Hello Nischa thanks for this insightful video. The one thing that I would upgrade in the future from your list is the Nespresso machine. That IS a loss leader business model which is why 1) The machine is so cheap and 2) They give you free pods precisely to get you in the habit. You’ll be much better off getting a real coffee machine and grinding your own beans. Not only will you save so much more money, you’ll have access to a humongous variety, plus get so much more value per cup as each pod is just a paltry 5g of grind. With amazing quality coffee about $15 per 500g bag, you’ll get it back in no time. Plus, you’re not killing the environment with so much waste.

Hate getting up? Cause: Caffeine can make you overwork and can ruin your deep sleep even if you do sleep and you end up needing antidepressants and therapy. Avoid addictions even if minor and legal. I've always worked in the building trade and have always lived by looking after my hands and feet, as they're the 2 main things i can never replace. decent work boots, gloves and any tool that helps make the job easier or more efficient. Also never buy the cheapest version of something - buy cheap, buy twice.
Hi Nischa, I just want to say thanks for your finance tracker. My husband is usually the spreadsheet one in our relationship, so it makes a nice difference for me to be loving the spreadsheets for a change! Lia x
Tip: Review your current items more often! You'll be amazed how quickly things get SO much better since the last time you purchased it. Rain jackets, running shoes, phones, water bottles, cameras... often you'll pay the same as you did before for something, and it will be infinitely better. Technologies advance fast.
I like the sound of this, but I could also see it becoming a slippery slope for overconsumption. Every year companies tell us that they’ve created something better than last year’s model of the same thing.
I'd say only think about upgrading once your items don't serve their purpose properly anymore. E.g. slow tech is a huge annoyance so it's worth the upgrade. However you don't need to buy a new phone for some new function that you've never missed.
Paying for therapy and exercise is the equivalent of the monthly electricity and water bills for me. I wish people who can afford to spend this money, could understand what an essential investment to one's self these two are.
Plus it doesn't cost much to walk which is great medicine. Getting a little rescue dog who loves his walks made it impossible for me to avoid exercise and improved physical and psychic health.
Been traveling alone for a decade or so. My ex wife didn't like to travel and that was probably our undoing. When I was freed from the confines of making a living I wanted to see the world. I had already been several years in Europe, Asia and many domestic locations in the US when active duty military but I felt like I was just getting started. Anyway, post divorce I had some fun years with a sociopath. That ended about how it had to end. The last decade has been all me. I went back to Switzerland a couple of times. Spent four ski seasons in lake tahoe. Traveled extensively through California, Colorado and Utah. I'm rambling I know but the point is that traveling alone teaches you so much. You learn self reliance without a wingman in the form of a wife, husband, friend. I've had some of my best experiences and met so many interesting people whom I never would have met if I had a traveling companion. You have a lot wisdom for someone your age which I could only guess at but I think I have an idea.
I'd consider abandoning coffee for nicotine patches since nicotine doesn't interfere with sleep as much as caffeine - it's half life is a few hours whereas caffeine's can be as high as twelve. buying a nice calculator and also calendars are also great purchases.
Love a good calendar
Nah, you can create your own calender or get those massive calendars with what you need for the day and a scientific calculator from Rymans for a 20 done
wow I never thought of that reading and listening to the same book at the same time great idea.
I do the same with my Kindle, but I just borrow books/audibles from the library.
This made me so happy! Why? Because I have invested in almost all the same things and loved it.
My goal is to travel around Australia so this well received thanks. Ive been looking at getting a kindle for awhile since it is soo practical for my love of books and for travelling. Im buying my husband a coffee machine for Christmas to save the money from his coffee habit. Im doing the rest of the points.
Its funny you mention ikigai as i only recently come across this term over the last week or so. Watched a documentary on it and very interesting Japanese concept. But perfectly wraps up what it encompasses. Thankfully i know my calling but whether im using my full potential for it is another question. Defo think its something alot of people need to consider more.
Nice work on the outsourcing, really want to do this with my YT but not got enough kickback to start that yet.
Nice ideas though, thanks for sharing.
you can listen to any kindle book for free if you have an echo dot
Why are you talking in dollars. I thought you were based in London
I was planning my first solo trip to Bali and was wondering if you could create a separate video specifically on items 6 and 7. I know your channel primarily focuses on finance, but I would also love to hear your insights on this topic.
Awesome video! Love it! Another good purchase I made was a mixer. Now I make every morning a fresh smoothie ☺️ and it’s a cheap investment ☺️ you can even use frozen fruits ☺️
Amazing! Basically your purchases were thoughtful investments that boosts your productivity and growth.
Best Regards!
Wow! I didn't notice you are up to over 600K subscribers. I discovered you when you had around 30K subs :D Congrats! And thank you for the great advices you are giving us every week :)

Hi. I have been watching your channel for some time now I truly think that every single one of your videos adds value to your audience. Way to go!
Thanks so much Nischa for all you are sharing- it is very inspiring and I love that it is so practical. I would really appreciate you sharing the harsh realities or reality people don’t talk about of owning rental properties. It seems like a ‘common’ avenue to build wealth but I’ve heard several times “it can be a headache” but that’s about it. Can you speak to your experience or what you have learned being ‘in the industry’ that would help us decide if it’s a goal worth pursuing (or not)?
Love your videos. I definitely think outsourcing is a key way to save time and money, it's just difficult to make that jump and give up control.
Hi @Nischa, let's plan a trip together. I am sure we will have a great time discovering new things and learning from each other's experience😊
Coffee wise, I have invested in a coffee beans grinder and V60 dripper and server. This way I'm getting a cafe quality coffee in the friction of the price.
This list was more potent than you intended it to be.
I learned something new, Ikigai. This will stick with me as I've already added this to my Daily Journal and shared the definition and diagram with others moments ago.
Thanks as always for your content.
❤🔥❤🔥👍👍
Thank you for sharing Ikigai and the visual diagram!
I'm American and I LOVE Your Accent and Voice. It matches your obvious Beauty. Natural Beauty.
Not sure how 6th one- solo travel increases financials.
You just need to be off from all in your own town/place, which is much much cheaper.
About kindle - I purchased a 10 inch tablet PC and use exclusively for kindle books and audible. It works best for me.
One of your best posts. Loved it the most. I have already spent far more time on earth than you and I am learning a lot from you. Getting some validations too, like in this one.
Natural
Intelligent
Strong
Charming
Honest
Angelic
not having a crush but if happens that's just Ikigai .
Like the channel, good work.
You added a new fan of yours today! 😊
I just subscribed and is loving your videos. Superb!
I was against cc with annual fee until this week. From talking to someone about cruise ship vacation I realized how much benefit and points can be get from such card and status transfer to other membership cards.
I travelled to Lanzarote by myself for a week's holiday previously & highly recommend it. Would also love to see Bali sometime. Thanks for more great content Nischa 😊
This video felt like a commercial for random products. But I still enjoy your channel
I really need to get a coffee machine. Im currently buying a coffee from the cafe at work every day and i know it is financially stupid, but just so hard to get out of the habit...
I'll be shopping for a coffee machine this evening!
I could not agree more with the sensibleness of all of your investments!
Investing in IKAGI is such a smart idea honestly
Oh yeah I get to reap the benefits of being alone 24/7. So much easier to accept yourself when you live in a vacuum.
This is one of your best videos. I like the clarity with brevity. Thanks.
Another amazing video, Nischa!!! Thanks so much for always sharing the most helpful content :)
Hi Nischa|
would you tell me about the software that you use for making up your videos! pls.
Your UA-cam content is incredibly valuable and insightful. Keep up the great work!
Loved your content, have to change our way of managing our finances.
I experienced that solo travel helps you mature and make you confident. Thanks. As usual nice video. I also like the idea of leveraging
Agreeed soll traveling is soo important for self growth
May be no one has told you but your videos are unique
Hi Nischa, thanks a lot for your advices and your UA-cam videos! They are truly outstandings and usefules
Thank you for being transparent
Can you go over leverage and who you've gone too and recommend?
Your channel really skyrocketed this year 🎉
Love this topic Nischa ❤😊
Looking into a water bed since I had a flotation treatment recently
love the vid. as an accountant in Israel one of the things i wish for is working from my laptop remotley and travel the world. mabye oneday it will happen.
thank you for sharing and keep posting.
The greatest thing of traveling is being able to share beautiful places with the people you love. I feel like it would be a waste of time because I would only be thinking on how my loved ones are missing this or that.
Everything you highlight is so, true. Thank you. Another good video
.
Mommy Nischa providing us with that unconventional wisdom yet again. LOVE IT! 💪
the only travel abroad i have done is alone its seems so normal to me
I also read my kindle and listen to the audio version! 😂 I am so glad I am not the only one ✊🏽
