Hopefully The Ringed City will cast old lore theories in a new light and spawn months of discourse between the fans, but it's difficult to realistically imagine that at this point. If you stay making videos that you are getting less interested in the stagnation will of course eventually lead the quality of the content downwards. Make whatever you're interested in, the consistent high quality of videos will keep people (myself included) coming back
Mitch dont worry sometimes we get a bit exhausted of doing what we most like. The thing about the templars looks pretty cool. If you need to rest and stop doing lore videos then rest, you as all of us here are humans and ourselves need constant distractions so we can be stimulated. I think 'executioners, wrath of the church' is still one of your best videos as you explain some of the real world references/parallels of the lore. Would love to see more videos about history like this and this way you also still have connections to Bloodborne or Dark Souls(or other videogames). To be honest I've always been way more interested in what inspired these games(and the more esoteric references) rather than literal interpretations of the lore itself. :p But anyways though you should always make what you enjoy making. Really interested in templar/crusader history myself as well.

As for me i think it would awesome to have you talk about history and politics as i feel like your style of commentary would suit very well for talking about diffrent times in history and explaining maybe what the cultural diffrenences to our modren culture were. I feel like you have all ready done this in some of your bloodborne videos talking about puthmerians and their culture and alot of people would enjoy it alot. history is a good and rich subject and I for one like too watch or read about different areas in time, from ancient Egypt, ancient Rome or even times before them, so anything you would share about something that interest to you like the Crusade would be very interesting.
I'd love to see some history and politics type stuff from your channel, as I myself enjoy learning about and discussing the subject matter. Also, Legion is best faction.
As someone who was drawn to your videos due to your more... 'historian' approach to DS lore... I'd appreciate seeing you attempt the same thing with more diverse topics. The difference is that history is a bit less open to interpretation, which I felt was your strong suit in the Soulsborne lore. Your best videos involve lesser-explored topics, like Carim and Carthus and such, so I would suggest taking the same tack with the videos you mentioned; talk about less-established knightly orders, rather than just the Templars or Teutonic knights. Everyone knows about the multiple sackings of Jerusalem; maybe taking a less explored route into the Crusades would be a venture that your viewers (certainly myself) would enjoy. Just my two cents. Love your voice, your videos, and I can't wait for more!

I agree, I love bloodborne, (not to keen on dark souls). But you can only go so far before you've done it all. You should play Nioh, it's souls inspired (but in my opinion way better that dark souls) and I would say just as good if not even slightly better than bloodborne.
Yeah don't burn your passion out, nothing worse trying to get something over with because you will never be satisfied with the final product. I'll be gutted if this means your Demon Souls lore is on hold but fully understand why.
Start with Sage Freke as he's a very interesting character and can have a key role in the plot. His comments on Yuria's magic are quite amusing which I also think played a basis for the character development for the Witch of Izalith.
imo dark souls got old with its third game.bloodborne is covered already so yeah go do other things.but keep in mind that fallout has a ton of people covering it amd tbh it isnt that "deep"of a game.just an ideea ..try out the gothic games.not the 4th one(arcania - thats a piece of shit)but the first two are awesome and the 3rd is good.
Man, I don't see how you and others do it with single games or series. Dark Souls is great, Bloodborne is amazing(for me at least, I couldn't stop playing it after getting it which was after DS3..I think I was on NG+7 when first getting The Old Hunters) but to put so many hours digging into a game's lore has to exhaust someone's interest after a certain point(Checkout the Fallout 4 lore videos, a lot of them are seeming to get worse cause they're only really dedicated to just F4 which is kinda shit compared to the older ones, especially NV. Glad to hear you've taken an interest in working on that BTW) the game has to get old with the point after that being you cringing at the thought of playing again..completely ruining your enjoyment of a great title. I'd watch your videos about history, I love history especially about the Crusades, why it happened and what happened afterwards. Politics..not so much but mainly because I haven't taken an interest in it even though our history is tied to it and how history gets conveyed, distorting it for later generations. It's been months since I last played BB, I actually stopped around the time you finished your first vanilla playthrough so I don't believe I've seen any of your BB videos, yet. I'm probably going to start it again after finally finishing Ashes of Ariandel that I put off getting until last week so I'll probably binge listen/watch your videos while playing it soon lol, at least until I get Horizon Zero Dawn in a couple days.

Vaati is good but his content seems to be more for an introduction to the lore whereas you three put out videos that delve a bit deeper going further than just putting Item Descriptions together instead of it being 1+1=2(Item Descriptions)it's more like 5×10(1×?)=100(Further details leading to the only probable outcome by using the environment, npc's, placement, and deciding the things that it can't be) if that makes any sense lol.
