the ashlands look so easy for you with the skeletons and the shield, in the mistlands the skeletons always got stuck, i can't play well with them there
It works in mistlands too: ua-cam.com/video/tPkaNtidfQ4/v-deo.html you just need to be able to summon them whenever you need, that's one of the reasons I use melee and a bow, not other magic staffs - need that eitr for the summons and bubble. Also, while this playstyle is very fun and I love it a lot, I wouldn't call it easy. Once the bubble bursts - you become a one hit kill basically for anything. So it requires quite a bit of focus and mistakes are costly.
Yeah, I play at 32:9 aspect ratio, so most UI elements are not on screen when cropped. I could overlay them, how I do with the health bar, just didn't feel like it's very necessary - feather fall and rested are the only status effects I have throughout this whole video.
Man, Valheim has some awesome magic spells but I just wish they had some more oomph behind them. Like those skeletons were getting hurt pretty quickly but you can't ever really summon better ones. Sure, in the new DLC you can summon the undead trolls, but they can also just mess you up instead.
Those work fairly well as decoys :) Also you have an option to protect them with the bubble if you want to play more into a necromancer role and want skeletons to do all the work for you. And if you can get your bloodmagic skill level very high they become quite tough and hit really hard. It's just that raising that skill level is slow and difficult unless you are willing to do some spawner grinding type of thing which I'm not. Trollstav is a life saver for this character in the ashlands.
