    Ryan thank you for making these videos. I think they're awesome. Also I've started getting really good at them and can sometimes predict what you're gonna do in the video.
    In this one you're probably gonna use bumps, displacement, Node wrangle some voronnoi or noise nodes, colour maps for sure.
    EDIT: I litteraly predicted everything that was gonna happen in this video.

    The problem with using a Voronoi texture for the holes is that it creates a conical hole instead of a spherical hole. The holes in cheese are spherical air bubbles, not cones.

      @@RyanKingArt RGB Curves node between your Color Ramp and Displacement Node. A 3 position curve should allow you to round out the peaks.

      @@RyanKingArt The only other minor thing would be that the cheese with holes is Swiss, which is more of an off white than an yellow/orange.

    Your expression is like your bracing for neverending barrage of cheesy jokes that we all know are coming. Well balanced trolling performance with cleverly weaved in high quality blender tutorial for deception purposes. My troll senses are tingling. Am I seeing this wrong ? It feels like you're natural born comedian that also happens to be a good blender artist and a good tutorial maker. First time seing your vid BTW. Great content.

    very good video my only issue was when connectiong the distance node to the height displacement note it didnt burst out like it did for you

      make sure to turn on the displacement settings that I go over at the beginning of the video, Also make sure your in cycles render engine.

    It is very strange, but if I render cheese by evee - everything is ok, but if I use Cycles - geometry is broken, holes are not rounded and i have even scratches from center of cylinder..
    Could You tel me, what is wrong?

      hmm that's weird. Because I'm using Cycles. also the displacement only works in Cycles.

      I have not yet made a geometry nodes beginner tutorial. Although I do plan to make one once I learn more about it. I'm still learning geometry nodes myself. There are lots of other creators on UA-cam, who have made geometry node beginner tutorials that you could watch for now.

    I bought your file, it does not render and is not the same as in your render. my version of blender 2.93.1 What could be the problem and how to solve it? The blender itself freezes

      Because this is a Procedural material, so the point of it is that the cheese holes are in the material, not the object geometry.

      I like using Nvidia's GPUs. So I would recommend getting an Nvidia graphics card.

      Yep it will still work. although if your using the latest Blender Version, then instead of using the Mix RGB node, use the Mix Color Node instead. They just updated the name of the Mix RGB node, to the Mix Node.
