Lol.,, "good morning, to what ever this place this is" Best quote of the year!!
My father loves ur videos Im also a fan keep up the good work!
The wagon train sculpture is Amazing. Just beautiful.
6:16 This is my favourite music for Travelling Robert Video... 👌😊😊👍 Sometimes I play your videos just to listen to this piece of music.
Another great trip into our heartland. I love the sculptures of the covered wagons and pioneers. It really is amazing with all the life size detailed people in it. It's hard to imagine their struggle to cross our great land. Great video, editing and scenes. Unlike out west but pleasantly serene and satisfying. Continue on your travels having fun and, as always, be safe my friend.
i never knew Omaha is as big as it is, and those pioneer statues are incredible.
My family has a cabin by the river in Decatur you were very close to it actually great to see a tour of the heartland. We moved from Omaha to poinciana in July.
Straddling the Iowa/Nebraska line on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is called "Bobbing." :) Glad you had a great time in this area! Where you stayed near Onawa is less than 20 minutes from where I live and work (Lyons, NE).
Also, glad you got to visit Decatur, which is Nebraska's 2nd oldest settlement. One place to stop to eat and drink is Pop 'n Docs in Decatur - they have plenty of live music and a drink called "Painkillers." (Just down the gravel road that you were on that goes under the bridge.)
P.S. You were pretty close to Tekamah, Nebraska, where they have Pelican Point State Recreation Area and statues of pelicans everywhere. Next time!
Robert, I just realized that you have the best relaxation videos. Disney and other's don't come close.....
Thank you for your efforts Robert. that's very nice to watch.
Great video my friend, absolutely love that music. The traveling songs that sound like electronic banjo picking to me lol. Loved it.
Omaha grew up!! We were there in the 70's, safe travels!!!!
Omahan here. Great video! You've inspired me to re-explore my city.
Ahhhhhh, Sunday morning! Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Thanks Robert! 🌄
Great video. Good to see you back. The wife and I look forward to seeing your new adventures every Sunday.
Thank you Robert I enjoyed the video like I always do. The old sections of Omaha city were interesting. I remember seeing the bridge you showed Illy in your older videos. I have seen and enjoyed all of them. Take care and have fun🤣😝😜
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵🍔🍔, Iowa indeed is very surprising. Some time ago on a cross country trip to California we drove through Iowa expecting flat farmlands and to our surprise the land was full of high rolling hills and we were so happy to enjoy the scenary along I-80. Omaha is a great city, especially the pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River. Des Moines is a really nice city, especially downtown where you can take the pedestrian bridge. I'm looking forward to seeing the state capital next week. Excellent video footage👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
Thank you, Robert. This was my husband's and my stomping grounds when we were young. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Very interesting city. I like the sculptures. Great video . Keep safe.......Love MOM
Thank you Robert. Another Great Video. 💘
Gooooooooid morning! Thank you for kicking off our Sunday just right, Robert. Cheers!! ✌ 💘 🍺
How enjoyable that was. River. Bridge. John Wayne. Beautiful countryside. You sure have a way of finding the great spots and views. ❤
I proposed to my wife as we were standing on the state line of the Bob. Great video!
This video is something else. Not like a normal video. It seems like one but It has its own attracting power. I don't know why I so much love this video but this is just amazing!!!!🤩😂
Another excellent video Mr. Robert... Thank you sir...
I loved this one because Iowa is indeed pretty with all the rolling hills but I know I’ll enjoy the next one even more because that one has the Iowa state Capitol!
Winterset is a cute town, not as small as I imagined. Too bad Robert missed out on the attractions he was hoping to visit.
Nice relaxing episode. With a couple of gems to visit.
I am from Lincoln nebraska and proud of it love the middle west.
Thanks Robert love the video
Omaha is a great place to live. Thanks for visiting and safe travels.
COLD as hell, though.
@@murraypft Come back during the Men's College World Series, fun times. It gets hot too.
@@wes326 Did that for the first 3-4 years after I got out. Saw Clemens pitch.
Keep up the good work Robert enjoy your videos 👍
Robert, that was very enjoyable. Although, sad to see what COVID-19 has done to so much of our country…🇺🇸
By the way, your choices of background music are excellent. Your hard work 😓 really shows. Thank you
I love the new intro! I still think "Riding in my RV" sounds a little better, but that's just my opinion. Keep it up!
great video Robert
Enjoying this mornings video from you're home state and not NC!
Who would’ve known that Nebraska is so interesting! And wow new intro!
No its not its really not
Yes, I love to drive around especially small towns to see the architecture and the people. Thanks for sharing this with. Love the driving views
Enjoyed the vlog.
I was born in Omaha in 1953 and left for Oklahoma in 1975, my last visit to Omaha was 1990.
Great Video! If you ever come back to Omaha, we can show you some cool places.
Great video, as usual. If you want to be in three states at once, you can hike up to Tri-State Peak in Cumberland Gap National Historic Park.
Omaha kind of reminds me of Columbia South Carolina, big buildings than a cute little downtown
@OlsTrucksRule Omaha is a 1 million population metropolitan area with a city population of 485,000- so it’s larger than Columbia SC. But I can sort of see what you’re saying. Omaha has a nice downtown, and currently nearly 1 billion $$ in development is happening within its city core. One thing I wouldn’t say, is Omaha’s downtown is “little”. It’s pretty large and significant.
Excellent 👍👍👏😊
I have lived in Omaha my whole life and have never been on that bridge.
Yay Omaha, thank you for portraying our city so nicely. I remember those smoky days, that’s too bad because the blue sky is amazing in our city. Hope to see you here one day. Welcome back
Love you videos. It’s so great to see videos about places!!
I have a suggestion though. Why don’t you keep your hiking shoes in your truck? Might be more convenient. 😉
Thank you, from Omaha!
ROBERT EXCELLENT VIDEO BLESSING TO YOU AN ILE
I was stationed just south of Omaha, Offutt AFB, three times between '79 and '86. When I was first stationed there, I was a poor enlisted man. Because "The Spaghetti Works" was really cheap, I would eat there ALL the time.
I offered to take you and your better half to lunch or dinner back in 2019, but that year was bad. I was diagnosed with cancer, but I'm in remission, yeah!😃I didn't know you would come back so soon with vivid and everything. Sorry I missed you both. If your ever in Omaha again, let me know as far in advance as you can, and we'll break bread together!
There's a good chance we'll be stopping by early next summer
Next time you need to try spaghetti works...they have a beer cheese sauce to die for
That pedestrian bridge is nicknamed " The Bob " as in: " I walked the Bob" !
Man that Winterset part is hard since the tornado last weekend leveled the town
I didn't know. That's very sad.
Those wagons where the first RV's. :)
I live in Omaha, had I known you were coming through I would have bought you a beer.
The Omaha Zoo is very nice
Love ❤️ all your travels Robert, I’m in aww of such vast beauty of our beloved USA 🇺🇸 blessings to you and all who follow you ☺️🙏🏼
Ok Robert how many states have you been to so far,,,👍👍🍻🍻
Pioneer Park what a gem
I sat on John Wayne's Bar stool in Eloy Arizona,,,,it was pretty cool
All the lower 48 and Alaska
@@TravelingRobert Wow you got me by 12 States,,,
Iowa is such a pretty state, love the small town feel! Wow that crop duster was close - great shot! Thanks for sharing one of the bridges of Madison county! I (Christy) loved the movie!!
just found your channel......you are awesome......love how you present things. Are you coming to Misoouri? You got to visit my home town, Pleasant Hill......civil war memorial, historic cemetery and historic downtown.....and the national weather service.
I find that gps does not always keep up with your position, creating confusion on when to actually turn - wow that's a lot of ham, time for a nap after that meal
P Cool..never been THKS !!
If you were at Eppley Airport In Omaha you could see Carter Lake Iowa to the west of the Airport.
Robert, are you, or have you ever been a radio d.j.? Your narration is excellent, and your editing is pretty good too.
If you travel the Great River Road again, you should camp in Yellow River State Forrest, Little Paint Creek. There are no hookups, but it's a nice campground with a trout stream running through it.
Almost so close to Carter Lake Iowa you were on the Correct side of the river
Watch a ton of RV and Nomad video's on UA-cam....One thing ive noticed as a whole (there are exceptions). Other than say the UP, Ive found that am not too interested in RVing in the east...Really not a fan of RV parks, bugs, the weather there..Having said this, we really did enjoy the NOLA area even though the weather major sucked...We will i think give the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains a try though as there appears to be enough state parks in the area to keep us happy...And as i mentioned, all of the UP is on our list as we have a base camp (Sisters place) in northern Indiana to use as a way point ...Just spent time in the area your now in earlier this summer.....not impressed in the least when our favorite thing there was Cracker Barrel cause we have none out west...
kool i havent seen your videos in a while , PEACE buddy
I knew a phlebotomist who lived near that area where nebraska, iowa, south dakota and Minnesota borders meet
What's his name? I use to live a mile from there
No drive by of Warren Buffet's house?
👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
when are you going to produce a cookbook?
were you originally going to Nebraska for the 2017 solar eclipse
Yes
Robert, you rush from schedule to schedule, what's the point?
ROBERTO POR CASUALIDAD USTED ES HERMANO DE XIOMARA MORALES.
No
Its getting to be way too many commercials.

Hi Any chance for us wok to gether:)
Morning, Robert! Thanks for the tour of Omaha. I missed out on seeing the city last time I was in the area--went to the Strategic Air Command Museum instead, which was really cool. So many neat places, so little time! The poor air quality you document in this episode is a big reason I postponed my road trip out there this year. Hopefully the skies will be smoke free in 2022. Until next week, happy trails!
