It wasn’t going to be seen as official until you(Dmitry) did the overview. Yeah Steve is cool, but you sold me and probably everyone else on confidence in the ACSS system.
@@PrimaryArmsOptics I just checked the website and this reticle did not seem to be in the filters. Will this be on a future product? An SLX with 1-6x24?
Suggestions for the next evolution of this reticle: 1.) break up the hard lines of the verticle mil marks with a precise floating dot. 2.) replace the horizontal lead marks with precise floating dots at 1 mil increments.
Ordered one today and cannot wait. This will be my first dive into LPVOs. I’m usually using prisms and red dots with a magnifier. This reticle sold me as soon as I saw Hop show it during shot show 2023. Can’t wait.
Will there be a 556 sfp bdc version eventually? I'm interested in this optic because of the 1x and bright dot. I have an astigmatism, red dots don't work the best trying to shoot at distance. I'd do a prism scope with bdc, but I need non fixed magnification. It's sitting in my cart for the June pre order because I'm looking for something right now. This optic doesn't fit the purpose I'm looking to fill though; beyond its 1x and bright dot.
I wish one thing that it was more of a bullet drop compensator. With the bright dot. So it’d be 2-6 hundred yard bullet drops I’m not familiar with MIL’s so this confuses unfortunately
I wish you guys could make this in a ffp in your GLX or even PLX line. Same daylight bright reticle. Same mil lines, add a couple wind holds, open the lines between the horizontal lines and the center dot and keep that dot super bright. That would be the perfect LPVO. Lightweight, Durable, First focal plane, super good 1x with a basic crosshair so no illum no problem, than dial up to 6 or 8 and have the mil lines which double as ranging features with a couple of wind holds and bam. You guys basically have the opportunity to make a FFp razor with a slightly better reticle
For a novice paper puncher, who roughly has grasped the concept of MOA, would one really need to re-learn or figure anything different between MOA/MIL if using the NOVA reticle? Trying to decide between putting either the Gen4 NOVA or the Gen3 ACSS on my 1st AR, instead of a Vortex 4-12x50AO I've had on a 10/22 for a while. Over glassed, I know. Leaning towards the NOVA for the crosshair & bright dot, but for plinking, I like the price difference of the Gen3 ACSS.
As long as you look at MOA/Mil as angular units of measurement the concept behind them is the same. The Nova is a fantastic reticle that is very bright. and the Gen IV SLx 1-6 is a big upgrade from the Gen III and an awesome scope. You will not be disappointed.
What is the mil measurement from center of the reticle to the moving target leads? I know it is commonly estimated to be 0.5 mils per 1 mph of a mover. I would think there would be 1.5 mils between these hash marks on the horizontal part of the reticle. Am I correct?
Very excited for this. I was considering getting a Delta Stryker, but I am going to wait until this comes out. Any chance we'll get the PLX mounts in 1.7"?
While not directly related to this, I have to ask: Are there any plans of incorporating the ACSS Vulvan reticle into any of the EPS series? I can't help but think that would make for the ultimate pistol optic and very much so want one (or more accurately, a few). Thanks for the amazing work you do with these reticles!
I’m a little confused, I know these holds are one mil apart, but to use them to auto range…18” at any of the Mil marks would change with caliber. Sorry I’m sure I’m missing something simple here.
Hi Primary Arms. Have you ever thought of maybe making a BDC reticle with ranging circles (I don't know the actual name)? From my understanding, they are different sized circles that determine a target's distance based on the head size. I remember another optic (don't know the name) from a different manufacturer used that. It would be great if maybe you could use such a concept on your 1-6x or 1-8x optics (or whatever other LPVOs you have).
You're thinking of the Shepard scope line, famous for their dual-reticle system. Shepard was purchased some years ago, so I don't know their status as a going concern, but they were the ones most known for aiming circles. PA would probably have to pay licensing fees to the current owner of that technology.
@@GeorgiaBoy1961 Actually I was thinking of some scope made by a gentleman who I think appeared at SHOT Show or some other event. If I recall, his scope is made overseas (China I think). Never heard of Shepherd before I read your comment.

Lol thanks, in all fairness to Steve and everyone else, I designed the ACSS so know it inside and out. Thank you for all your support!

I'm picking this over the 3x prism.
Keep the same spacing with the boldness of the duplex but add wind and or bdc and ill pay double for it.

Awesome 😉👊👍🇺🇸
Any chance we will ever see something like the plxc 1-8 in terms of glass quality but in a second focal plane and with a reticle like the new nova?
So what would be my hold over from distance 2-600 yards
Would it be
Red dot = 100 yard zero
Half mil below is 200 yards
1mil is 300 yards
2mil is 400 yards
3mil is 500
4mil is 600
5mil is 700?

Yes we need to know this. I have 2 handguns without red dots yet waiting for this🤞I love my 507 acss and 509 acss
BTW which scope mount comes with the red dot cap for the top?
now ... If I could PLEASE get this without having to wait for backorder!!!!!
You guys should do a 1-4x with this reticle and make some competition for trijicon's Tr24, and stiener's p4xi's 1x performance.
I really wish you guys could have figured out a way to blend the fiber wire and an etched Reticle somehow to give some windage holds by the mil hashes
Reminds me of a Steiner p4xi but with with more magnification & but I’m going to guess less price.
I wish it had it had just one set of wind hold dots for each hash and it would be perfect
If you put this reticle in the PLXc, I will throw my money at your face!
I'm guessing this reticle is meant for 556? How do they holds match for a 308?
I wonder how good is it for competition shooting?
it’s really good actually even with illumination off

no they still range estimate caliber has nothing to do with it . Simply ranging
Oh ok, so those 5 Mil. auto range lines are 300 out to 700?

when will this be available on the website?
early this year
Can you put this on your 2.5-10? That was my main complaint with the GLX 2.5-10. That chevron is not sharp at least to my eyes.
This would definitely cover up more of the target then a chevron tip
@@PrimaryArmsOpticsI don’t care for the Chevron. For a precision scope, having finer crosshairs would be better as well?
