Simply Thank You my brother! Red Hot Chili Peppers changed my life, I still remember my uncle giving me their album Californication on vinyl, and they are my favorite band to this day. They changed my whole life. Im so greatful that they are in my life and I want to thank you for this documentary.🌶
Excellent! I always look forward to your documentaries. RHCP deserves their massive success and imo should be regarded as among the greatest bands of all time.
WHY is it that it's only now that people start realizing how BAD drugs were in the 70s and 80s? The Chili Peppers are all lucky to be alive and be getting their flowers from the crowd every night. A lot of people never live to smell those flowers.
The longevity of this band is just incredible even if you don’t like their new stuff the fact their still selling out world wide says enough I was fortunate enough to see them in January and it was the greatest night of my life the boys were on fire only thing I wished is we got more FS-BSSM but still 🔥
I still say "purt" in real life because that's how I've always said it and that's how every single person, teacher and musician I've ever known in the UK to say it. Thanks for watching and glad you love the work!
Understood, I just recall Neil correcting that at a few instances pronouncing his last name "Pier-T" :) I've shared your channel to a few friends now, love the work you've put into all these documentaries.
19:38 is exactly why I love John so much. I related to his dark times so much that I felt I wasn't alone. I was having these odd sensations in my head and just seeing death in everything that is alive. It made me feel less alone to read John had these same issues (probably even worse).
People often don’t properly understand the terrifying nature of this type of experience; well done to you and Frusciante for getting through it and healing yourselves.
I first saw them in 1984 on IRS’s The Cutting Edge (back when MTV played music) and went out and used my paper route money to buy all their records. It was funny when all my friends finally came around after Under The Bridge came out….. I had already been a fan from way back! True men don’t kill coyotes, behind the sun, thirty dirty birds 💯
so glad i have an “older mom” went to see red hot chilli peppers concert along with so other many classics (queen, elton john, steve miller, styx, reo speed-wagon, and plenty more) I consider myself to have an old soul and i absolutely love it and hate my generation.
John Frusciante with a 6pack and a mohawk... With that genius mind, and amazing* talent musically- the melodies and riffs all at the perfect* time. It's literally a spiritual experience that I get to share with them❤. Frusciante! Frusciante!
This was great! Have you done one on Rammstein? They've been together 30 years next year with the same 6 original members and are still selling out stadiums right now!
Saw them for only the 2nd time last summer. The 1st time I saw them they were great & Josh was in the band. Being a long term Chili's fan, I thought I'd never get to see them with John. So when they came back to the UK last year with John. I didn't care how far I had to travel or how much it would cost I was going to be getting a ticket. I live not far from the border between England & Scotland. I got a ticket with a couple of mates to see them at Scotlands national football stadium. Which is 160 miles from where I live. It turned out even better than I expected, bearing in mind over the years I've seen some of the world's biggest bands & a whole lot more on top of that. The whole day was just one of the best of my life. I think with the area I'm from we are the only Englishmen the Scots don't hate. In fact our accent is far more closer to Scotch than English & we get on great very similar cultures. It just added to the day, the lads were on fire & of course John was worth going to see on his own he was that good. But him & Flea have a genuine telepathic way of playing together. They did a jam thst was pretty long & I still haven't got to know what it was but it was amazing.
Like them hate them whatever but you really got to give them credit for the fusion of styles and genres they were able mix in one song give it away is a fusion of funk jazz hip hop rock and metal its crazy that song is a crazy genius fusion of styles
Hotta Thanna Chilli 🌶🤌 Sweeeeeeta Thanna Peppaaa🎶 4:07 a😋 🤞🏻🫰 3:59 Lovely these Guyz Love This This Channel and Dammit I fuckin Love Rock 🪨 🎸 ♥️ 🫠Thank You all 🤌🏽🌶🌶🌶🌶
I was reading mark lanagans book sing backwards and weep...talks about a man in there he claimed was Anthony dad....he called him blacky i think in the book said some not good things about him if i remember correctly...marks book is one of the best autobiography ive ever read ...a little short but also the craziest book ride youll ever take lol
Was there any proof of him visiting the island other that that fake list? Genuinely asking we all know his story about fucking a 15 year old so it would make sense but I’d like to think that his sobriety changed him as a human who knows never meet your heroes 🤷♂️
Not good to present pot to a too young kid...yes and no. I started cannabis near of this age too and then at 18 years old, to reduce consumption, to be less and less interested until I stopped completely 😂🤣
Impossible considering neither would’ve known about the others songs with them both being isolated with recording as almost the exact same time. Don’t spread drama that doesn’t exist. Have facts if you’re going to make such an educated claim!

Except kiedes he is a child molester

I just wish there weren’t somewhat common mistakes in wording, explanation, etc
Well said. For sure

Drugs are worse today unfortunately

That man hasn’t even got comic timing.
Please do Disturbed, Three Days Grace (Adam Goutier), and Falling In Reverse (Ronnie Radke)
Can you please do green day next ❤
You should do Judas Priest next 🤘🏻
He just uploads the movie rockstar lol
You should also do pearl jam

The best
Did I skip "Mother's Milk"????????
Is this written and narrated by AI?
👏
Jumps allover the place instead of following the timeline.
Because it isn't a video about a timeline.
What about Freaky Styley
One great LP and that is pretty it! 😅
its a real shame Tony was frequenting that island hmmmm. plus his marriage. a bit sus. can never look at the peppers in the same way.
Was there any proof of him visiting the island other that that fake list? Genuinely asking we all know his story about fucking a 15 year old so it would make sense but I’d like to think that his sobriety changed him as a human who knows never meet your heroes 🤷♂️
Can you elaborate please ?
Nothing proven! Drama queen…
New Zealand has the best pies
That’s incorrect
Not good to present pot to a too young kid...yes and no. I started cannabis near of this age too and then at 18 years old, to reduce consumption, to be less and less interested until I stopped completely 😂🤣
They had to have been separated at birth 🤷🏻
Under the bridge is a rip of Nirvanas Something in the way. It's a good song
It's definitely not

@@jimwhite4270, indeed. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
AIC is NOT Grunge
Yes they are.
Lmao….clearly you have zero idea what grudge is CMil
@jimwhite4270 I mean I kind of do. Jerry's riffs are all sludge metal and glam/true metal rooted.
Red hot chili peppers is my fav band ever but this doc is so frickin boring I can't listen to it. Stopped not even 5 minutes in
Whomp whomp 😂
