Thank you so much, I managed to make my first amigurumi ball. I was so frustrated and sad because I felt like I was dumb and couldn't do it but thanks to you I finally made the head for my future Tony Tony Chopper amigurumi. 🥺❤️
Putting my notes here, maybe someone can use them too. Start with a Magic Ring R1: 6x sc into magic ring (tighten ring after, 6 stitches total) R2: 6x inc (12 stitches total) R3: (sc, inc) x6 (18 stitches total) R4: (inc, 2sc) x6 (24 stitches total) R5: (inc, 3sc) x6 (30 stitches total) R6-R10: inc all around (30 stitches total) R11: (3sc, invdec) x6 (24 stitches total) R12: (2sc, invdec) x6 (18 stitches total) - fill ball after this R13: (1sc, invdec) x6 (12 stitches total) R14: invdec x6 (6 stitches total) - fill up rest of the ball Leave some yarn for weave in, cut off rest, stitch with needle under each stitch in the last row, close up the hole, finish with a knot, then take the yarn through the ball and cut off. Done.
I been trying for ages to figure this out and when I found this angelic voices were singing 😅 It's really easy to understand! Thank you for creating this!❤
Excellent video! I am a beginner and needed to practice with this size 6 bulky yarn for an upcoming project. Your tutorial was clear and helpful. I made a ball and it is round and it rolls. I call that a success!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! On other videos i kept getting stuck on the inc and sc, not sure if the inc was increasing by 1 every time, but you explained it SO well!!! Thank you SO much!!
I’ve been struggling just to make a head for two whole months!😂😢 what this video helped me break my personal record of getting the sphere to look right it used to look very tiny about the size of a small plushy a very small plushy and now this size is about the size of a sunflower head❤ thank you for making this really straightforward and easy😊
This is the most helpful video yet! This video helped me finish a SUPER important project that I only had 1 day to finish. (I’m a slow learner). Thank you so much! This really helped!
This tutorial was very jelpful to me, since i have the same yarn and that makes me feel like it is easier tp follow along and also because your video making skill are really good and so are you crochet skills
Thank you for the video…easy to follow & to the point. May not be for a beginner…it didn’t say it was a beginner video so that’s good. I almost didn’t watch because of some of the comments. So glad I did. There are plenty of video’s to learn the magic ring / magic loop. I would recommend getting that down pat first before attempting any project requiring it. I appreciated learning a couple of things that I didn’t know (WIN): using a smaller hook to tighten wholes in your work, invisible decreases, and lastly how to hide your seam/start line (I don’t know what it’s called but I’m thankful to know now how to hide it 😂). Thank you again!
i love this sm it REALLY REALLY REALLY helped me ALOT. thank you for showing us a tutorial ❤❤ ive been struggling that past few months but when i saw this video it helped me alot Thank you so much ❤❤😭
idk why people didn’t find this helpful, i’m a beginner crocheter and this video was super easy to follow and i love how you didn’t add unnecessary information :)
Is it ok if i use this pattern for the shape of my new pattern am a Beginner and im writing a pattern and this sphere is perfect for this. If i ever Publish the pattern or give it to someone so they can make it i will put you in credit, aswell as youer video its very helpful.
What if you want the ball much larger? How do we continue the increases? I think my understanding is to continue to add 6 increases in each row evenly spaced, but I'm not completely sure. Thanks so much for your video. 🙏🥰
Yes you’re correct! You know how there 6 sections for each row- for each row you would just add one more single crochet to each section. So if for the last row you did 5 single crochet stitches and then an increase and did that 6x around, for the next row you’d do 6 single crochet stitches and then an increase and do that 6x around, and for the next row you’d do 7 single crochet stitches and then an increase and do that 6x around, etc etc. Also, if you add more increase rows, you’ll want to increase the number of rows in the middle that don’t have an increase to keep the ball from turning into an oval. I usually do the same amount of no increase rows as I did increase rows. For the decrease rows you’ll have the same number as the increase rows and as far as stitch counting it’s the same process as the increases except your reducing stitches instead of adding them. I hope that makes sense! 😊😊
The explanation is clear and easy to understand!.. I just made a ball, but I was surprised and thought it would be bigger than that, but it was very elaborate!.. I want to ask you how to make a ball bigger than that. I want it for my little cousin to play with as a ball, and I do not want to make an amigurumi.
I get how to crochet and all but when I do these amigurumi tutorials, it always ends up looking like a cone shape and not a circle shape. Am I doing something wrong with the first 6 stitches or?
I an trying hard for weeks but every "circle" is a total mess. I feel like i am counting right but i never come up to the right amount of stitches. With thinner cotton yarn it is even worse. But thanks for your explanation, i finally understand where to put the stitch marker. ❤
Hi 😊 When i try to make the ball at the start it always starts to curl up but when i watch the tutorials theirs is always flat. Is there a way to fix this, am i doing something wrong or is it my yarn?
Hi, what’s the reason you went from 6 to 18 stitches when increasing but when decreasing it went from 18 to 12? edit: realized you forgot to put the timestamp for 6 increases in round 2
I'm trying to make my first amigurumi project and I was following the timestamps instead of the video and I was freaking out bc I didn't realize they skipped the second row

This was probably the best amigurumi ball tutorial, it was very clear to understand and with the chunky yarn it was easier to see. THANKS 🤩
This is the only video that gave very clear instructions. Thanks much, appreciate it.

Start with a Magic Ring
R1: 6x sc into magic ring (tighten ring after, 6 stitches total)
R2: 6x inc (12 stitches total)
R3: (sc, inc) x6 (18 stitches total)
R4: (inc, 2sc) x6 (24 stitches total)
R5: (inc, 3sc) x6 (30 stitches total)
R6-R10: inc all around (30 stitches total)
R11: (3sc, invdec) x6 (24 stitches total)
R12: (2sc, invdec) x6 (18 stitches total) - fill ball after this
R13: (1sc, invdec) x6 (12 stitches total)
R14: invdec x6 (6 stitches total) - fill up rest of the ball
Leave some yarn for weave in, cut off rest, stitch with needle under each stitch in the last row, close up the hole, finish with a knot, then take the yarn through the ball and cut off. Done.

You are so good at explaining. It was so easy to understand what you were doing. You are one of my favourite people to learn crochet from.
I searched tons of tutorials and none worked but this one was SOO CUTE AND SO EASY THANKS SO MUCH ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much for the added details. How can I make this the size a basketball?
I’m a beginner but thank you you helped so much I made a snow man!
I have a question how do you make the ball wider do I make another round of increases?

Do you have a tutorial on how to make ball starting with a star
Your video is very helpful. Is there any way to make the ball bigger? Like a basketball size?
The explanation is clear and easy to apply. How can I make a much larger ball, approximately 4 inches in diameter?
thank you so much!! what size safety eyes do you think i’d use?
im glad this helped a lot of people, but me personally, it was so unclear that i had to exit ur video after u explained the magic loop
I agree it was pretty hard I did end up getting it but maybe a bit slower or clear
I get how to crochet and all but when I do these amigurumi tutorials, it always ends up looking like a cone shape and not a circle shape. Am I doing something wrong with the first 6 stitches or?
How did you avoid the cone?
Yeah I’m getting a cone to lol

Will you ever show us how to make your poobacca doll. I just love it. Thanks. 1:51
Lol I might get in trouble for copyright infringement if I did that one specifically, but I do plan to do some amigurumi tutorials! 😊😊
Yayy
Using this tutorial to try and make a snow man 😁
Aww that’s a cute idea!! ⛄️
For the second part, to make 12 stitches in all do we make a single stitch in the same stitch twice?
Hi 😊
When i try to make the ball at the start it always starts to curl up but when i watch the tutorials theirs is always flat. Is there a way to fix this, am i doing something wrong or is it my yarn?
It should form sort of a bowl shape, that way it rounds out gradually. You’re doing it right! 😊
Thankyou so much 😊
Nice! Thanks
I have a question, what if i wanna make it bigger? do i continue doing inc?
After the rounds how do you start the sides
Hi, what’s the reason you went from 6 to 18 stitches when increasing but when decreasing it went from 18 to 12?
edit: realized you forgot to put the timestamp for 6 increases in round 2
Yea I got real confused with that 🤣
before i start to do anything what is an increase? is that when you do two sc to one loop?
Yup
Okay so um I was pulling the stern to close it but it snapped😭
Would u have a smaller size for a video I’m looking for ? I’d like to make a necklace and bracelet
Girl, why are you going 5,000,000,000 mph with making the magic slipknot like you don’t gotta go 5,000,000,000 mph?
Girl you can adjust how fast she talks & video plays yourself….
I'm trying to make my first amigurumi project and I was following the timestamps instead of the video and I was freaking out bc I didn't realize they skipped the second row
❤ sweet!
yea
Why did mine turn out 1 inch😭😭😂, I stuffed it with a cotton ball😭🤣, well thanks for the video, it really helped, and this was my very forst crochet project
Mine is now a cone i think i did something wrong
What I do is flip it inside out so you could try that
My amigrumi ball gets flat from the top like a hat. y? How to fix it?
Followed it just fine with no audio. I just watched the video and followed the instructions
Same with me she When did really fast and like didn't tell you what 1 to go in stuff it didn't help me either
i followed all the steps but why does mine always turn into a cone
I don't see how you make the magic ring.
ball
this isn’t for beginners you’re doing it too fast and what if I don’t know how to do the magic not loop thingy
She never said this is for beginners and she show us how to do it
The crochet tutorial is great.just the editing and steps of the video in the beginning that needs to be work on more 😭
Wow

How
Ok, 1.) Y'all can just slow it down. UA-cam has that feature. 2.) Of course this isn't beginner friendly. This is not a beginner pattern. Go learn the basics and stop blaming others
Mine curved again 😢 am I the only one 😢😭
It made mine look like an oblong 😢
Can you eat it?
You barely helped me...
Lol! Then find a slower video for children. 😂
This is intermediate find a beginner one
Right? Didn't make any sense. And I grew up with crocheting.
Very confusing
She’s a grown women please respect her and find a slower one for beginners if ur not a beginner find a vid for a level like u 😊
I don’t like how she expects you to know what a magic loop is or how to do one so I struggled 😢
Yarn is to fluffy.. Cant see what ur doing
That’s because this isn’t a beginner video and if you’re a beginner, it’s recommended to use normal since chunky yarn is hard to see your stitches
