    I have similar hair to you and I think blowdrying is what makes it so frizzy and big. I used to have the same exact struggle and used to straighten and sometimes even straighten and then curl it but nowadays I just dry it with a t-shirt, then leave it to air-dry and put in a light hair oil when its near dry :) And IF I blowdry it I do it with a defuser and curling foam, which makes it look nice but almost too nice for my taste haha
    ps: I just found you through your corona video and I think you're extremely charismatic and a great storyteller! Wish you all the best with youtube!

    Why not just use a regular curling iron with a clamp? This makes no sense to me…

    • @ByStephieNics
      @ByStephieNics  Рік тому +1

      Hi! You definitely can use a traditional curling iron with a clamp. For this method, I say to wrap your hair around the the barrel without using the clamp (just beware the presence of the clamp mayy give you some ridges in your hair). As far as why I don’t use the curling iron with the clamp, I feel I can’t get as close to my roots as I need (which is really important in this method). Also, the technique of using the clamp iron is more technical than just wrapping as I show here. But if that’s where you’re comfortable, go right ahead! ☺️

    Your hair probably is wavy or loose curly already just learn the wavy/curly hair ropes and you won't need to curl you hair anymore it'll do it for you. Hate when people act like their natural wavy curly hair isn't good enough and they need fake af curls..
