Best purchase was a guitar purchased at age 60 during lockdown - and challenging my self to learn 100 songs - today age almost 63 I am up to 231 songs learned and I own 4 guitars - it has been great for my mental health and relaxation - this has helped my coaching career and gives me clarity - I agree financial goals are important but so are artistic ones - it speaks to life experiences and joy
I always wanted a wardrobe full of beautiful dresses. Now I have that, as I allowed myself to buy a heap of them last year, and I'm so grateful. They make me feel so feminine and beautiful and my confidence in myself has shot through the roof.
Probably the biggest investment in my life has been in my life experiences in travelling and living abroad. I also purchased a home a couple years ago, which I am grateful for.
The fact that you pack so much value in your videos, and yet they're less than 10 minutes long, got me to subscribe! I love the contents and energy in your videos!
@@EluQmiNeX ha. I have no issue with ads even if her videos were longer. The difference is the value she has in such short videos. I've seen other folks post 15+ minutes and at the end of it you ask yourself whether you learned something from that lengthy video. Some will make it long with no valid points or takeaways just for the ads. Nischa’s is short and valuable even if it has ads. 😊
My best purchase that changed my life is buying English class courses in English speaking country, instead of purchasing car, now I’m able to enjoy your channel and learn something new from you.
I was a musician who ran a tiny record company (yes, that dates me), and when it failed fell into a grim stretch of salaried work, mostly finance. Fascinating travel and excitement, moved cities every 3-4 years around the US and Asia, then just about died in hospital 4 years ago. Strangely, it more confirmed my preferences than upended them. The one thing that has always been with me? A vintage guitar. It is expression, creation, motivation, solace, a social tool, and a thing of beauty. That, and a small zen library, and I'm set.
The biggest purchase wasn't actualy the biggest, but it definitely was the most valueble. 2 years ago i started therapy and that helped me explain some things that were coming from my past or better said from my family and extended family past. All in all i become more efficient, i reduced stress and i'm more relaxed when it comes to be a parent or a better parent, i don't put so much presure on me. I changed my work aproach and i try to invest in me as much as i can( food, healthy lifestyle, sport, meditation, books, and last but not the least quality videos, podcasts, documentaries). Thank you for inspiring me 🤗🙏✨
The greatest impact of my life is not a purchase, but a question to meditate on: When I reach the end of my life, will I be satisfied with what and who I have lived for? Will I fear death, or embrace it ? I almost died at twenty in an accident, and let me tell you, you will want the comfort of knowing God far more than anything else! Jesus came to me in my hospital room and revealed himself to me! It changed everything about how I live now. Don’t just invest in this life, but in the eternal one!
I bought a really expensive but high quality Microsoft laptop in high school and it has proved to be a great investment! I'm almost finishing university and I've had 0 computer issues along the way. It's going 7 years strong! The screen is touchscreen and detachable which I love for doing my readings and it's just a really powerful device. It was $2,500 but I can't imagine life without it
Outsourcing food delivery has been worth every penny for me. It's helped me to eat more regularly, do less impulse purchases and saved so much time. Definitely worth the money.
Wow, the part in education where we spend more time trying to get good grades rather than actually understanding what we are being taught, is so true. I can relate. This is a great video. Thanks for sharing!
Up top on the "education" chapter. I'm an alumn of KCL for Msc Management (2yrs back or more now) but I've started to truly LEARN once my school days were over. The pressure that school puts on you is insane and in that moment when you're trying to juggle many other things all you care about is good grades which as you said impact your actual true learning mindset.
For me the biggest and most important purchase is going abroad to pursue my Master’s in the US. The number of opportunities which are open to proactive and ambitious students are countless. Thank you for the great video! I agree with every mentioned point.
Skateboard wasn't my biggest purchase but it was by far my best. You learn a lot about yourself and how everything takes work and repetitive training to learn, you can't bs in skateboarding. Others know if you can skate in a few seconds of seeing you on the board, you have to have integrity and everyone is welcome to skateboarding no matter your colour, sex, upbringing, amount of money you have. It's everything to me.
during the lockdown i splurged and bought a digital piano, dusted off my old piano books (and cobwebs between my fingers) and started playing again. Its been the best.
My best purchase was a 7 night Greek isles cruise because it inspired me to broaden my horizons to start studying travel & Tourism because one day I do want to become a cruise director or work in Sure excursions. After getting my level 5 diploma in travel & tourism I found myself studying event management that can take me down Multiple Career paths
Best purchase was a Parallel Bar fitness tool. I have a small rental and it takes up the space in the middle of room, which gets me to exercise almost every day and improving my health significantly over the months
Great vid! Thx for sharing. My best purchase would be the Nutrition Diploma course I purchased several years ago. I have 3 non negotiables, Managing SLEEP, DIET and Minimizing STRESS. Without health the rest means nothing. Keep these 3 in check and you will notice an improvement in cognitive function, mental clarity and overall energy, which in turn can help you in all other areas.
Helping others is the most important thing you can offer during your life. I remember when my dad told me how hard my grandfather worked and when he passed away he cried saying his biggest regret was working all his life and not spending more time with his children and grandchildren.
Wow ! Love the video. I am much older than you are and to hear what you are doing makes me realize that i did not consider any of these things in my younger years. But that doesn’t stop me from changing things now. Thank you!
Just wanted to express my gratitude for your videos. I love how the information is structured, how destruction free your content is both verbally and visually.
Interestly my ninja blender, bought several years ago, ranks very highly. I use it every other morning to create a high energy smoothie (ginger, turmeric, banana, pear and coconut water and a spoon of peanut butter belended to perfection).
Renting an office space to design in, rather than in my home. Separating the division of work and play has been a massive improvement to my daily happiness.
Books have been the best purchases I've made so far! They have been instrumental to my growth and have exposed me to worlds beyond my imagination! I love this video. Thank you so much for consistently uploading valuable contents
You have to curate your life in a way that is the most efficient for you, little changes here and there, set your life up like it is a computer game and make it as seamless as possible, knowing what you're doing tomorrow and having it planned out is crucial, and then have the discipline to follow through, hard tasks in the morning so you can relax as the day goes on, attack, attack, attack, then chill :)
I would say 2 best purchases come to mind. The first best purchase was my camera gear. My professional photography business is now my highest income stream and allows for flexibility and increased time to study; whilst I'm studying for my second degree. The 1st degree was in Business Management, the current being in Chemical Engineering. The business has introduced me to extremely successful entrepreneurs (I mostly shoot commercially for businesses), and working hand-in-hand with them has been invaluable to my entrepreneurial journey. The second best purchase would be my PS4 Pro/4K TV combo. Over the years it has allowed me to unwind, perfect for gaming, movies, and even studying/learning (connected to my computer).
By far the best thing I bought last year is 2 lights that allow me to film videos in the gloomy winter weather. It really broke down the barrier of me having to wait to film until it was a nice day out. And even after work when it’s dark out I can just film a video now which is great :)
The best thing I bought is Yuval Noah Harari's books. I read Homo Sapien, Homo Deus and 21 Lessons for the 21st Century during my time serving in military. At first when I purchased those books, I just want to know about humanity history, about our society where it's heading to. But surprisingly, beside those knowledges, somehow I changed my point of view on many aspect of life. I no longer worry about what others think of me because not anyone can make important impact to my life. I understand failure isn't scary at all because we are not perfect and we're bound to make mistakes one way or another.

The best investment I have ever bought was my dog and cat! We use them as an excuse not to stay out longer therefore having less drinks and spending much less money when out with friends. They have made us enjoy being at home much more and made us healthier by going on walks and waking up earlier to start our day making us more productive.
Your point around the “black top” and removing friction to actions resonated with me. The sub conscious decision making process behind taking action is something that is not spoken about enough. Another great video - keep them coming!
Getting a PC was the best purchase I’ve made. I’ve become a software developer probably because of it. It was staring at me everyday being in my room so it still gets used daily to learn. And I think this made a direct impact on my earning potential.
Bless you! You are such a breeze! I love how you stressed, in an earlier video, the importance of getting a formal education for a stable job, to start with. Not all finance people promote this notion. And, yes, continuous learning is a huge investment for my wellbeing now being in my 50s with a very good stable job. Also, as a minimalist, I very much appreciate spending money on experiences rather than objects (stuff). Much love and respect from Canada
Thank you so much Nischa. I am 52 years old woman who grown in USSR. I did not have much knowledge about investments and pension in UK. You inspired me and I learned from you a lot. Now I have opened personal pension and started to contribute. I also start my investment journey. Better late than never :) Could you please do more videos about investment. What is important to know. Kind of a few steps guide. Maybe a few videos. Thank you very much in advance. My best purchase was my second education in London. xxx
My Ipad Pro. My university grades rapidly took off after I bought this device as I am not much of a library person. I started reading more, working more often on my things and also watching netflix more.
Hey Nischa, your videos are very insightful and inspiring :) Are you able to share which courses you have found the most useful? And/or which books have helped you to better understand the sector you work in?
A pair of reliable walking shoes. As a thinker I walk a lot and the best ideas come to me while walking. A snug, stable and lightweight pair of shoes is as great a tool as the finest fountain pen for when ideas crystalize and are ready to be put on paper. Abundance comes in so many ways, if we care to notice.
I joined a real estate investing group which I paid for, but it was the best money I spent. I’ve learned so much and I’ve met new people and new strategies networking that’s what it’s all about.
My best "purchase"... take a summer course abroad (each year).. to learn outside your usual zone provides a diverse, besides, a multicultural perspective, and it gives ssoooo much new to my life... it is done during vacation season for at the most 2 weeks.. Thank you @Nischa.. I really like your videos!..
I have made a few of these types of purchases before but your video encourages me to be more intentional about it...especially the life experiences bit. BTW I'm a huge new fan of your channel. I found your videos recently in a time where I've gone through a massive change in my life and I am on the same journey as you and I'm following your channel on my way to being financially free as soon as possible. You really explain things well and also focus on one's wellbeing which is awesome.
It doesn't matter whether you want to start your own business, get a promotion, or simply improve your life, it all starts with one thing. Hard work. I encourage you to work harder than anyone else.
Those are some great Christmas gift ideas. Three for sure I'm getting for ppl, The book, journal, and whiteboard. Even if they don't use them i bet they will not quickly throw them away, the seed is planted for enrichment. Enrichment gifts are the best because ppl look at you for months with a smile. Also, the whiteboard is an interesting gift because it requires creativity and rearranging for placement, its essentially a piece of furniture. Thank You Nischa!
When I moved into my flat I needed a bunch of furniture, and a dishwasher was lower on my list.. Now, I'd rather sleep on the floor, than live without a dishwasher
Sometimes we stumble upon channels by chance because our luck guides us that way. This is one of those channels that I really admire and is extremely helpful ❤
Love this video - such effective tips which are easy to implement! I bought 5 black tops at the start of the pandemic which saves me so much time when getting ready for my WFH days. Removes decision fatigue! xx
My best purchase that adds immense value to my life was my Bosch dishwasher. I've never bought a high end appliance but it has been worth every penny. A year and a half later it cleans my dishes perfectly and saves me so much time with having a family of 4 and 2 teenagers
The best money I have spent has been paying for private lessons to learn something I have been wanting to learn for most of my adult life. I'm halfway through The Midnight Library, what a coincidence :)
Buying my house on limited wages 18 years ago and I've almost paid it off and on the theme of guitars from the previous post, learning to play a few songs when my dad died in 97.
Going back to what truly matters... wonderful wisdom Nischa! Sharing what you purchase and why can really help a lot of people out there who try to spend less. Thank you
Love your mindfulness and kindness. Thanks for carving out the time! Best purchase 2 things dog, detox retreat - Gulturkbuku Bodrum. Both make me happy and healthy. ❤❤❤
What I miss often miss is saving up for ‘vacation’. Discussion tend to lean to 3 items. Save Money, Spend less or how to enrich yourself. The word ‘saving’ for many might be confussing as in savings for far later (pension), saving up for your next holiday, or have save money as in paying off debt. In our household our year goal is 2 two weeks holidays yearly, in or outside Europe and a handful of weekends away, citytrips or Disney. So almost 15% of both salary we save up for that but also save up for later and unexpected occurances. Vacation for the onces who can effort or want to prioritze this is an enrichment. I do feel many financial advisors have a hard time spending lots on the happy moments such as holiday and travelling all out, as travelling is expensive. Me coming from the vacation branch always find the controllers sitting on a campsite, partially sitting on their money, having a good time though BUT and from administration departments travel properly, to California, Aruba, enjoying Spain, Italy. Going all out. Perhaps a tad too much but an extra zero on your bankaccount gives you less joy compared to a nice vacation trip. Just watch your photos / photobooks. No bankstatements. But holiday destinations…
The best item I purchased was a mini piano, which was the start of transforming my hobby into a career and what led to me being able to watch YT videos about life coaching all day 🤪
Love your channel, I turned 28 today and almost graduated college. (very old yes) I have only debts right now so I am using your tips as best as I can to catch up time and money.. Thank you Nischa!
My best purchase - probably my dog 🐶😍. I’m a big fan of learning and education - would be great to have a video on the kinds of courses you’ve done and what you’d recommend :)
I hated cleaning and cooking until 2020. I now enjoy to cook and clean as I am still working from home 3 out of 5 days in a week. One of my VPs, cleans his house when he is stressed. I do the same now. You can be in your own thoughts while cooking and cleaning, you get some exercise when you are cleaning, and you also end up living a clean and healthy life. The best things that I have bought for myself are my laptop and eReader.
I think one of the best purchases I have ever made was buying my hair clippers. I often cut my hair at least twice a month and barbershops are not cheap. I started cutting my hair in 2020 and it saved me a ton of money and time.
Hi Nischa, I just stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago, and I really enjoy your videos. You have so much educated good sense! The best purchase I ever made was a really good quality laptop. It has lasted me for 13 years, and the sheer joy of handling it enabled me to work very happily, effectively and creatively as Chair of a local charity. I have a couple of questions for you, about journalling: Ive been writing in a journal since I was a child of 10 (I’m now 60). In my 20s I destroyed all my child and teen writings, and started again. I’ve still got everything from that time - but I don’t know what to do with it. I’m torn between regretting destroying my early journals, and seriously considering doing the same thing again!! So, what do you do with your old journals, and why? The second question is, with so many electronic journaling apps and possibilities out there, what’s your reason for choosing a physical journal? Thanks again for the great videos. 😊
Ah keep the old journals you won't regret it! I'm quite traditional/old school so I love writing things down physically (not to forget all the evidence to back why it's important!)
Can someone explain what lead measures means for a non native? I don't really understand what you do concrete. Do you mean explicit steps you need to take for your goals and you're updating them each week?
@diary: I learned journaling as child as holiday diary, but used it much later in life with my first job as an engineer in a research lab and in software development department where I used a free form hand written notebook and parallel to that for computer context specific digital diary (log book). I worked so long on 102 keyboards that I'm using paper notes only for free hand scetching for pre-note-taking when no computer is switched on but normally type it later (I write with 10 finger on keyboards) in a better usable or shareable digital form.
Audible subscription ( 12 months+ have been with Audible and love it) PT sessions ( very expensive, but worth it) Occasional brunch with my husband. We both LOVE them.
Incredible tips. A whiteboard I do need to invest. My sister has it in her room, and I was like that's a great shout. Two incredible books I've read, especially the midnight library. Ironically I was geeking out and recommending too. Keep being amazing and sharing knowledge. #Thingsofthatnature 🙏🏾
I bought two second hand fold up bicycles for myself and my partner and we have had such fun. It is the simple things in life that gives much pleasure 😊
Hi Nischa. I was really interested in downloading your budget template but the link didn’t work. Do you have an update on this? I think it would be super helpful to your followers. Thanks for all you do!
I found what made me happier wasn’t always good for me. What worked was fearing, loving, and obeying God and His commandments aka His Word aka the Bible from Old to New Testament with no additional false books.
I have a few but a container of white play dough for .50 cents I bought with my niece we played with for a hour or so then decided to make heart shaped trinkets which we baked then painted and we’re giving them away for Valentine’s Day and extra groceries to make lunch bags which was handed to those without a home and food I see I didn’t understand the assignment those were my most recent rewarding purchases ig my biggest would be a car which I saved an insane amount of money on and was fortunate to pay it off in two years
Hi Nischa, I love your channel a lot! You're such an inspiring person! Keep it up! I'd like to know what courses you have taken so far as you mentioned in your video. It'd be really great to know what impacted you in a certain way aside from the books. Thanks and take care!

The biggest investment I have made and that changed my life tremendously was the purchase of my home. Very grateful for it.
This is outdated. You can work hard as a janitor but your pay won't increase. It's about working smarter.
This works if you work smarter too, otherwise you're just grinding your wheels
Sorry, off topic, but where is your turtleneck from? I love it!
Removes decision fatigue! xx
Fully agree - such a simple but effective purchase!
@@nischa where did you find your top that you’re wearing in the video? Many thanks, Jessica
Thank you
What I love the most is the whiteboard part! The cheapest item I bought that makes a huge difference in my life! I love your content! 😊
6:52 "Forget the goal"....NEVER FORGET THE GOAL!....maybe write it at the top of the white board and leave it there until its achieved.
yesss write it at the top!
I still have my iPhone 10. : ) I purchased an EBike and it is awesome. Going on long bike rides and exploring new places is fun and a stress relief.
Can I please ask where you purchase your black tops? Such a simple tip but I think it will massively improve my productivity!
Journalling has been a game-changer for me as well
Some of my best, creative, valuable thinking is done riding a quality bicycle. Highly recommended.
Doing a stint working in custody has had a positive impact on my life. Learning how to deal w bad situations.
The best item I purchased was a mini piano, which was the start of transforming my hobby into a career and what led to me being able to watch YT videos about life coaching all day 🤪
Hello from USA. You are genuinely amazing.
I keep tablets, laptops, smartphones, etc, as long as they do what I need.
simple is often best.
I just found this channel jumped out of the UA-cam feed and can't stop watching. I love your content and find it very useful. Thank you 🙏
I think one of the best purchases I have ever made was buying my hair clippers. I often cut my hair at least twice a month and barbershops are not cheap. I started cutting my hair in 2020 and it saved me a ton of money and time.
Totally agree bought a WAHL hair kit for $14 ... Cheers!
@@nischa Thank you for your reply 😊
Writing my weekly lookahead plan. Thanks for sharing your insights.
Finished The Midnight Library last week. truly a masterpiece!
Best thing I ever purchased was English language course. So no I can enjoy watching ur videos and learning new stuff 😊
Hey Nischa, love your videos, what journal/diary are you using? can you recommend any good ones?
Recently found your page and videos!! I love how relatable they are. Very informative without being overwhelming. Thank you!
I really love your video production its so blissful to watch the simple clear frame and hear collected thoughts of yours.
Absolutely love your videos. Truly short and straight to the point.
Audible subscription ( 12 months+ have been with Audible and love it)
PT sessions ( very expensive, but worth it)
Occasional brunch with my husband. We both LOVE them.
Love your videos! Can you please share where you get your black tops from? I’m from the US and have a hard time finding quality basics sometimes!
The one I'm wearing is from Zara but olddd
DO A VIDEO ON THE UK COST OF LIVING SURVIVAL GUIDE
What is the name of your journal and where do you order that?
I'm looking for that also.
Thank you! You are amazing! I'm in a weird time in my life and your channel is exactly what I need.
Hello Nischa, Finding your videos has truly enriched my Life in your vibrant ways about you.
Wishing you another Best Day Ever.

I bought two second hand fold up bicycles for myself and my partner and we have had such fun. It is the simple things in life that gives much pleasure 😊
Excellent video, I do a lot of these and they help out a lot. Trying to get more into outsourcing and delegating.
Hi Nischa. I was really interested in downloading your budget template but the link didn’t work. Do you have an update on this? I think it would be super helpful to your followers. Thanks for all you do!
Love your videos. Definitely the best way to spend cellphone time meaningfully. 🙂
I found what made me happier wasn’t always good for me. What worked was fearing, loving, and obeying God and His commandments aka His Word aka the Bible from Old to New Testament with no additional false books.
I have a few but a container of white play dough for .50 cents I bought with my niece we played with for a hour or so then decided to make heart shaped trinkets which we baked then painted and we’re giving them away for Valentine’s Day and extra groceries to make lunch bags which was handed to those without a home and food
I see I didn’t understand the assignment those were my most recent rewarding purchases ig my biggest would be a car which I saved an insane amount of money on and was fortunate to pay it off in two years
Please could you make a video on etfs and stock shares for beginners
Right mattress, good shoes
Hi Nischa, I love your channel a lot! You're such an inspiring person! Keep it up! I'd like to know what courses you have taken so far as you mentioned in your video. It'd be really great to know what impacted you in a certain way aside from the books. Thanks and take care!
