show with my family. Hopefully we will get to meet you when you come to Singapore! Let us know if you need help with any information about Singapore. Safe travels🌹
I've been watching a bunch of your videos, and I've been trying to figure out who you...sorry I don't remember the woman's name...remind me of. This one finally did it. It's the Pioneer Woman. I'm not sure if there's an actual resemblance or if it's just your eye makeup, but anyway. ;) Really enjoying these.
I think we have too much information on Eric's attempt to use the bidet, they seem to be a European thing. The cooking lesson looked interesting, did Nikita not want to try it :)
when are you gonna go to the highlands of Scotland...Glennie, fort William, loch ness, isle of Skye...don't miss the road to Skye, from fort William..the beaches are powder white, with turquoise crystal clear sea...dolphins, whales eat...it's like the carribean, only colder. .loads of quaint eateries, try deep fried haggis...please pencil it to your "to do list"
We are 100% going to the highland and back to Wales eventually. We really don't want to have rush through either though, so it'll probably be next year. But it'll happen 👍 And thank you for all the recommendations!
+The Endless Adventure hi...just to amend the (predictive spelling) on my Chinese phone...when you go to the Scottish highlands..pick up the A82 from Glasgow. ...it takes you all the way to Inverness, taking in loch lomond, Glenncoe,(where they filmed Highlander, rob Roy,...(infamous historic massacre, also took place there...then on up to fort William, loch line, ..up to fort George and the start of loch ness..the scenery is breathtaking, and makes the lake district look like a municipal park...but you must must must..take a diversion at fort William, and follow the road to the isles..up to mallaig..again the beaches and sea loch, and inlets are incredible ...they filmed the 80s film "local hero" at arisaig..as I mentioned, loads of quaint eateries, with locally caught traditional fish, eat..the further west and north you go, the more the people speak gaillic...incidently, I don't work for the Scottish tourist board. I'm just an ordinary guy. (English as well)...anyway, great to hear, it's in your future plans..love all your vids to date.. and as good as any television travel show, anywhere!!
Ugyanezt hittem en is. A szilvasat, fahejas porcukorol ettem, es a turosat meg vanillias tejfollel. Soha nem lattam szilva gombocot tejfollel. Ugy nez ki, hogy a tejfol mindenre jo! :)
They are from Missouri, but they lived in San Francisco before they started their travels. (I answered b/c I didn't know when they might see your question and I knew the answer.)
Ya, we actually uploaded it early, but kept it unlisted. How did you come across it? We didn't give anyone the link, but it ended up getting views 😂 We're so confused by it!
Here's a wacky idea: split the channel into Endless Aventure Food and do only food stuff on there, for people who kinda just care about that part of it.
Thanks so much!! And it's a combination of things...but mostly contract work and partnerships. And of course a bit from our awesome Patrons and a little bit from UA-cam ;)
I usualy just simply wash my buttom in the bathtub w the shower(then flush it), don't even use toilet paper since ages! The bidé is such a waste of space. Isn't it? 😈
love your vids , but dis-like this one , as i think that ALL vegetarians/ vegans , should be taken to a desert island put in a big pot , and cooked very very slowly by people who have bones through their nose !! xx
You guys must stop selling out your airBNB"s we all know why you do it and it acctually make me sick. you can like shoutout but stop making half of the video about the place because we are more interested in the content you guys give us then the places you promised to ad for a discount
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately UA-cam doesn’t pay well, so if we are going to invest time keeping up with our channel, we have to find ways for it to generate at least a little for us to live. We love staying in unique Airbnbs and showing them off, which we’ve been doing from the beginning. We understand it’s not for everyone, but then again it’s impossible to please everyone and that's not our aim anyways. The alternative is we stop posting videos altogether ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yea i get what your saying but i guess i wrote it to harshly and you guys missed my point. my self and i think i speak for every consumer in here, we like to content you guys give which is pretty amazing. but unfortunataly you post half of your content videos on advertising. maybe you should uplouad seperate videos for this purpase. i really belive that when people watch ads for the first time, they will leave the channel without coming back. your content is valuble , use it to make people come back!
Glad you're enjoying our videos for the most part! We personally enjoy showing off the unique places we stay in, and we do it whether or not there's a discount involved. Feel free to skip through those parts though if you're not a fan, it's not like it takes the place of other activities. Without it, the video would just be shorter, if that makes sense 👍

We're so happy to be your traveling eyes! Even if you can't travel far, hopefully you find some fun adventures nearby 😊
Hungarian here. Good to seeing you were enjoying our foods! :D
Potato is burgonya in Hungarian, the krumpli from “rakott krumpli” is like spud in English.
That music that guy was playing in the farmers market was AWESOME. That food was making me hungry
It was definitely some of the best/coolest street music we've heard!
rakott krumpli..still my favorite dish to eat...i walked 2 miles this past sunday in a -30 degree blizzard to pick up the sausages at the deli lol..i use it for my scrambled eggs as well:) Szilvas gomboc was my favourite 'dessert', though some people consider it a meal more than a dessert...i have yet to try to make it.
Ahhhh Szimpla! Love it so much! I studied in Budapest for a year and this was my favorite place, both as a market and a bar
Oh how cool! We love it as both, too! :D

Those plums look AMAZE!
You can make the plum dumplings with apricots too. That's heavenly too!
Yay! i love food videos! Btw, I love your dress! you're always wearing cue dresses. :)
Thanks so much, Vanessa! I usually don't carry maxi dresses because they're too heavy, but I couldn't resist that one 😍
I love the travel vlogs you guys do. You're always really enthuiastic about the places you visit. You also have a very open attitude towards experiencing new cultures. It's great to see. Thanks for the great content :)

Woh.. that music around 4:10 is amazing. That's coming from just that one guy? - Trevor
Right?! He was so good! We were totally blown away 🎶
Tök aranyosan dolgoztatok a konyhában, gratulálok!
You should post recipes from your cooking classes so your viewers can try it!
gee that plum treat looked great...I wonder if it would work with "whack on the counter" dough...Eric what did you do to your noggin? Looks like you took a bonk to the forehead...be careful! Also I loved that long, distressed wood aqua table...rustic and lovely...safe travels and happy eating!
Hahaha I love that you noticed that 😂 he hit it on a cabinet, I think! Poor guy!
At 5:27. Can we just appreciate the guy with white shirt wave to the camera. Haha
The first one is called ' Töpörtyű" or " Tepertő".
You pretty much can't go wrong with bacon dishes, mmmm!!! Thanks for the recommendations!
What you're referring to at the end (big chunk of paprika covered bacon) is called erdelyi szalonna (transylvanian bacon)
Artistic looking apartment.
Delicious video, great edition, great rhythm, glad to watch you again, well done guys!
Thanks so much, Ingrid ❤️
very cool! i've been wanting to do something like this and now i just might. i'm an hour from london, so i can start there :D
Perfect! It was such a fun experience :D We'll definitely have to do a cooking class in London next time we're through!
I’ve just cooked delicious Hungarian food from M&S and Waitrose ingredients 😆
A-1 Makes me hungry just watching you guys. Keep up the good work !!!
very good job with cooking. I have to look up the recipes for the food you made. especially the dumplings. 😀
We have that potato dish here in Romania, but it's a french recipe, called gratin dauphinois.
Love it! It's delicious no matter what the name is 👍🏻
Rakott krumpli (layer potato) the best! :D
Olajjal készítve a belem kihánynám tőle. Pfúj.
bedday? lol. My old German mother called it a bidette. It is of course a bidet pronounce beeday. Nice and hygienic.
As an old swede, that market, kitchen and cooking gives me 1973-ish vibes :)
I will wait for the cooking🤔
Food looks amazing 👍🏼.....do you ever get homesick? X
Sometimes, but we actually see our families more often now that we travel, so it's usually not too bad :)
Csak annyit hozzá hogy az igazi rakott krumplit fém sütőtálban kell sütni, akkor jo ha a tetje aranybarna az aljára rakott első sor krumpli pedig már ropogosra sült. Üvegtálban csak összefő.
Yum!!! Can I get the recipe for the potato, sausage, sour cream thing?
Yes, sorry for the delay! The dish is called rakott krumpli and you add a layer of oil, then boiled potatoes (make sure they're boiled first!), then your favorite smoked sausage, sour cream and finally salt. Repeat until you fill your baking dish - but make sure you end with the sour cream on top so it stays nice and juicy! Also, feel free to replace the meat with veggies, add cheese on top, etc! Then bake it in the oven at 350 until browned (30-40 mins) and enjoy! :D
Thanks!
and boiled, sliced eggs
No goulash? Talking about a national Hungarian dish. Did you guys try that over there? They really make the best goulash over there
It’s funny cause i grew up eating these foods😂❤️
Well we're jealous, because they were all so delicious!

Hello Allison and Eric, the apartment was beautiful, food looks delicious & Allison"s dress is pretty! I have a Hungarian friend and she has gifted me a swèet tasting paprika. When do you travel to Singapore?
Paprika is our new favorite seasoning! Hopefully you're finding plenty of ways to use it! And we'll be in Singapore mid-November :)

I think we have too much information on Eric's attempt to use the bidet, they seem to be a European thing. The cooking lesson looked interesting, did Nikita not want to try it :)
😂😂 ya, sadly Nikita was a bit under the weather that day. But he got to try the leftovers 👌
Could you share the link for this particular Airbnb? Thx!
What is the name of that delicious soup? It looks so yummy ^^

Tejföllel is szokták. Cukrot és fahéjat tesznek bele és tényleg finom azzal.
Ugyanezt hittem en is. A szilvasat, fahejas porcukorol ettem, es a turosat meg vanillias tejfollel. Soha nem lattam szilva gombocot tejfollel. Ugy nez ki, hogy a tejfol mindenre jo! :)

Rakott krumpli (layered potato) with no melted cheese on top? Awww man!
I want to make the soup ! 😎
We feel the same way! We'll definitely be making it again next time we have access to a full kitchen 😍
I’m very *hungary* right now.
Here's a wacky idea: split the channel into Endless Aventure Food and do only food stuff on there, for people who kinda just care about that part of it.
Makes me Hungary

I usualy just simply wash my buttom in the bathtub w the shower(then flush it), don't even use toilet paper since ages! The bidé is such a waste of space. Isn't it? 😈
It's funny how the world works... without any English you're out of the game!
If you want to see these 2 for the 4+ min, good on you, but I didn't want to see them, anymore, crap.
love your vids , but dis-like this one , as i think that ALL vegetarians/ vegans , should be taken to a desert island put in a big pot , and cooked very very slowly by people who have bones through their nose !! xx
