After all these years, you're still my favorite youtube -painter. No matter the skill level from beginner to competition, your techniques and approach are very down-to-earth, but also tried-and-true. Synthetics + layering on black and the results are always consistent, always amazing. Despite seeing painting techniques evolve, this approach is still the king with almost limitless potential. Mad respect.
I love the phrase "tippy tips". I'm just imagining two demons getting together and one being all like "Gorgoth the Ravager, I love what you've done with your horns!" and the other being all like "Thank you, Xandriel the Despoiler. I have a guy. He's just magic with the tippy tips!".
I was very unsure about the Blue/Purple armour against the red skin, it all seemed so garish but damn if I wasn't proven wrong, the metalwork and washes mute it down perfectly and really tie it all in, it's almost got a Warhammer 40k Nightlords vibe.
