Off-Roader, the PW is still king, but as an all purpose, hands down on the GMC. The one thing I can't imagine living without are the Ram boxes. I have a Rebel and carry a bunch of stuff, but everything is carefully placed away in storage areas.
The big difference is, is that the Ram can be purchased for $15000 off the MSRP. I know. I just bought a 2023 with level 2, sunroof, slide rock rails, and dynamic steering for the headlights for 67K, plus tax.
An even better realistic comparison would be the HD Silverado ZR2 gasser with Bison package vs the power wagon. The HD ZR2 on price wins hands down dollar for dollar.
You’re probably correct, but the hands down winner on looks is the GMC. I am not the biggest fan of Ford’s new front and on the super duties but I would drive any of the big three to be honest. Here is my breakdown. If I were doing construction work, I would drive the Ford if I were doing hotshot driving, I would drive the Ram and for Towing an RV with my family I would drive the GMC.
How is the 350 tremor a better off road vehicle than a PW? Disconnecting swab bar + no leaf springs means far more articulation. Does the Tremor have front lockers?
very disappointed on the payload, since my truck is used for towing a fifth wheel. I do have a Ram 3500 like I mentioned before, so I agree, a 1 ton is better. The winner is the AT4 for this time.
I would love to see how the Ford Tremor compares with both of these trucks. I believe the Ford Tremor HD is the best all purpose vehicle "i.e off road, payload, and towing.)
Nice video I just bought a 24 ram pw. I never really consider gmc but thought about f250 but the interior of ford is just non comparison to Ram and your AT4
I'm incredibly curious how the gears and joints will behave in front-wheel drive under load and with huge Duramax torque. On RAM 1500 they crumble with HEMI....
@@tompeebles6273I was going to get 23 that came with ram box and cheaper but sold the night before I got there end up with 24 but I plan to get a soft topper so I can have my dog cage in the bed.
Remember it is much more of a niche truck than the Ford or GMC. It's specifically built to be an off road king with sway bar disconnect, front and rear lockers, solid front axle, and standard 12K lb winch.
The body of the GMC is taller than the Ram to start, and the the GMCs tires are taller, so yep it will stand taller. Weird that Ram's hoodline is still taller! This would be a tough choice but if Ram wouldve ever offered a Cummins on the PW, that truck would be unbeatable.
That small HD bed is pitiful and that giant hump in rear middle is embarrassing. Time for Dodge to make the HD bed bigger and give it the new half ton interior. The payload on the lamb is 😂😂😂

Wrong. The AT4X is definitely still off-road king.
6 speed tranny and a 3.73 gear? No thank you. This isn't close.
I just subscribed to your Channel just because you have that AR in the back seat…. Thats America right there!
Murrica!!!!!
That’s awesome! Never apologize for the AR!!

Where ?
@@mrmoparrr I purchased it back in December 2023 from Waldorf Dodge in Maryland
I enjoyed your demonstration , it’s all about the Power👍
AT4X 👑

I agree 100% much closer comparison.
The baddest off road HD is the F350 Tremor high output. But i think the powerwagon wins here over at4x. Front locker, solid axle

I was pretty bummed they lost the front locker when I upgraded from the 1500 X.

taking the at4x

Ford is terrible
Power wagon is the only Dodge that I would own!
It's still a fiat!
@@MMikeHD3904 true, still badass when right
Im taking the at4x
You pet that PW bumper and it dents. Cant wait to upgrade mine.
Whats better a 2022 ford f450 limited or a 2023 ram 3500 limited both dually’s
The GMC has the towing cameras, plug a trailer in and change lanes, you'll see. Or just go into cameras and play around.
Was this a 2023 PW? The RamTruck website is showing a 3140lb payload and 14,760lb towing for the 2024 PW
both amazing trucks, guess comes down to what ya really need it to do and how much you're willing to spend for it ... Great review. TY for sharing.
honestly GMC looks better but the PowerWagon name will prevail in the future $$$

Young man, the GMC is 6'10, 3/4" - measured with a level from the tip of the antenna and a laser measuring device to that level from the ground...

Those tires on the ram are way too small and you cant pack heavy going off-road. I think the at4x will smash the tremor too.
Really should have went at4x aev
What about the AT4 AEV Package
You're reaching over $100K now
If The RAM On The Right Was Higher Off The Ground..It Would Look Comparable To The Beautiful GMC🧐🤔
Power wagon payload is terrible
Sure is, and add the ram box bed on top, it trims that payload down even further. But, in the end, im glad i got the ram box

It is not for towing a tractor. It is for towing a fifth wheel virt😊ually anywhere!

La ganadora es la GMC Sierra HD AT4X luce más bonita y las candela
That RAM will beat that at4s rump like a Cherokee drum off-road 😅
It isn't close. The GMC is far superior.
HD trucks with goodyear tires..may as well just have a ford 🤔
