You play the tutorial and the game crashes! What's going on??
The game doesn't know how to limit the power your PC can handle and
will run it at maximum! This is great if I have a really strong PC but for those
who don't, we can run into blue screens, crashes, freezes or even shutdowns!

People keep saying, "Oh you just need to upgrade" but... Why can Cyberpunk play flawlessly on max, but this shit on low settings shuts my pc off? Doesnt sound like an "old PC" problem
It's not. It's a CPU dependant game and so Cyberpunk is handled by your GPU mostly...however, this game is mostly CPU bound. I actually went to upgrade to an i7 14th gen and the difference is night and day vs my old it 9th gen. You can still turn the fps to 60 tho in nvidia control panel to release system resources.

got almost 100 hours, over 3 weeks, befoe the latest patch, now can rarely finsih a mission, even crashed to desktop with no event viewer, while standing on the ship, not even in a mission, i think it's an issue for the devs, as many others in the hd2 reddity report same after the patch.
did you ever find a fix to it
@@magictacovii9662 nah, just keep on trying after every new patch. Still crashes now but not that much

It isn't games plural... only helldivers 2 crashes
Maybe it is referring to differing game session?
@@zeflona2 Every game session is a crash hazard. Doesn't matter what planet I go to
@@zeflona2 Not to mention now my game wont even start and tries saying that I don't have direct3D 12 when in fact I do and it's been supported on my graphics card since like 5 years ago

@@TheAnxiousOwl i got away with some matches last night with no issues. Had to check the event viewer. Found some issues and had to fix them through the registry editor (old ryzen master versions for example)
After some reboots an checkin the event viewer each time i have no more warnings flashing as going good so far
@@TheAnxiousOwlthat happened to me too. I couldn’t turn my pc on for 18 hours and then it randomly started working when I check it the next day
It's just bad game code.
Running 7800x3d temps stay low
5700xt GPU temps stay low...
Same here my 78003xd has to flex its muscles but it stays relatively cool. Seems like just another sh*tty console port

@@LetMeFixIT Same, it turns off even with low temperatures, the solution is not ¨get a new cpu¨ the game is flawed by itself, I know people with way worse CPU than mine and they play it flawlessly

You know at first it was an issue with overheat, temps running in the high 80s. After a while the temp would never go above 49 degrees, and shutdowns still happened. My processor is new it’s a Ryzen 7 5800 X3D and GPU is a 3080 Ti 12Gb. So if im not having issues with heat why is my pc still shutting down?
It could be your ram that's overheating too. Do you have heatsinks on them?
@@LetMeFixIT interesting that I didn’t think about RAM. They do have heat sinks but they are closely stacked together. I used nvidia control panel to frame limit the game to 60FPS and now I’m having no more shutdowns :D

I think they just didn’t make the pc version to run on old gaming platforms, I’m not even able to get into the proper settings and I’ve played the game
When i try to load into a game I either get a blue screen and the computer automatically reboots itself or it reboots without the BSOD. Running RTX 3080, i7-10700k with good temps. Have tried verifying files in steam, reinstalling and deleting appdata, makes no difference.
Have you tried capping the FPS to 60 or even 30 via nvidia control panel yet? If you have, you can also try and see if your BIOS is auto shutting down with a predetermined temp. Mine's capped to 100C and if it goes above that then the system is forced to run slower.
i have a intel i5 10400f and the cpu usage using this game its always 100% (maybe its lower on the ship, didint payed attention there) how do i fix this? i red is not a problem if its always at 100% bue not recomended. i saw a video of a dude using the same cpu and he is at 50% usage... why am i at 100%? and it also heats a lot :/ close to 90c is this game that bad? in terms of performance
did you try my suggestions in the video? If it didn't work, try changing fps to 30 and see if that lowers CPU usage.
my game just closes half way through a mission I have tried everything other than a hard uninstall because I have a lot of progress what should I do.
The uninstall doesn't remove your progress so feel free to try that too. The game is tied to your account on steam and is synced. Just make sure the cloud status is saying up to date before you uninstall.
im using a intel i9 12900k and rtx 3090 i have a ryjun 2 cooler and like 12 fans and i keep overheating hopefully this fixes it
My pc keeps turning off in the same spot(loading into a mission). The temperatures are no where near hot, i have a new 4090 and an i9-13somethingk. Power supply of 1000W. It only turns off for helldivers. I can play dragons dogma 2 max settings w/ Ray tracing, 4k resolution at 80-90 fps
Have you tried reinstalling or verifying files? Simple, but worth a try.
Same thing did you ever find a fix;
my cpu is at 70 max and gpu 80 max can't finish a dive
Does your PC shutdown or does the game crash?
It shuts down, as if I would pull the power supply

@@jolordav3219 reinstalled the game, and it stopped crashing

I tested a i5 12600k and it preformed moderatoy well, when i put in the i7 14700k, thats when i started to noticed they are using more out of use for no reason, got me to dig into the game more and honestly its jot a cooling problem, its the way the game is made, also there is a anti cheat to whit h adds more layers causing more cpu usage, cyperpunk and hogwarts legacy run great at 65 to 70 celcius
Yea I also tested an i7 14700k and running at 30-37% cpu and temps are at around 65-75.
It's just developer skill absence. Tens of thousands of new mid-high end rigs are having issues with this game.
I heard it's the high end rigs that were receiving too much power from their motherboards the other day. There's a new bios flash that forces reduced power to stop the processors working so hard. Not sure if it'll help but worth updating your bios!
