- Hey guys! In today's video I attempt to answer one of the most commonly asked questions in my comment section: When do you stop growing? Everyone are different, so in this video I try to answer the question for everyone who's asked instead of replying to every comment asking me these questions! I’m 19 and 5’11.5 (182cm) I’m hoping to push into 6’1 or 6’2 since I’ve spent most of my life gaming and studying a lot so my posture is a little bad and I never played many sports. I started going to to the gym last year and eat 2 healthy meals a day for the past 2 years so hopefully I can reach my goal.
Mm I’m 16 and was 5’9’’ since July. When I started going to the gym in August, I instantly grew 2 inches simply due to fixing my posture. I’m 5’11’’(182cm) now and I think doing pylometrics is the only way for me to grow above 6’
@@jayplays4479 hey man, great progress. Im 16 too at 5'9. I have heard that going to the gym and performing exercises using weights stunt your growth (i live in India). I dont do deadlifts, overhead presses or squats. I just perform exercises like pullups, bicep curls, leg extensions, lateral raises, tricep pushdowns etc. Can you please help me to decide whether i should continue the gym or not?

Guys, believe me or not, but I growed an 1 cm (half of inch) in 1 month at 16 years old using all MaoMao advices. I haven't gotten taller since I was 14. I am 5'7 now. I also asked my dad when he stopped growing and he said at 22 years old, and grandma said that he got a growth spurt in 16-18 years old, he went from 5'5 to 5'10/5'11. So I hope I will get this growth spurt too!
@@SOONSHINY127 Of course! 1. Sleeping, 8-9 hours, falling asleep at 23:00. 2. Exercising, gym+running and jumping 3 times a week. 3. A lot of food, I am eating more than I need to. 4. Lots of protein foods, calcium, vegetables and fruits, zinc and magnesium, vitamin D and C. 5. A lot of water, 2.5 liters a day. I hope this will help you too, because it helped me!
Those don't make you taller they help you get to your potential height. @MaoMaoFCM My voice has changed little compared to when I was 13, it's a little big but sometimes it sounds like a child. I still have an appetite and my strength is more or less the same.

That's already a very good height for me at least 😅. I AM 4'11😂😂 at 18 and my father is 5'2. However my dad did grow at the age of 19 so I still have hopes but with low expectations.

Hi MaoMao, I been watching your content a lot, it really helped me. I have concerns regarding to my height. I'm currently 15 years old and 5'10. I used to be the tallest kid in the class in elementary school, but I didn't grew inch since 13.. I think the reason is during my puberty I didn't exercise at all, eat unhealthy food but alot, and got like 5 hours of sleep everyday. And at the age of 14 i went on a diet so I didn't eat much and lost 20kg. I think I went into puberty quicker than my classmates too. However, now I exercise 2 hours everyday, get 8 hours of sleep, and try to eat only healthy foods a lot. I always feel hungry and feel tired even with 8 hours of sleep everyday and I still have baby face. IN YOUR opinon, do you think I stopped growing in height just temporary because of stupid mistakes I made? so I can still grow a little more, or stopped growing height completely? My parents height is 5'8 dad and 5'6 mom.
The only way to know you can still get higher is go to doctor and take an xray of your feet to know your epiphysis close or not

It’s probably over, I got a similar situation going. I’ve been 5’10 since I was 13-14 and nothing has changed going into college soon. I’ve been eating really high amount of calories as well, went from 150lbs at 13 10% bf to 180 lbs 12% bf rn. There’s only a brief period of time in which you can grow and once it passes it’s essentially over aside from some outliers.
I also feel tired and sleepy after 8 to 9 hours sleep and specialy after night fall

Hello MaoMao I'm 13 and my height is 162.5 cm and I want to grow to 186 cm. I still need to hit puberty however my parents are quite short 157 (mum) and 165cm (dad). How tall can I become? The good thing is that my great grandparents were 6ft because my dad told me. I am also very active and I am a vegetarian because of religion however I eat a lot of greens. I don't eat junk food at all.

Ain't no way boy, I'm 14 and 5'8, we are above average idk why you think 5'8 is short but I see your point, my dad is 5'3.5 and my mom is 5'2, I am blessed to be 5'8 while the doctors say I was "suppose" to stop at 5' 5-6 and they saying it's really rare to be 5 inches taller than yo dad, and they said based on my growth I'm suppose to stop growing at 5'11. I think I am going to stop at 5'11 because my parents noticed that I have been getting taller in the past weeks. Btw I hit Puberty at 13 and I'm still in my puberty stages. (Eating stuff wont make you taller, it will help you get to your height potential.)

A week or two weeks later my legs hurt again, only this time it hurt up to my buttocks and it also hurts after physical exercise. If you stretch everyday like hamstring stretches and hip stretches, don’t be stressed all the time, eat healthy a lot, do sports, drink milk, excercise body weight, avoid candy
