Dmitri - thanks for another excellent and innovative design. Just one suggestion for improvement on the 4-14x HUD DMR FFP - if PA does a version 2.0, please include turret caps.
I love hearing that round spin through the air at distance. A lot of people don't understand why every round isn't touching. A hand size group with just holdovers At 603 is devastatingly accurate if you're on the receiving end of that round. And you're not using match grade ammo. I'll take "stupid easy" over "hold one mil favor left shoulder" any day. Great work on your reticle, and thank you
Just ordered this scope and I can't wait. Great vid, thanks.

This is why I only use primary arms scopes on my rifles. You guys rock. You make a awesome quality product and I have enjoyed shooting with your scopes for quite some time now. And I have a savage model 10 FCP-SR .308 and I've taken it out to 800 yards no problem. I don't buy Remington rifles for a reason. Great video great optics customer for life
fsteddie95 is that why Remington makes the best and most popular rifle in the world and army and marine and special forces snipers use it. If it’s good enough for them it’s good enough for me. Any of my Remington rifles will outshoot your savage pos all day.
I have a savage model 12 heavy barrel in 308 and 223 . I had a Remington 700 in 270 never could shoot consistent my savage will out shot that Remington hands down 🤷🏼♂️. I know that Remington has a great action I just got a bad one but I love my savage with that Accu trigger 👍🏻
Great job, great video! I love the POV footage, I know it's hard but, if it's possible I would love to see more of that! Thank YOU for Your service! Cheers from Poland!
NOT BORING at ALL. To me it is Very Enjoyable. I might end up with this scope for my .308 upper for my AR. 0h, Nice Shoot'n, Dimitri. Nice shoot'n indeed.
My savage and Remingtons have similar bolt issues for whatever reason. Never had that issue with TC, tikka, or mossberg yet. Great review, i will be buying this or its bigger brother for my .308
I have the 3-18x50 ACSS hud dmr mounted on my M1A. I will not use any other optic! Primary Arms can compete with the big boys all day long for a fraction of the price👍
Love mine! Glass is a little less than my raptor but I’ll take it all day for that price, can’t beat it. So excited to get my hands on the new models!!!#ACSSFTW
I have several of these optics for multiple platforms... one of my mounts had a stripped bolt, HAD to be my fault, emailed for just a replacement bolt, sent me the whole new mount!... customer service rocks, that’s why I only use and recommend Primary Arms!!!...
I have one bought and paid for from optics planet, just waiting for it to be stock and them to send it. Can't wait, got 24" bull barrel on order excited to pair them up.
Thanks for the information, this will be my second acss scope from primary arms. I also have a 1x8 on my ar 15 with a 20" barrel. You have done a heck of a job with these Scopes. Love them, looking forward to also getting the 4x14 for 300 win mag, When I get the money. Hat's off to you, you've done yourself proud and thanks again for the information, I'm new to Scopes and want to learn.
Just so I don't sound any more stupid, I have a 4-14x44 on order for my 308. I would like 6-30x56 on my 300 win mag. My bad. Nobody will read this but I know I said the wrong thing and it bothered me.
I get 3inch groups with XM80C all day long with my M1A Loaded. It is M80 ball ammo yes, but its some of the most accurate M80 ball that I've ever shot. Not precision ammo, but it will hit inside of a mans torso easy and pretty consistently.
How hard would it be to get the Orion with illuminated radical need a couple of them for my 308 and 223 Savage model 12 target rifles for night shooting pigs and coyotes ?? Keep up the good work Dimitri love seeing your videos on all the scoops that primary arms has one day I will have primary arms on all my rifles 👍🏻
Nice I like this video, Ive watched it a few times now. Do you think you could do something similar with the 4x14-Orion and sat a 308 with 165gr SST ammo and say a 18in high plate with deer vitals painted on? Thanks
0 the scope at 100 and everything is ready. If you need additional input download Streloc Pro and you can change data to see what you should see in the scope. All Primary Arms scopes are available in the app along with many other's. I have this scope on a .308 and a 30/06 and the app was very handy with the 06.
I've got a question regarding the future of shortdots or variable power optics. Do you belive that in near future there will be 1x-14x or is it too much to ask for "true" one power capable optic? Also, I am very curious how psysically can You have one power and four power by just turning the knob? Is it (simplified) about changing the distance beetween the lenses? Cheers again! (Great product, infortunatelly shipping price to Poland is quite big, but nevertheless I've got to try it!)
I love both of my hud dmr 4-14 scopes. With that being said, I would love to see a platinum level 4-16 hud dmr scope. It would fill the gap between the platinum 1-8 and the 6-30.
Can you get this reticle without the extra dots on the main vertical line if you don't want the cross cal. platform? things are rarely at even yards or even .50
I have a Savage model 10 24" bull barrel 1 in 9 twist think that scope would work with it using some 75gn ammo. Also have a 308win to use just hoping it would work with both?
Okay, I'm sold. NOOB here. New to long range shooting and need to buy a .308 and this scope. I want to smack some steel at 600 too -- and have an accurate rifle light enough for hunting. Is this just a Model 700 ADL or one of the nicer models? Can you recommend a couple good "entry-level" .308? Any help appreciated and nice job on this reticle!!!
Which part of the chevron is the 200 yard mark exactly? Is it the inside tip, or is it the flat part of the base of the chevron where the opening/mouth of the chevron is?
What’s the difference between the slx and the OPMOD (optics planet modification) 4-14x44 with this reticle. I just purchased the OPMOD because it’s the only place I could find this set up in stock. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.
I'm straight up addicted to ACSS reticle I like the original and the HUD. No offense but I was disappointed with the vortex strike eagle, imo the ACSS 1-6X is superior, i can't wait to mount this 4-14 hud on my AR-10
2 questions A) are you aiming of the BDC reticle or scope adjustments? B) is there or can you point me in the direction of a bullet drop calculator based upon the scope where I can enter in velocity and bullet type?
So what you telling me no matter which bullet type or or velocity. I zero the scope at 100 meters or yards on 168 gain bullet and it will hit at 600 meter or yards whether I use turn the distance knob or use BDC on the reticle? P.S. I already own one. The instructions were not the best. I shoot at a 100 yard range. I'm planning to go to a 600 yard range. 125 gr (8 g) Spitzer3,100 ft/s (940 m/s)2,668 ft·lbf (3,617 J)150 gr (10 g) Nosler tip2,820 ft/s (860 m/s)2,648 ft·lbf (3,590 J)168 gr (11 g) BTHP2,650 ft/s (810 m/s)2,700 ft·lbf (3,700 J)175 gr (11 g) BTHP2,645 ft/s (806 m/s)2,619 ft·lbf (3,551) There are a lot of velocities and drag coefficients
This is what I wonder and worry about also. I love the idea of this scope for my .308 but I wonder if I'll end up having to eyeball stuff and guess because i won't always be using the exact same ammunition they may have used during design.
Same place as Vortex, depending on class of scope. Cheap glass is made in China. Midgrade glass is made in the Philippines. Expensive glass is made in Japan.
Only suggestion I can add is to make these reticles to also compensate for bullet drop on other planets in case we have to fight the space nazis or russians on the moon or mars
There is no bullet drop in space as there is no gravity.. Also since its also devoid of an atmosphere, there is no resistance to forward momentum of the bullet nor wind deflection.. At 2000 yards the bullet would roughly still carry the same velocity it had when it exited the barrel..

Long Beard cool thing is using the same optic and index in shooting one splash mark.
I enjoy the bdc portion better especially UKD
Just ordered this scope and I can't wait. Great vid, thanks.

NOT BORING at ALL. To me it is Very Enjoyable. I might end up with this scope for my .308 upper for my AR. 0h, Nice Shoot'n, Dimitri. Nice shoot'n indeed.
I find it entertaining. I am not bored!
Not boring at all.
I enjoyed seeing you "again"!!
Long time no see Dimitri Mikroulis. Great to see you are doing well 😉👍
Awesome video! I am definitely buying one of these optics!
My savage and Remingtons have similar bolt issues for whatever reason. Never had that issue with TC, tikka, or mossberg yet. Great review, i will be buying this or its bigger brother for my .308
This guy does some awesome videos.
This is probably my next optic. Pretty sick.
I have the 3-18x50 ACSS hud dmr mounted on my M1A. I will not use any other optic! Primary Arms can compete with the big boys all day long for a fraction of the price👍
That's a pretty slick reticle.
Great video of the 4-14 ACSS
Damn!! Badass Dimitri. I’m gonna try one of these on my Tavor 7.
I am putting this on my MVP right now.
Love mine! Glass is a little less than my raptor but I’ll take it all day for that price, can’t beat it. So excited to get my hands on the new models!!!#ACSSFTW
MRO with ACSS and/or KISS reticle. Please and Thank You.
Keep up the good work my friends.
Bert Shackleford That would be Epic. I love the my MRO, but would love it even more with the ACSS
I have been wanting Accupoint with the ACSS/ or KISS
I have several of these optics for multiple platforms... one of my mounts had a stripped bolt, HAD to be my fault, emailed for just a replacement bolt, sent me the whole new mount!... customer service rocks, that’s why I only use and recommend Primary Arms!!!...
Kickass gear mang!
I have one bought and paid for from optics planet, just waiting for it to be stock and them to send it. Can't wait, got 24" bull barrel on order excited to pair them up.
Billy Davis 175gr Blk hils is a good load

Awesome shooting! I've got the R grid version and I love it primary arms freaking rocks. When is the R grid coming back out?
REQUEST--can u please make a vid on how u mount and set up that scope..leveling.
0 the scope at 100 and everything is ready. If you need additional input download Streloc Pro and you can change data to see what you should see in the scope. Thanks. So let say the target is at 650 yards instead of 600 yards even, how would you use the BDC?
This Is A BAD ASS Scope, I Have It On Remington 700 In .308, It Is DEADLY From 100yds Out To 1000yds...
Is this the new improved scope? If so, would it be a good match for a 6.5 Creedmoor?
I love both of my hud dmr 4-14 scopes. With that being said, I would love to see a platinum level 4-16 hud dmr scope. It would fill the gap between the platinum 1-8 and the 6-30.
Can you get this reticle without the extra dots on the main vertical line if you don't want the cross cal. platform? things are rarely at even yards or even .50
get with trijicon and their fiberoptics in that scope. you would have a big winner right there
I have a Savage model 10 24" bull barrel 1 in 9 twist think that scope would work with it using some 75gn ammo. Also have a 308win to use just hoping it would work with both?
I know there's obvious reasons why you don't make reticles for a larger array of calibers. But keep up the Innovation you're brilliant man.
I got this scope not too long ago, but the numbers are printed backwards.
Okay, I'm sold. NOOB here. New to long range shooting and need to buy a .308 and this scope. I want to smack some steel at 600 too -- and have an accurate rifle light enough for hunting. I put this scope on a 18” SPR. Then I moved states. And now I can find a range past 100 yards to utilize its capabilities. Nice scope though.
What’s the difference between the slx and the OPMOD (optics planet modification) 4-14x44 with this reticle. I just purchased the OPMOD because it’s the only place I could find this set up in stock. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

Wish there was a mid grade option around the same quality of a accupower with this reticle.
Can I ask what the purpose of the masking tape is on your ear pro?
I just used this scope on my M1A with 168 gr reloads. FAB U LOUS! Shooting made easy. I do need that level that is attached, what is it?
Hi can you tell what is good ammo for this optic?175gr or 168gr
What range do you sight the chevron in at?
Make a 2.5-10 PLEASE!!!
wish you made a 4-14 platinum
Nice.
There a scope for 7mm mag?
How about on a 6.5creedmoor?
What rings do you recommend for the pa going on a ruger American ranch -- and are those med or high rings
Low
Awesome vid! Nice Demo!
Nice
What barrel length 20”?
2 questions
A) are you aiming of the BDC reticle or scope adjustments?
B) is there or can you point me in the direction of a bullet drop calculator based upon the scope where I can enter in velocity and bullet type?
shannon howard Strelok has this reticle
Its BDC here you go www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-4-14x44mm-riflescope-acss-hud-dmr-308-223-reticle-pa4-14xffp308

Yay or nay for a 6.5 creedmor?
It's basically a .243,,the Creedmoor
👍
Fkn bolt guns...geez...lol Nice shootin.
Where are these scopes made ?
Same place as Vortex, depending on class of scope.
Cheap glass is made in China.
Midgrade glass is made in the Philippines.
Expensive glass is made in Japan.

Almost sure this is goung on my new a10 6.5 creed.
I’m not a bolt action guy so pardon my lack of knowledge. But why do guys feed one round at a time? Why not load the bottom Mag?
Silent Russian because often there are malfunctions and it scratches the round on the way in
Primary Arms, LLC
That makes sense,thanks.
Btw i picked up A Acog with a green aces for my scar. Love that thing 👍
4MOA ammo and poor quality remington still hits at 600yds
Remington quality 'eh...
everyone changes out the 700 stocks......it appears you don't have any problems with using that stock.....
