bless you for sharing this tip. i tried it today for christmas and it works!! i used to never curl my hair bc of my frizzy hair texture but this changed everything for me. im going to be curling my hair now instead of straightening it 😌
Thank youuuuu! I used to damage my hair so much by straightening it and then curling it again just to get soft curls, I used heat protection, I have wavy hair and didn’t know this was possible lmao
I have similar hair to you and I think blowdrying is what makes it so frizzy and big. I used to have the same exact struggle and used to straighten and sometimes even straighten and then curl it but nowadays I just dry it with a t-shirt, then leave it to air-dry and put in a light hair oil when its near dry :) And IF I blowdry it I do it with a defuser and curling foam, which makes it look nice but almost too nice for my taste haha ps: I just found you through your corona video and I think you're extremely charismatic and a great storyteller! Wish you all the best with youtube!
Thank you so much, that's so sweet of you to say! 💖 The past few weeks I've actually been experimenting with curling products and a diffuser - OMG that thing really is life changing 🙌🏻 Def going to have to get up a curly hair routine soon!!
This is amazing I thick wavy, frizzy hair. I’ve never used the blow dryer down, going to try this and I’m also going to try that step you said. I’ll post with review after 😊
Wonderful tutorial, easy to follow! I have mixed hair and my hair dries a lot like yours. I appreciate your explanations and tutorial, overall. Thank you!
I have. I would absolutely love to be able to wear my hair naturally curly, but I can never get it to stay looking good past the first day! So frustrating. I'll def look into that product, thanks so much for the recommendation 😍
Have you ever tried flaxseed gel DIY.. it's so easy it's the best to prevent frizz. You have beautiful natural curls.. flaxseed gel will give you ringlets
My hair isn’t curly it’s waving. I strained it before hand and usually my hair curls with more heat but the heat on this is really hot. Maybe I need to spray holding spray before I curl it🥺…
I have the same problem - I’ve found that my hair doesn’t like to hold a curl if I straighten it first!! That’s why now I just curl directly on top of my natural texture & the curl holds way better 🙌🏻
Thank you so much I like fry my hair and this helped, it was just my birthday and I got so many Ulta gift card. That means I’m going to Ulta and getting myself some of these products to try out, again thank you ❤
This is exactly the tutorial I was looking for but my hair is more curly and it gets tangled easy so I can’t run my fingers through it after do you know any solutions for that?
I no longer use the mouse, but yes I use the other three 😊 I start with the anti-breakage product focusing on my ends, then the heat protectant oil spray & comb it through, and then finish with the climate control gel. The products are listed & linked in the description box 💕
girly that is sooo cute i wanna try it so bad but i only have a straightener 😭😭 i'll ask for a curling iron for christmas and i will definetly be trying this ^^
How often to you shampoo your hair? And when you're showering without shampoo, do you keep your hair dry or do you let it get a bit wet? Also, do you do this exact method every time you do shampoo it?
@@ByStephieNics ooo i recently bought a amika hair dryer brush and i haven’t tried it out yet? you could do that or you could do a video where you use a curling iron instead of a wand i’m trying to get the hang of that too!!
@@cheesercakes Agh! Maybe try taking slightly larger sections? It may be you’re sectioning a little too small. But also just with time & practice the entire process gets quicker as you get more comf with it
Hmm good Q! Probs Ouidad Climate Control - helps control frizz + provides hold for the curls 🙌🏻 but also heat protection is always super important to maintain the health of your hair so I can’t ever skip that lol
Hi, could you please comment on the products u use before curling? Also, do you put the products in your hair and wash it out or leave the products in also i love the video it really helps ty❤
@@kayleekittredge4035 Oh gosh 😩 My best advice would be to fully focus while doing your hair. Whenever I’m watching TV I end up getting distracted and burning myself lol
I’ve been working on trying to figure out a good method for exactly that - something I’ve been playing around with recently is putting my hair into a super high bun with a scrunchie. Keeps you from laying on your hair and crushing the curls, been working pretty well!!
Hi! You definitely can use a traditional curling iron with a clamp. For this method, I say to wrap your hair around the the barrel without using the clamp (just beware the presence of the clamp mayy give you some ridges in your hair). As far as why I don’t use the curling iron with the clamp, I feel I can’t get as close to my roots as I need (which is really important in this method). Also, the technique of using the clamp iron is more technical than just wrapping as I show here. But if that’s where you’re comfortable, go right ahead! ☺️
Thank you tons!!!!! I was doing shit for a curly hair girl until I found your video!!! And it felt like I was getting ready with you giving me company hehe ❤️ thank you for teaching me curling for curly hair.
How come your still alive. Thank god you are still alive, maybe you had a flue. Please don't joke like that again. Its bad luck to joke about serious stuff.
Your hair probably is wavy or loose curly already just learn the wavy/curly hair ropes and you won't need to curl you hair anymore it'll do it for you. Hate when people act like their natural wavy curly hair isn't good enough and they need fake af curls..
So practical! Finally someone doing what we curly and thick haired girls need!
Yess!! All the videos I have looked at they has straight hair
god bless you i needed this so badly
Loll glad to help 😅

how do you apply those products before?

Thank you so much!! 💖💖😊
I NEED this
I think tapered wands are shaped like that bc they're meant to be used handle at the bottom but we all hold upside down. Make sense? 😜 I hope I did
I wonder… interesting!
It's amazing but how many days do curls last?
Hi Stephanie!
Heyy 😍
Life saviour 💚
🥰❤️
Best video on the internet 👏
It looked nicer natural.
My ends always look frizzy using a wand , because I can’t hold the end close enough. Your hair looks amazing
Maybe try using a heat glove so you can hold your ends closer to the wand! 💗
Maybe you can try a tong instead of a wand? I had the same issue but they works for me! Then you only need to slide it down until the end are "inside"
do you have oily or dry hair?
so excited to try this!!
Let me know how it works for you!! 😍
