None of these books give you any advice on how to actually make money. They are all just mindset books. If your looking for advice on what actions to take, then none of these books will help you. My advice is just to get out there and do what you love and get good at it. If you make it then great. If you dont then keep trying. Learn to love the process. If you love the process and enjoy the job then thats half the battle. The worlds a tough place. Life is very short and we just gotta learn to enjoy the journey. Its over before you know it.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!

My finance teacher was brilliant. Two lessons I got from him were 1. The Money you have today is worth more now, than tomorrow. With today high inflation really shows that powerfully. 2. He said in the 70's you could have paid $1,500 for a brand-new car or you could have taken that same $1,500 and invested in the car company stock and made a lot more than buying the car. He said thirty years later, the car would have been worth nothing a liablity and owning and keeping that stock would have made you a millionaire. That was so powerful.

Yes, I hear you but the stock will probably take years to increase in substantial value and there is the possibility of any stock going to ZERO. Bankruptcies happen. Zero=Do not pass Go. Do not collect. Now a car has immediate utility. It gets you from point A to point B and isn't that a good thing?

Okay so i advise you start with stocks, buy a good cross section of an economy and you should do well over the long term. The market will be high in 10 to 20 years, and significantly higher in 30. It's almost impossible for a company with no debt to go bankrupt. Canada is about 3% of the global marketplace, U.S. is about 50%, remainder on the globe is 47%. Pay yourself first. It's time in the market, not timing the market. i stay untop of the market with my FA Emily Lois Parker. Bulls and bears make money, but pigs get slaughtered. - some wise words
Thank you, this was definitely worth the read, as an Investors may avoid making decisions out of fear of regret. This can lead to inertia, where individuals hold onto cash rather than invest, fearing they will make a wrong decision.

Thanks for the video Nischa, it helped me a lot. I have left sorting my finances late in life, I'm 53! Ive no savings whatsoever which i'm embarrassed to admit. Ive worked basic low paid jobs my whole life, driving, packing shelves, etc. But only 1 year ago i studied up on plumbing and went on a few courses (i was the oldest by 20yrs!!). Its been difficult at times because ive been embarrassed, but the flip side is ive become a little more confident and more skilled. From basic changing a tap, i have recently fitted showers, fixed leaks, replaced toilets and baths. September i earned extra £300 per month thru this side hustle and i hope to increase this. I aim to spare £1000 per month to invest, so i'll be viewing a few more of your posts. Thanks again.
Never be embarrassed for improving yourself! You should be proud and hold your head high. I say this and I am 46 and probably need to take my own advice lol But I really mean it. Please pat yourself on the back for being someone that doesn't let a number (age or anything else) hold them back. Keep up the good work - keep going strong - you got this!!!!

I did read the "Think and Grow Rich" once, and then I read it again, but this time, I actually followed the instructions. It was weird because I was going "mad", and becoming obsessed with creating my own business (a bar owner) and investing in real estate. Opportunities came up that never would had cross my path until I actually did these exercises. I went to PSI Seminars which was founded by the "Think and Grow Rich" philosophy that further amplified my motives. I had more energy than I ever had before- and it was exhausting. I used these concepts with my existing $26K/ year job (this was in the 1980s). But then I "settled". With the same job, I ended making over $120K a year with bonuses upwards of $30K and with real estate investments of over $400K (again this is the late 1980s to early 1990s). Would I read this book again, yes, and indeed I do. But will I follow the crazy instructions? Maybe. Because in doing so, it really does change something fundamental in your subconscious mind that programs you in your daily life. I really don't know if I want to go "mad" again,
I read the same book, at the advice of some rich guys,. I did what the book said, and got the exact amount of money I "requested" from the universe. So it worked for me.
Congrats! But there are better metaphysical manifestation books than think and grow rich, even the secret seems outdated. If you want to achieve more focus on a 5D mindset 😘

Great video. I have read many of those books but I must say, you "can't" skip the mindset books like Think and Grow Rich because the mindset and understanding IS where it all starts to get where you want to end up. I know from experience. Those books changed my outlook and understanding.

Just realize that Think and Grow Rich is a fictional story. Nap Hill never met Carnegie. He made up everything.

There’s a sense of comfort and motivation from opening the pages of a fresh book. The crisp crinkle of the paper. The brushing sound of the smooth cover. The knowledge yet to be retained. Which is why I love to go to Bookstores and Libraries. I do my best work surrounded by books.

This book is much better than Rich Dad Poor Dad.

central lesson to “Pay YourselfmFirst”, I was able to retire and live on my
investments at 46.

Die Broke (not what you think), The E-Myth, The Forgotten Man, and
The Road To Serfdom are books that also enriched my life.

I honestly believe that reading the Richest Man in Babylon and applying the basic principles taught in the book will completely change your mindset about wealth and get you there the fastest. (Fastest means following a method not chasing after multiple craze, etc...) great book no matter how old it is!!

Assets: are realised, Liabilities: are discharged, Income: is earned and Expenses: are incurred. Always spend money to purchase Assets that appreciates as opposed to depreciate. Thanks Nisha for the brilliant insight.

there is only one asset that appreaciates, and that has become extremely difficult to aqcuire, real estate..... with interest rates 6% in central europe for the mortgages, case is lost.... no one will ever manage to put renters inside and unpay his debt, because the calculations dont make a gain anymore.....

M.J. DeMarco is by far one of my favorite authors in this category of books. He tells it like it is and at several points his one-liners cause me to literally laugh out loud. I'm glad to see him get recognition on this list because I don't see him mentioned often on other "must reads."
What will make you rich is courage, a goal, focus and the the right people around you.
I drive a lot and I use my commute time to listen to UA-cam videos and books on tapes by the dozens.

Thank you for sharing. I have read many books as well but the life changing is to do homework on changing our mindset, especially finding out our attitude toward money in the subconscious mind. Then follow steps of any book that you think it feel right to your style and belief.

Phenomenal advice as always! I happened to bump into a retired guidance counsellor, and she stated that she retired much earlier due to the frustrations of trying to implement finance and entrepreneurship as elective courses. Not "compulsory", but "elective". She was about to be reprimanded for it from the school board, that she abruptly said "f' it" and retired. She stated that the "government" curriculum for school boards is to create mass employees to pay for their outrageous pensions.
The same in Spain. It is the sad reality in most of the world. They do not like mass people to know too much about economy, money and finance; It would be harder for the government and banks to cheat and rob people.
You'd think financial literacy would be top priority. Most people learn how to write a check from their parents... if they are lucky enough.

So much knowledge! Absolutely free! All of this is not taught in school or university! I was never taught anything about money, I am praying and working to change that. I am 46 with no retirement savings because I made a lot of mistakes when I started investing, I am trying to correct now. I have a couple thousands saved up which i want to invest for long term. Listening to you gives me inspiration and wisdom. Thank you!

I think the Richest Man In Babylon is missing from this list. It’s one of my all time favorite finance books and I bet you’ll like it! It teaches solid principles/strategies on how to invest
Save 10% or more and put those money to make babies and the babies to make other babies. But i think in the economy of 2023 with the inflation we face stock market is not the place to go. Probably real estate has more chances to grow as it brings pasive income from rental in a bigger way.

Beautiful in every way and the "Psychology of Money" is the only book that speaks to me that you mentioned, so I read only that one. I know that a person has to see the wealth in themselves first (I call it self-wealth) if they want to be more than a person with money but one that cares about humanity. I like the book "Have." I have to repeat that "I have ten dollars" if that is what I have instead of "dang, all I have is ten dollars, what can I do with that?! Thanks for the information.

I admire your persistence in reading all these books. And you are beautiful to boot! I read 200 books over the last couple decades and they all rubbed off on me. I did both of the theories. I bought index funds and a couple other managed mutual funds and now am also buying individual stocks, having 12x'd my money on Tesla the last 4 years. Can't wait to see the next 10 years results. Invisalign is on my buylist also, I but haven't bought any yet as it has been too expensive up to now.
What about inflation? U think stock market is worth it anymore with this inflation?

Nischa is a really good clear no nonsense teacher about money. Her intelligence shines through. Also she doesn't have just one idea. A lot of the books she mentions and other people in this space, have just one idea but she pulls it all together, In my 30s I lived from paycheck to paycheck and had debt, my parents were dreadful with money. I decided to learn this stuff and it really worked out for me but it took 30 years. My one tip, really wake up to how much we are all being bombarded and manipulated by businesses that want our money.

I agree with some of the comments here. I have read three books that she mentioned ( Rich Dad Poor Dad, Psychology of money, and The Intelligent Investor). Great books that I will recommend. The issue is that they are mindset books. Go and make moves/actions. Put it into practice and see what works or doesn’t work for you. Experience is your best teacher not the books! God bless 🙏🏼

Rich Dad Poor Dad changed my perspectives on how I look at Assets and Liability. 4 Hour Work Week changed my perspective on how I look at a job or working 40-50 hours per week. Think & Grow rich made me realize the power of thinking positive about wealth & success and The Intelligent Investor changed my perspective on looking at a stock as a real business/company!

Of these books, probably the best one you had on your screen at the beginning was The Millionaire Fastline.
Definitely also Think and grow rich.
Besides that you need to read other books like the Magic of thinking big, Psycho-Cybernetics, definitely a good book Ask and it has given.
If you only read these books, it is enough to become a millionaire in a very short time.

Love your videos - they've been helpful. Also need to hone on this point you made about follow the patterns instead of exceptional stories. This makes a lot of sense, one of which I've come to the same conclusion. I've been learning about these exceptional stories and the pattern I noticed was luck for them.its a great story but for everyday people it's unlucky achievable.

I can tell you for a fact that being broke is more expensive because it takes away your peace of mind. I worked as hard as I could and saved some money on the side. Being an avid reader, I came across a report by Northwestern Mutual on the same topic and found that if I choose to put a lump sum into solid investments, I am more likely to have a higher balance over time. Being a novice at the time, I saw that as a queue to get into the market. That was quite the turning point in my finance.
So you got yourself some real estate?

Find the reasons why you're lazy and fix them.. Usually it's a mindset matter, OR you miss some critical information.
For example, laziness is a great mechanism for the brain itself, it's related to survival... Meaning that your brain or your "subconcious" side will strive to do less to conserve energy, this way you will have more tomorrow or in times when things go dire..
But if you know this, you can use this information against it. For example I know why I'm being lazy and I overwrite what my brain wants to do, because I know that I have food in the fridge and for the forseeable several months I won't have to bother about the Energy it tries to save, so I just do stuff, even if I don't feel like it.
I also do sports, because without it I feel lazy (but this is another story)

@@TricoliciSerghei thank you for your tips. As a matter of fact I am in therapy. Long process to inverse all that my brain did just to make me survive. You've pointed so gracefully the real issue. I recognise it in full: my sickness is that I feel most of the time like I have not enough energy, to make it, to deal with it, to live, to win, to whatever. Which gives me even more emotional struggle with life.
When I was a child I told my sports teacher that I don't exercise in order to conserve my energy :)))
Abused, depressed, alone in the dark child, by myself saving the world, at the age of 9 seems that I've decided "I CAN'T"

I have sparked a passion for business and money and my goal is to save for the next year to travel. I am going to study a bookkeeping and accounting certificate to get some understanding. Excellent work! I would encourage everyone to actually READ books instead of listening to audiobooks, since you will read at your own pace and process information as your brain calibrates to the increasingly difficult amount of technical knowledge, whereas while listening to someone else reading that same book, you have to adjust fairly quickly to the speaker's pace, which may not be as efficient as reading on your own! It could be a matter of time. I Listened to the audiobook of a few of the books mentioned while getting ready for work a few years back & its changed my life. As long as you hear the information, you get the information. If you understand and can grasp. Now, buying each book, sitting down to read them...mm. not a on the go thing. Off topic but, I also read 50 shades all the series on audiobook. Watched the movie and felt cheated or close to what I expected. The illustrations stays with you! Best of luck on how each person learns.
While there’s nothing quite as relaxing as a comfy reading chair and a good book to read, the reality is you need the TIME. Many of us (myself included) don’t have it. So we have to make best use of our busy day to day time (for example when driving in our car, doing laundry, going for a run, showering, etc.) and make best use of it by listening to audio books.

Most people will get more out of reading ... for sure. But, audio book take 1/10 of the time it takes to read.
I do both. I adjust playback speed for pacing on audio.

I'd like to mention, Think & Grow rich never claimed to be a manual or a step by step guide for getting rich. I feel in the very preface, the author makes it clear that the mindset principles he suggests would help you discover your way of getting rich, one which is best for you. And I feel that is the most important thing, as there are tons of ways one could get rich, it all starts with your mindset.

Not making upto a million before retirement is an unfulfilled retirement. I’m 54 and my wife is 50 . We are both retired with over $3million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. No longer putting blames on the FED for our misfortunes. Saving and investing lifestyle in the stock market made it possible for us this early. Even till now, we earn weekly.
Great to hear I'm 26 Father of Two under 4 my fiance is studying to be a nurse we have both unfortunately came from family's with nothing or wealth so we hope to invest and save and get out of this rat race currently ATM I'm on a very low wage but we will find a way with the help of God , 🙏

love your video. My first book was the richest man in Babylon, which I always lend to my friends to start with first steps of financial literacy. I also subscribed to Robert Kiyosaki channel, lots of interesting content there too.
I have read few books in investing but the book that gave me maximum information is -"one up in wall street". I feel after reading this book, anybody can invest confidently by doing enough homework.
