Hey Mark, as a Hungarian I must say you have made a better representation of what Hungary/Budapest is and what makes it great than any other video (Hungarian or foreign) could have/has had ever done. This is really what keeps people living here. Thank you for your great appreciation and brilliant video! Glad you liked your trip here!

@janoskanet, you are a great man with positive vibes, Mark is the guy who markets countries hence encouraging with a visiting urge..we learn alot via country food sampling.
For about a year I took care of a young Hungarian man. His mother a Hungarian immigrant had a story that brought me to tears. She would make some of these dishes for me and I could see the pride in her eyes when my eyes lit up on the first bite. Such delicious savory food. Coldcuts, onions, delicious broths, the Hungarian paprika is yummy. Such a rich history and culture. Thank you for sharing this video. Beautiful country.
I have never thought about Hungary as a food destination, but after viewing your video I want to try their food. You have a magical way of showing every country's best and greatest people, not to mention the cuisine.
My mother was born in Hungary, my father Canada (parents immigrated from Hungary). I grew up on the traditional Hungarian food. There is nothing like it!!! So proud to be Hungarian!! My maiden name is Kovacs.
Most beautiful, well all our native countries are! But the people are surely great and the good alike! As Romanian I liked Hu, Bg, Srb, Tk and Gr a lot! P.S. Almost missed your wines and palinka.
I love goulash. We visited Prague in 2015 and we noticed a Hungarian guy in one of the Christmas markets looking very stern, standing next to a big steaming pot of something. We went over and I asked what it is and he replied in a very stern voice "GOULASH!" I had to try it with some bread and I'm glad I did. Absolutely amazing 👌
So good to see Hungary on UA-cam!my father is from there and I went when I was young,I don’t think people know how beautiful it is and how good the food is,thanks mark!

Do you remember most of the interactions you had as a toddler?
I truly enjoyed this tour showing us a remarkable view of Hungary and it's iconic locations. The Basilica and more Church which I admired. The food stood up to your taste buds with your beautiful wife Ying and son Micah who is so handsome. Good genes! starting from breakfast to the last meal!
His wifes name is Ying* not Ming (I think that I have told you this a couple of times now).
Ma' Gla', you must be mistaken, this is just a couple of comments I've posted. Been watching him for a long time, but I subscribe to his channel a couple of days ago!
My last name and family is Hungarian. I want to visit Hungary very soon.
Be careful! What if you fall inlove to hungary and never want to go back, such hapend with Gav Duncan?😉 (No Punches Pulled / Kontra tube)
your family name actually says that you are from my town ... kinda like saying "new yorker".
@@gergogaal568 that’s awesome! What town is that!
@@cjk996 Komárom. Its actually two towns now because we were split and half of it is in Slovakia thanks to the treaty of trianon.
Hey Mark!
The day u made this video i was sitting a few feets away from you with my family celebrating my 30th birthday! I reckognized u on the spot but didnt want to disturb the video. Hope u enjoyed your time in hungary fully! 😁😎
Seems more fun when Mark is on his own with his family in a foreign country, compared to having local guides/friends showing him around.
Totally agree
Yeah. The tour guides are fine and all, but I find it more entertaining and authentic when it's just Mark, Ying, and Micah. Joel sometimes too, but I really enjoy when he's with his family. He seems a whole lot more energetic!
I am so Hungary now
@@GarnetsWeb yes it makes the whole video alot more personable!
yeah I agree
Lucy you Mark all around the world and enjoying so many different foods I love it
