This helped me so much! I've been crocheting almost a year, and I've always wanted to figure out how to make a perfect ball, because I just couldn't find anything that i could understand, but yours was explained so well!
I am sooo glad you liked my video! There are lots of techniques to create a proper round shape in a crochet ball, but after some long tests, I found out that this was the most simple way to go! Thank you very much 😘
Thank you so much for this video. I've been crocheting since a while and have always been searching for such videos where they give a summary of what they do and don't force us to see the whole video, at the end of which we forget the stitches, and the ball doesn't become a perfect round.❤
Thank you for the explanation. No one explains it this way, and as someone who enjoys understanding the foundation of creating patterns, this is very helpful
Minka has the same crochet hook ❤❤❤ she’s started a ball the other day but gave up. Now she’s excited to try again. She says she trusts you, you always make it very easy 🙏🏾👌🏾💋 thank you for sharing your gift so generously 💋🌺🌸💐🌷🍭
You are both sooo sweet! I am sure she will be able to do it now! Please let me know if it works for her after watching the video. It's my pleasure to help! 😘
I always answer everyone here 😅 the goal of the video is to understand the logics behind crocheting a ball, so people could make it any size the they need. I will create another video teaching the step by step on how to make a crochet ball from scratch, if that’s what you were expecting. Thanks for your message 😘

I can’t thank you enough!!!!! Your explanation for changing the size of a Round Ball was Excellent!!!!!!!!! I’ve been sitting here watching video after video on UA-cam for crocheting a Head for a Doll I’m working on….. my original pattern used a different Yarn and the yarn I switched to made the head too big and I needed to find out how to make the head Smaller……..your explanation on “Increasing” a certain amount of rows determines the size of the ball and then you do single crochet rounds according to the number of rounds you did of increasing rounds (which makes sense, and THEN you start your Decreasing rounds……….I’m going to try this right now…….great video and I understood you completely but I’m not a Newbie so maybe that’s why one viewer couldn’t grasp it….. Ty again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰👵🏻
I immediately subscribed after how you explained this!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I’ve always struggled understanding this! Now it all makes perfect sense!!! 😊🫶🏽
To be honest i've never felt so happy after learning smt, it's have been a year since i started crochet and i assume that this is the most helpful video i have seen since, thank you so much ❤
Thank you so much! It was my first time doing a crochet ball and doing decreases, which I also learned from your video. That last part was a bit tricky to get it right, so mine is a bit uneven. After I finished with the needle, a small bump showed there. First time using a yarn needle, too, lol! I could also have used more filling. It seemed enough, but nope. Excellent video, I learned a lot from it!
Oh that's awesome! It makes me SO Happy that you were able to crochet your first ball. Our first attempts are never perfect, just keep in mind that if you were capable of doing it for the first time, that's a win! With time and practice you will improve the other details. I am very happy for you!
Love this video. I have been thinking of making little stress ball keychains for me, my daughter, nieces and nephew and this helps A LOT with trying to figure out the size and proportion of the ball. Can't wait to try this tomorrow and see how they turn out.
This video helped with the concept of creating a ball. The beginning of the video shows increasing by 6 each row, but then the tutorial creates a different size ball. So my first attempt turned out weird.
Hi sweetheart! thanks for your feedback! The goal of this video is to teach the logic and the whole concept behind creating a perfect amigurumi ball of any size, and not teach how to make a ball from scratch. There will be other videos here in the channel where I teach this step by step, so just stay tuned.because I am sure it will be helpful to you 😘

Hey sweetheart! That's so strange! Let me try to understand what's going on so I can help you: When you count your stitches, are they correct in every round? Did you make sure that the rounds count is correct? So nice that you are willing to crochet Pokeballs! These were my first projects back in 2015! 😍
@@Crocheniacs The stitches came out correctly and I'm using the golden loop trick but instead of the stitches being lined up they are slightly a bit to the right? I'm right handed and its almost as if they're slightly diagonal? Is it that I'm just holding the piece wrong? thank you so much for responding and trying to help btw! I love your work! It looks like the rows aren't straight but kind bumpy too, along with the slight diagonal.
@@kelrosa23 oh, so it is not like the ball turned asymmetrical, the issue is that the stitches are leaning to the right (Let me know if I got it right). Are you crocheting with yarn over technique? And I always answer everyone, it is really a pleasure to help! 🥰
@@kelrosa23 Yarn over is not a mistake, you don't have to worry about it. When it comes to having the stitches aligned, there are a couple of things to consider like crochet tension, the proportion of yarn and crochet hook, but also if you crochet with yarn under technique it tends to twist less to the right.
Hi maam! Im really sorry to bother you but when i start the magic ring, it has a little point in the centre, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t, would it be okay for me to ask why that may be happening please? Also this is an amazing tutorial, Thank You For Making It!!❣️❣️

So.. In the first ball, if I did 4sc 1inc, I have to keep doing that until I reach 6 more rounds? Or do I just repeat 36sc until I reach 6 more rounds?
Hello! Sorry to bother, but I have a big question. I did 8 rows of multiples of 6, by row 8 I have 48. Then did 8 rows of 48 for the middle part. But when I started decreasing, which the first decreasing row should give me 42, I have 1 stitch left between my 42 stitch and my marker. What did I do wrong? :c I hope I can get help. Thank you for the video!!
Hi! You don't bother me, I am happy to answer your question. You probably counted the stitches wrong at some point or made an extra increase. Are you counting stitches after you finish every round? In the beginning, it is completely normal to have an extra stitch or miss one. Depending on what you're doing, you can simply ignore this mistake and continue practicing 😅 One stitch shouldn't make a big difference 🤭
