They would have to completely rework the entire suspension frame and rear end if they did a diesel option. Or simply rate it for the same capacity as a gas engine but even then the front end would have to be beefed up significantly. That has always been the reason they haven’t added the diesel option. Seems simple right but who really knows
IMHO these are in two different categories completely. The RAM PW is built with off-road capability taking precedence over towing and the Tremor is built with towing taking precedence over off-road capability. I think the Tremor strikes a better balance just because no matter what you do a HD truck is a HD truck and no matter how capable you make it the vehicle will never fit through things carved out by jeeps. But that's just my opinion. IMO Ram should be taking note from Tremor's success and adjust the PW accordingly. The PW of old, oddly enough, was more akin to the Tremor today.
My only real significant dig against the Tremor is that the F250 Tremor is just an F350 Tremor that's de-rated. So you've got some extra weight there you don't get to make use of which pulls from your payload. Doesn't make any sense to get a diesel F250 Tremor, again just my opinion.

Man I like all the big 3 but the RAM next to the ford looks like a little toy here...and that payload dang my jeep has more payload than the RAM....no comparison in these 2 trucks whatsoever...is this specific RAM even a truck?? Hatchback type payload wow
Everything aside last 3 years QC has dropped significantly for all the big 3 none is better than the other now at all in terms of QC...just pray that whatever you get you get a good one.
I doubt your jeep has a 8565 lb GVW or an 18,000 GCW rating. You could your jeep in the back box if it were long enough.

My neighbor has a brand new Ford Platinum and he is getting water in it, thought I would never say it but I would go with the RAM I have a 5000 lb travel trailer and still go with the power wagon

The ram you lose payload and towing by selecting the power wagon due to the more off road oriented suspension.
Hey, nice review, but you should’ve compared the tremor to the 2500 rebel diesel with the power wagon package. The tremor is 15k more! Unless you’re towing heavy most of the time, Power Wagon all the way!
My buddy at work - his 2024 F250 been in shop for a month - compressor went out. The fan clutch in his 2023 went out also. Dude buys the new ford every year 🤦♂️🤷♂️

Great trucks, I like the GM trucks as well. My question is ..........who in the hell would go "off-roading" with a $85K - $100K truck? If I learned anything in my younger off roading days is that you NEVER go off roading with your ride home. You use the $90K truck to pull the trailer with your off-roading vehicle of choice around with. So ....... when you're broke down or stuck in the woods, you have a way home or to get help, not to mention the risk of damage from tree limbs, stumps, rocks, deep ditches or mud holes that would dent, break, mar, scratch, or scrape your nice truck.
One hauls more tows more has more power and more torque. Has a bigger bed by almost 6 inches. The Lamb is also owned by shitlsntis
Tremor
The Power Wagon will circles around a Tremor any day off-road BUT being a versatile truck and still packing some serious punch, Ford has the Ram beat in it's turf and capitalized on the sole fact it doesn't come with a diesel.
Strictly off road, the PW still rules… if you’re towing as well then the tremor… tremor with Godzilla would be my choice… or maybe the at4x AEV

You can get a winch with the tremor as well also I think I could be wrong the tremor has 35 inch tall tires unlike with the Power Wagon and you can get a 250 or 350 either gas or diesel in the tremor as well unlike with the Power Wagon you can only get the Gas engine.
