      it makes total sense. to me, he is a whole, masculine person... Men have feelings too, and his performance energy is just as real as his gentler side. it's what creates the whole person. I've always seen him as a very gentle, but very masculine man. That's what you hear in the music, and see on stage, too. It's completely in sync, and beautiful to behold!

      Dude to be honest my income is pretty bad, and I was in New Mexico two weeks ago and I had elk and Bear. If you're in the right area of the United States you can have those things if you just look around. On top of that, basically anywhere you are in the United States you can have wild game. You just have to commit yourself to going out and hunting, and I'm telling you it's an addiction man, there's just something about the energy and the way that people connect with nature that draws you in. I actually live in Indiana, and next year I want to go out deer hunting. I probably will go out rabbit hunting, and do some squirrel hunting this season. When the salmon season comes I like to Salmon fish, I also like to go out and catch walleye and catfish. Just go back to Nature man you're going to find a really exhilarating experience that feels wonderful.

    I love his mentality on diet...it's strangely rare. I'm dead-set on a low-carb, low-sugar diet being the overall best choice for humanity, but I recognize that everyone has their own tastes and interests, as well: diet isn't just about "maximum health". The joy of eating what you love also matters, even when it comes to health. Good food relieves stress, which then reduces bad health outcomes. Stress is a killer on its own, so stressing out endlessly about food is never the right way.

      Yeah, that's true too. Life is temporary, and we should definitely appreciate it while we are here but we're all subject to death, and even predation. You know I know a lot of people object to killing animals. Obviously I can appreciate the Majesty of the natural world, but at the same time death is a natural Order of Things. You know I've actually had people complain about catching and eating fish but if you look into the Aquatic world there's just constant death. So I don't really see the problem with catching a salmon, or catching a pike when salmon and Pike kill things all the time.

    Game doesn't have to be expensive, butchers in my city and some supermarkets stock wild boar, venison, pheasant, partridge and more. Fresh fish can be very cheap too. You can eat very well on a budget but, it definitely requires some thought and some planning, particularly if certain game is out of season. Learning how to really cook can save money.

    • @billyin4c514
      @billyin4c514 Рік тому +1

      Yeah it is affordable, and yeah you do have to be thoughtful about your diet. I think it's really sad that in the United States we really do have a lot of variety of quality food available and yet there are so many people who just eat whatever preservative-filled garbage that company's advertising put out in supermarkets. I think that the American people need to have a kind of Revolution of our connection to food, and we need to as a culture start eating food that's more authentic to Our Roots. People always talk about bad Health in america, and people over consuming low quality food. I think the constant complain is people say it's too expensive to eat healthy. I come from a Mexican-American culture, and I was actually raised in southern Texas where fresh fruit, and vegetables are constantly available. You know the food that my parents and my grandparents were raised on was not expensive, it was usually beans, rice, chickens, cabbage, and other very simple foods but they were nutrient dense, full of fiber and great for the human body. You know you go out and you look in grocery stores in America and if you go to the section where they have a long grain rice, and other grains those things mostly don't get bought. You look at the vegetables, and so much of those vegetables end up going to waste. Here in Indiana there's always squash available but nobody goes out of their way to take the squash and learn how to prepare soups with it, for saute it, or just make some delicious dish out of a very natural food. I think we're mostly doing in America is people have abandoned the job of preparing their own food and cultivating an environment within their household that is healthy and positive for their families.

He was born into poverty, and if you went to that small town and you saw the quality of food that those people ate you would be floored. Regular everyday people 100 years ago eight good quality of food. The reason that we have such poor health in this country is because our labor has changed, so many people get freebies from the government, and we have abandoned the job of creating good food within our households for the convenience of buying absolutely f****** horrible food somebody else prepared.

    Most people are oblivious, either by ignorance or by choice to make reality fit their reasoning, to the fact Rogan´s pointing at in this interview: wild animals die horrendous deaths. Being hunted is basically their way out of living the most atrocious moment a living being can have, which is being eaten alive. I´d "recommend" (no, I don´t...) to listen to the audio tapes of that guy who studied bears and was eaten alive by one. It is one of the most disgusting things I´ve ever done. Now imagine that that´s your destiny except somebody shoots you cleanly...
