Lots of cool roadside attractions! I remember driving thru Nebraska as a teenager and my dad letting me drive because he didn’t think I could hurt anything because there wasn’t anything there.

If you love that danish community, you should check out The tulip festival in Pella Iowa. The first weekend in May. It is also a Dutch community and they have a large windmill too.

TOO FUNNY at the Hotel with the Fireworks when you arrived, it looked pretty clean and you were Blessed to get that room...what a neat looking bridge... windmill was cool... thanks for taking us along with you on your adventure...

I stayed at the hotel long ago, the Pump and Pantry was not there. They stuck us in the corner room and it was dirty to say the least. I slept on top of the covers. A Dog slept outside our room the entire night and chased us for a long while when we left, I am sure he wanted us to take him with.. if we were not on motorcycles we may have. 😂

I’m sorry but I am 😂 laughing so hard! We are retired and can relate to of the shady places. I think I would have been running down the road thinking the fireworks were pew pews 😬. Love all your videos and adventures 🥰 Be safe & God Bless

I love Carhenge, every trip we make to Mt. Rushmore we visit. Seems like we notice something different every time we go.

When you go back to Iowa go during May to Pella IA during the tulip festival and there is an amazing Danish bakery there with all kinds of goody's to try!!

We happened upon the Holy Family Shrine just off I 80 between Lincoln and Omaha. Though we couldn’t go inside, it was a beautiful place, chapel and Grotto in the middle of a corn field
They used to have more president statues in Williamsburg a long time ago. They have since been moved somewhere else.

Loved seeing the presidents. Outside of Williamsburg they had all the presidents in a nicely shaded area and each president had a button you pressed to learn some history about them. Too bad, I guess not enough people came because later they were gone. And yes, the busts did very much resemble the real person. Norfolk had them too before they ended up at Williamsburg.
35:07 The tin solider was also in a sequence of Fantasia 2000. Disney is actually a big story telling of Hans Christian Anderson, although Hans already past 26 years before Walt Disney was born. There was even a Silly Symphony cartoon, actually two of them on the Ugly Duckling in the 1930s.
Love the Danish communities and attractions. Iowa never disappoints. Dawn and WIll, these trips are not cheap so thank you for doing these fun series,

You drive in the car 🚗 wash and put a quarters in and wash the car it's the same as any other quarter car wash
