I love how this converted Angron looks, though as a World Eaters fan I'm obligated to suggest for anyone following the build to dye the resin red so it's a blood ocean for Khorn
I did toy with the idea of an ocean of blood, but blood is incredibly thick! It would just be a solid red blob and it would be so difficult to sell! I did however want a tonne of blood running down the rock face and bleeding into the ocean, but I just wasn't confident enough that I'd pull it off successfully...
@@NuHue Either way I think you did Angron proud... if Angron could feel any other emotion other than burning rage that is
@@alienstar2088 thank you Ion! Let's see what else we make for the world Eaters. Maybe they will get their own ocean of blood!
This one isn’t an ocean of blood, *yet*
@@tomgeytenbeek2207 :O
The blood god would be so proud! This is exactly the kind of love Angron deserved. Looking forward to whatever creations you come out with next!!
I could of added a bite more blood and gore, but let's just assume Angron took a wash before this scene. But thank you! Very glad you enjoyed the show. Let's see what we work on next!
When NuHue drops a video, you drop whatever you were doing and watch it.
i was even asleep. this video came in my dreams. i needed to watch this ASAP. sleep is for the WEAK
Please ensure all food is cooked, the kitchen is cleaned BEFORE you sit to enjoy NuHue, you may invoke the wrath of your household!
Very happy you enjoyed the show Mighty.
We do work on making people's dreams come true!
Glad you enjoyed the show.
This conversion is a work of art, respecting and exalting the lore of primacy.
Thank you David! Glad you enjoyed the show!
i always thought why he didnt get horns, that looked kinda weird. But this model is way cooler, the best kitbash i have seen.
I did think the same to, where are the horns!?!? His profile demanded it and we delivered.
Yeah, it's criminal that your channel isn't way bigger. This was great.
I think this is my favorite angron paint job Ive seen yet. I love how you did the armor and including the World Eaters' old blue into it. Amazing job
Thank you Mitchell! Happy to see you like the paint job. Hope you enjoyed the show.
It honestly is such a breath of fresh air seeing this. It's so unlike the usual angron paint jobs/conversions and looks absolutely stunning
Thank you! Very nice to read! Hope you enjoyed the show.
Wow. Stumbled upon this video while scrolling through the homepage and boy am I happy I clicked on it. Beautiful paint job, by far the best Angron I've ever seen. Excellent work, I'm blown away by how awesome this mini looks. I definitely will look into using oils more often if they yield results even half as good as this on skin and metallics.
this is the best conversion I have seen in years. and also the best angron paintjob. exactly the colors i wound have chosen for the skin!
Truly love the techniques used on this model. Absolutely a fan of the way the skin looks with oils for shading and how the armour turned out. Will absolutely be trying something similar with my own red Angron.
i love the base angron model... but i feel like yours is much closer to the spirit of the character. i wish he had looked more scorpion-like, given khorne's attachment to that particular creature...
Angron needed a much bigger base! The one he came with is just too small! I'm glad you liked this base. I like that idea, he should of been more like a scorpion, it would work nicely.
Fantastic conversion. The vid looks amazing in 4K. The detail on your work leaps off the screen. Bravo!
Thank you David!! Very glad to see such a comment, I was concerned about the quality! Appreciate your comment.
I really did hate how they just turned him into a generic bloodthirster with some head cables, this is much better.
I didn't like the idea of Angron just being a larger bloodthirster... So I had to make him unique!
Oh yeah!!!!! Absolutely incredible! Your videos are on a completely new league compared to anyone else. I love it!
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed the show! More is on the way!
Amazing work! Can't wait to see your future videos!
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the show.
this was very well done and i can tell as an artist myself, you really know what your doing when it comes to painting and the tools you use.
dont listen to people saying "WHERE IS THE BLOOD AND RED" he doesnt need it. you made him with the idea of the blue and white of the world eaters at the time. very well done man!
Amazing video! Such an awesome result, I love it a lot
Thank you Diablo! I hope you enjoyed the show!
Mindblowing!
Thank you Cheese! Hope you enjoyed the show!
Amazing rendition - love the build and interesting way to visualise the blood god!
This was the best video I've seen of its kind. Your smooth painting techniques and blends with some comedic humour thrown in too.. Subbed! Would love to see some more Primarch's
this is incredible. So much inspiration in just a single video. I really wanna get back to painting and crafting now haha.
Oh my 😍 beautiful!!
Thank you Fishhook! Glad you enjoyed the show!
Always pleasantly surprised when I see people using oils. Alizarin Crimson is such a beautiful red shade. I really love myself a pale skin Demon. Good job with the new face and spikes. He's looking less cartoony and very angry.
It is my absolute go to red! I've never had such an intense pigment to play with until I started using Alizarin Crimson. Oils are my go to for everything, they are incredible.
Thank you for the comment! I greatly appreciate it.
Loved it. Amazing job
absolutely amazing, I have no words
Thank you Hav! I hope you enjoyed the show!
That's a very very high lvl Angry Ron right there.
Amazing painting
Looks dope! Nice job.
Thank you Ronald! Glad you enjoyed the show!
That head is superb!
Thank you Carlos! Hope you enjoyed the show.
once again, well done!
Thank you Garrett! I hope you enjoyed the show!
Absolutely fantastic conversion and video. Great explanations as well, genuinely feel like I learned a lot from this. It’s a tragedy I hadn’t found this channel earlier in my painting journey!
Thank you George! Really appreciate this comment. Glad you found us in the end, there's plenty more to come!
"No swords" hahahaa that cut was great. had to rewatch it to spot the sleight of hands style. Very good! Nice video.
*slap* no swords!
It took a while to get it lined up!
I'm glad you liked that scene!! Spent more time than I should of to pull it off!
Wonderful use of solvent based paint.
Loved this video. Great editing, great work, great conversion. Gained a subscriber
Thank you Alessandro! I'm glad you found us. Hope you enjoyed the show.
My mans really just converted Angron into Diablo.
Damn it you beat me to it.
Got that Diablo vibe at the right time!!!! I was also inspired by a balroc too! But watch out for Diablo 5... Angron's comin'
Haha! They are quick on this one!
This is so different to the Angron I always envision and I have to say I love it! Awesome work and a well deserved new sub!
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the show!
Excellent video man!!!!
Thank you Dcyork! I hope you enjoyed the show!
Well done! That looks awesome!
Holy shit, the conversion, the paintjob, the tutorial, the video quality, everything's just top notch!
Thank you Lukas! Glad you found us! Hope you enjoyed the show.
dang that looks amazing!!!
Wow really inspiring!
Thank you!! Hope you enjoyed the show.
I think the only thing that lets it down, for me, are the visible seams on the final reveal. The rest of the process is top notch, and it's a fantastic result
The connection points? Yeah I could of spent more time back filling them... Complete oversight on my side.
Love how you used the oil colors for the skin! Otherwise - excellent job!
Thank you! Glad to see you enjoyed the show.
Am i the only one sitting here feeling like there is a distinct lack of blood and red on this? You know, Angron, the Daemon Primarch of Khorne? I love the conversion work you did and i love the painting and the overall feel of the model. I am just... confused with some of the choices.
He's not rocking the vivid red of Berserkers, he's ferally coiled and ready to leap out to attack someone... while staring out over an ocean.. and the ocean is not one of blood. It feels like Angron if he were Undivided rather than the chosen primarch of the blood good.
He's also... criminally lacking in blood spatter. : P
Either way, absolutely love your work. Hope you keep up the good effort and continue doing what you do!
yeah spot on
Thank you @Kain! Well hopefully I can address some of these points because you make a good argument!
With the colour of red, I really didn't want to over power the model in this colour, it's cliche of khorne and there are other ways to signify anger and rage without just showering the model in a red colour! (I blame GW for indoctrinating this in khorne!)
I did think of painting the armour red, but if you look at any reference photos of Angron pre daemonhood, he's rocking that sweet brass and gold armour, head to toe! And I really enjoyed that look, as with the skin, I then didn't want the skin colour just to be purely red, because the major surface areas of this model are the armour and the skin... So putting two colours which are on the warmer side of tones just washes the model out. For this reason I wanted to introduce a more cooler colour to compensate alongside the warm brass colour of the armour. I could of gone for a more blue-ish skin but I settled on white, while then reintroducing those red subtle tones onto the skin. Even with some of the pre daemon references, angron was somewhat more plainly toned in his skin complexion.
Plus if you look at the world Eaters original scheme, they rocked white and blue! So it's still not too far off from that era (which I prefer!)
Khorne is much more than just anger, rage and ARRUUGHHH!!! Red! So I wanted to embody that this model, especially Khorne can be and is so much more than just those.
For the base, the idea is to keep the theme for the other models made as he is part of an entire army after all! And the ocean, I did toy with the idea of a blood ocean, buuuuuuttt again, it's just... Red? There's no real reason for an entire ocean to be red, I did however want to streak a tonne of blood down the base and bleeding into the ocean! But I wasn't confident enough that I'd successfully pull it off. So as for the decision of the ocean, well when I'm angry, starring off into the ocean does help sooth the soul!
The way I've done the pose is he's angry and raged that whatever he chased has got away, so he's left looking at the distance for what has just fled. (maybe another Primarch?)
For the blood, I didn't want to distract from the model, I did want to string blood all over the hands but again I didn't want to distract too much into the gore. The king and star of the show is Angron himself!
As with your comments of the chosen, Khorne may of chosen him but Angron certainly did not! So I really wanted to just capture that caged gladiator he once was.
But I'm glad you enjoyed the show! I appreciate your comments alot!
@@NuHue Ah, so i understand your choices now, though i do have some things to point out. Keep in mind that I am not trying to dump on the model or you, their very high quallity. : p
1. The skin I am completely fine with as I do like the idea of him retaining the skin color of his former self, it helps sell that he was not always a daemon.
2. I did forget that his armor was all Brass while as a normal primarch, though i would also like to point out that he is not wearing his old armor, or if he is it has been affected by the warp. Perhaps if the brass color you used were more warm and reddish/brown in tone it would have aleviated my concerns. As yours seems to have come off as yellower than what he is normally depicted as wearing.
3. I do like the idea of the overlooking the ocean bit. Though that would indicate that his enemy used a boat or perhaps a transport aircraft. Either way, i feel like this ironically plays into the idea that Angron is a failure and not top dog. He could not conquer his homeworld, and here he could not catch any of his prey as they left.
4. This technically continues on from point 3. But considering that Angron cant just show up on any world, and the world has to be sufficiently screwed up, war torn, bloodied, and the veil between the material and warp must be thinned quite a bit he wouls most likely come out in the thick of it. The base suggests him having left the battlefield to chase, but not only that, how clean he is and the fact there are no corpses on the base suggest that he hasnt done anything since arriving on world. His prey all escaped and none were caught beforehand, he has not cristened his claws, maw, spikes, or axe with blood. He has clearly failed.
5. I am over analyzing all of this, while on my phone waiting to hop on the bus and head to work. You dont need to take me seriously, i just like to over analyze. Its just my personal opinion that models of this nature should pay homage to the clear metal head origins of khorne and the scene should look as though it would not be out of place on a metal album cover. Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne, Maim, Kill, Burn! : p
Thank you for replying to me, I appreciate it immensely even though i feel like im coming off as being too picky or rude. Hope your channel grows bigger man!
just be happy that hes not wearing a yellow pokka dot bikini to the beach

Looks like a futuristic Diablo XD Great work !
Great build and paint job, learnt some new things to try with oils.
Only negitive was didn't like the waves by the cliff, but rest of the sea was awesome 👍🏼👍🏼
This is probably the best angron I've seen so far, good job mate
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed the show.
Great style, and content, annoyed UA-cam hasn't thrown up your channel in rotation before, brilliant work!
Found this chanel today and love your work. I would love to see you kitbash primarchs that don’t have an official plastic model or continue remaking primarchs and make it a series.
Thank you! I am planning on doing more Primarchs, the next one I'd like to kitbash a new Primarch (one of the missing) and I do plan on doing an unreleased Primarch too!
I’m watching you do it and I still have no idea how you did it. Incredible job
Thank you! Sometimes you just got to get stuck in! Glad you liked it.

That is noice. I'm getting into working with 3d Resin printed statues. 😎
Awesome!!! My first was an anycubic photon, but now I have a 4k printer, makes a big difference in quality!
That paint Scheme is amazing on Angron, so much great work and detailing. Gives me an idea, to make an ocean of blood on mine xD
Holy shit, this is amazing. It would be awesome to see a loyalist primarch conversion from you, or maybe you could make a custom Lorgar daemon prince!
Thank you! We do have another Primarch in the works!
Hope you enjoyed the show.
Alternative title: The Angry Man and the Sea, by NuHue Kitbashway
That's a brilliant title!!!
Very impressive and informative on why you do certain things in certain way, not many miniature painters explain things the way you do.
Also that custom head is amazing. The only flaw is those horns pointing backwards, with clean cuts. Was expecting you to glue sharp tips at some point.
thats epic! he reminds me slightly of diablo , really epic work , also nice base
Thank you! Diablo and the Balroc were inspirations to this build. I also wanted him to be more closer to his gladiator past. Hope you enjoyed the show!
Holy sh!/, that is amazing

That's a good Angry Ron 👌
all very nice

Angron really wants a swim.
Epic!

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering where all the red is
This is fantastic! I'd love to see you give Mortarion or Magnus the same treatment!
MY GOD! That conversion is beautiful, altho I would have kept the wings since I love my demons with wings but that is just me...
*slap* no wings!
If Angron was more slender, I'd be all for the wings! But he's has just too much mass! He's an insane muscle giant! Maybe I should have given him a jump pack instead!
angron has always been my fav Demon Primarch but i hate this model until i saw this dont think id do it the same but really gives me a lot of ideas
A lot of people give Angron alot of grief but I like him! A very unfortunate story. I always wanted to capture that gladiator vibe more than the daemon vibe!
bro just wanted to make diablo in 40k and did it
Diablo 5, buckle up! He's coming in hot!
Best angron ever
i was thinking about this kind of skin style but, im happy i choose red.
I like the lore accurate attachment of the butchers nails:

Blue-tac! I instead clumped the liquid mask into a ball and it did work great! I'm assuming it's probably just the same thing? I'll try blue-tac next time!

Thank you Lark! Well thats why we are here! To find ways to make things better for us... It's our hobby after all!
The model looks stunning, but I do believe you could have put the swordblade (or a smaller sword)on the tail tip
It's amazing!
Something I would've done though, instead of using his bare hands to still use at least one of the weapons but broken apart. As he no longer cares for his weapons and fights with them no different than a monkey with a stick. Like the chainaxe having it's chain all over, the pole being bent and cracking etc.
Man I’d love access to the hands and the head bits they would be really cool for kabanda
I see him as a future Balrog the more he keep respawning from the warp
every respawn, just more features start to devolve!! That would be an awesome idea
this looks amazing, I've been looking to do my own version of this. Are you selling the Stl of the hands and head?

Great video man, I appreciate how much work not only goes into the models but explaining your action in a coherent way must be a challenge within it's self! Keep up the good work
Also which brushes do u use ? They seem alot stiffer than the army.painter ones I use

GW's Angron looks so generic Khorne daemon, so this is great
It was slightly generic... Still a great model!! But it did need that little touch. The head really makes it.
