- We started working on the Kawasaki KX100 street legal conversion about four years ago. In this video, we finally get it done. There were some distractions to our progress in this video, since we were also taking a family vacation at the same time.
Our goal was to create the perfect lightweight small dual sport motorcycle for my wife (Camera Girl!). It will mainly see off road use, with occasional trips on the street. We built this project using as many OEM Kawasaki parts as possible to a factory look and feel.

The grooves would have been a focal point for the vibrations and cracked eventually.
I am in awe of the fact you managed to lower the pan without spilling the fluid all over... Now to see if you successfully bolt it back up without losing it all...

I LOVE his editing style (the voice over transition from the Kawi dealership was very well done) and always get a smile watching their chemistry when they are filming. Been around since the Generator repair videos and haven't missed any since!

Videos more often please! Love watching them as soon as they air! I can’t recall if you installed a heavier flywheel weight, but that will take some of the bite out of that 2-stroke powerband, and make it much easier on Camera Girl!

I remember watching all the previous videos on the KX100 and it transforming into road legal years back maybe almost 2 or 3 years ago and now it is finally finished, nice to see you still around.

For a dual sport style motorcycle, I'd recommend Double Take mirrors. They fold up nicely for off road use and will take abuse if you take a spill. A bit more money, but worth it. Also some folding style levers is a good idea to prevent those bends.

You can get motorcycle wheel chocks that slide into (almost)flush brackets so you can remove them when you are parked. I used them in our trailer when my son was a off-road racer. They worked really well.
