My AMAZING Hair Secret! Curly/Frizzy to Beautiful Waves in Minutes!

- I discovered this technique myself a couple of years ago and it is THE BEST time saver for curly/frizzy hair! It used to take me over an hour to straighten my hair and THEN add waves (if I wanted to). Now I let my hair air dry (or blow dry if in a rush), and then use the flat iron to create waves. I saved HOURS of time and love how this looks!

I’ve never seen anyone with my exact hair; this is amazing!
Sameeeee
Same hair, same age, same problems 😂.
Yes same
I’m a bit older so my hair is starting to thin a bit… and I’m an idiot when it comes to hair. It has been in a bun 24/7 for the last 3 years. I tried this this morning-I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW WELL IT WORKED. Thanks for sharing!!!
Me too! But a lot older. Now it’s long and white, and very cool, if I do say so myself (and I do!)😊
You are just so genuine and adorable! No fuss! Love it! I'm a mum with frizzy hair and no time and I just love this video!
I see all these girls with easy hair doing hair and then there is me. Coarse think, wavy hair. It doesn't do what those ladies claim to fame. This is the first video with my hair. It curls, it waves. It has a life of its own. It is a force. When I am late for work, my boss says, "did you have to wash your hair?" It is a topic of discussion at work because people find it in their offices. Thank you thank you thank you.
What a good idea! I have 3b curls and I love having my hair straightened and curled but it takes so much time, at least 1h30, and since the humidity ruins my good work anyway in summer, I've been looking for an easier method! I'll definitely be trying this
Me too
First of all, your natural curl is gorgeous! Also wanted to say thanks so much for these tips for those who already have curly hair!
You should do more videos. I really like the way you explained everything. I have a straightener like that but never knew how to do the wave. Thanks so much!
You are the curly hair hero!!! Thank you so much super helpful 😊
I watched your videos many years ago when you first opened your channel I think 13 years ago. Wow. Glad I located it again.
You totally cured me of my longing for a curling iron. And, you made miracles with the flatiron! Thank you!
I've had this same exact hair since I was 9. This is a life changer!
I’ve missed your videos. So glad you’re back! I remember I subscribed to you after watching your first tutorial on how to get straight hair!
Oh my god, I love your energy and I needed a video of someone with my actual hair type to do a video like this
Feels like I am hearing myself talk! You are so lovely!
Thank you! 💜
Not sure if you're still reading comments on this video but I just had to say it. This is the first video of yours that I've seen but for some reason I'm instantly hooked. You're absolutely adorable! Your voice is extremely soothing and idk I just find you super nice and cute. All the best, hope your channel keeps growing! 😁
Me too! I just watched this great video!😁😁
Thank you 🙏 this video is so refreshing someone with my hair type and not using expensive products looks beautiful 😍
You are wonderful. So glad I found you . So simple. You don't fuss
Omg! You are now my favorite hair girl!!!!
my hair is veeeery similar to yours and i looked for a video on how to curl my hair because usually i would straigten theeen curl but the curls would always fall. anyway you are super adorable and i love your personality. take care, curly sister.
So glad you are back! I missed your channel a lot the past year. Congrats on the baby(not the bad pregnancy though!) I had hair similar to yours. Have you ever thought about getting a keratin treatment? It really helps with the frizz without damaging your hair.
Wow we have the same type of hair , that is amazing , my hair becomes straight when I use anything hot including the curling iron
I love this video so much. I have super curly hair that I've been blow drying my whole adult life, too. I'm the same age as you. I will 100% try this.
Your hair came out really beautiful
Looks beautiful!!
I have super curly frizzy hair too(might be curlier than yours), and something that works for me is completely and thoroughly finger combing my hair while conditioning. it stays detangled when it air dries, which saves me the hassle of brushing it & turning my hair into a giant frizzy poof. And let me tell you that giant frizzy poof is so much harder to section out & straighten/curl in comparison to not having to brush it out.
Yes for sure! I just like the look of a looser curl/wave so that's why I love doing this :)
Missed you! My hair is dead straight but I really enjoyed this hahah.
Wow! Can't wait to see how this works out!
This method works like a dream!
OMG I love carol’s daughter. Moni and black vanilla line are great and my favorite
It's so good!!
I love this girl!
Trying this today can’t wait to see how it goes.
Great tutorial! I'm going to try this method.
I'm obsessed with it! Such a time saver for me :)
Your hair looks beautiful; it’s so bouncy and shiny. I have coarse, frizzy hair too and want to get the new Puraluxe treatment since I’m not great at styling my hair...but you look like a pro. Great job 😊🙌
It frees up so much time to clean! Ha ha, I love it. :) My hair is slightly wavy and frizzy when I air dry, so I would like to try this when I am in the mood. Very nice result.
You're so pretty! Thank you for the tutorial💕
Actual hack starts from 06:01
Thank you for not adding background music
You're adorable and the video is really helpful!
You are not going to believe this but I've been doing your exact same technique in my curly hair for over a decade😅!! Right down to the sectioning. I thought this was my best kept secret lol. I don't put as much oil in though because sometimes I get break outs. I also follow my curl pattern when I curl the iron so one side is my head has the curl going in and the other side has it thing out. I still think my hair (and yours) would be better off without heat but this method is just too fast and easy. In a way sometimes I think I damage my natural curly hair more just by fussing over it every day but with this method I barely have to even brush my hair from day to day. Anyway I found this video because I was looking for new techniques on waving my natural curls lol . Btw I also have a ghd and didn't like it as much. Sometimes I think it dries my hair out and damages it more I don't know if it's because it doesn't allow me to adjust the heat setting. Btw on my other flat iron I use 380F and it works fine. My hair texture looks exactly like yours even when I brush it out 😂👍
we have such similar hairrrrrrrrr also i LOVE your personality
Awesome--thanks so so much!
omg i loved this video it was so helpful, thank you!!!!
You're so welcome!
Great video explained so well thanks
You're really a great stylist ❤.
Thank you so much 🙂
Can you please share the name of the products you use? I try to use the links but they don’t work, thanks!
To save everyone time, just skip the blow-dry and do flat iron curls. You can speed up the process by rough drying with a hair dryer and then use the flatiron. I was hoping for something showing how to convert the tight natural curl into waves without much fuss but this is not it.
great stuff! thank you
Yay!! You'er back!!!
i wish i had your curls! i have wavy hair and finger comb in the shower with conditioner or "Brush" with a wide tooth comb . that way i have no knots but my hair is brushed through and i still keep my curl/waves.
Dear, put flaxseed gel on non wash days. Wash it off with plain water after 20 mins. It will make your hair wavy naturally.
How do you sleep with this do? Thanks!
Omg you're so cute and relatable .
Not me relating so much to everyone being in the comments!!! I thought it was crazy I wanted to curl my already naturally curled hair 😂🤣 plus being a mom I’m short on time. I never felt so pretty with my hair like this. 🥰
Is that the 1.75 inch Nume or the 1" you are using? Thanks for the tutorial. Finally, someone with the same hair issues as me!! If it's the 1", I wonder if you've had any experience with the larger version? Thanks!
That's what I was wondering too, if the newer NuMe that's wider will still work in less time?
Love it!
how I do my hair too!
How many times a month do you style??
We missed you!😍🤗
Beautiful hair
Love your hair curly
Have you ever thought about using the curly girl method? :)
I have looked into it a little but haven't ever tried it :)
@@Jamiecheryl83 your curls would look poppin!
That’s my hair !
Most hair on utube are girls with straight hair !
You’re too cute, thanks for great info and entertainment 🤗
That’s exactly like my hair
Sigh, this does NOT work for me
:(
😉
It's definitely not a quick method - waiting few hours for your hair to be completely dry (because you can't use straightener on wet hair) + using the straightener to make weaves won't take you 15 minutes, looks like at least 30 min of work for me. Also, based on my experience, your hair will eventually lose it's weaviness after few hours and it will stay half straight-half weavy for the rest of the time. So unfortunately not an option for me, but thanks for the video!
From Wicked step sister to Cinderella
Video was helpful but you talk too much!!!! I didn't finish because I just couldn't watch any more.
