It's not for everybody :) I like how it makes combat slower, more methodical and calculated. Also secondary attack provides a decent CC capability. On the other hand - if you bonemass with it and drink some lingering stam, for 5 minutes you become just a complete mass murder machine. Plenty enough to take a fortress without much of a fuss.
I love Krom :) The way I play the game is I have characters who specializes with certain weapon combinations. So I have one who went to the ashlands using krom as the main weapon and eventually progressed to the scourging slayer. This one specializes with axes and when I brought him to ashlands I thought that I am just being silly, just performing a stunt. However what surprised me how viable that was. Crystal battle axe allows you to very quickly push everything away and control the crowds, while Jotun Bane does a fairly decent job dealing with morgens and asksvins. In this video - yes, I am just being silly here on purpose. This character got himself a pair of nice berserkir axes.
I was bummed they didn't add a great axe with the update but looks like my old friend is still pretty viable
Honestly impressed since it is a mountains biome tier weapon. The two handed sword with the new update sucks.
Cool video. No way in Ashlands Hell I’m using the axe there. The slow swing speed with the overwhelming terminator spawn rate is not a good match.
