PA really is the best bang for the buck out there , the ACSS reticles they have put out are awesome ! nice review.
The ACSS reticles (different variations of the ACSS concept) were designed to "hit" human targets sitting still, walking or running with a rifle. I'm surprised that the Democrats haven't banned these reticles as "evil." If the Las Vegas shooter had used these scopes, liberals would have made them disappear like they did bump stocks. What's that? Not one American turned in their bump stocks after the unlawful "ban?" We just created hundreds of thousands of new criminals that we need new prisons built to hold them all. Thanks to the Democrats for wiping their collective asses with the American Constitution. Don't worry about illegal migrants, worry about the Democrats...build the wall around California.
I love my PA rifle scope. The ACSS reticle is my favorite of all my scopes.

I've enjoyed using this scope for about 2 years now. I use mostly bulk or mass produced ammo and my setup with this scope doesn't disappoint.
Just bought one of these for my AR, super stoked to get it out and stretch its legs!
PA is the best bang for the buck for optics and the ACSS raptor is my favorite for both X39 and 7.62 NATO. You are at the limit for 5.56 and within 1 MOA with standard 55 gr practice ammo. GGG is a deal as well.
What made me love the scope is that I was hitting 12" gong at 100 yards before I even touched the turrets when I went to sight it in.
One thing that gives you even more flexibility is the Trybe 2x magnifier that can go right on the end of an LPVO. Lots of extra range or target visibility with that addition.
I just picked this up and put it on my PTR-91. It’s so awesome to be able to reach out to 600 yards with the ACSS reticle 👍🏼🥳
I have owned one of these scopes for about a year and use it on my 3 Gun rifle, it has gone through 2 majors is beat up and still works, although I just discover a limitation of the optic this past weekend, but that was due to unusual rules and divisions. Still love it and will continue to use it, hits to 550 and 600 are easy and I followed the manual for zeroing with 75gr bullets and tracks perfectly at the longer distance.
I have tested this Raptor optic out to 600 yards and it was dead nuts!!
I bought one of these back in March and mounted it on a 5.56 carbine, but haven’t had a chance to get it to the range yet. I also own an earlier 1-6x ACSS SFP scope for my AK, and it works pretty decently (within the limitations of an AK); but I plant to remount it onto a .300 Blk SBR I have. I also own one of their micro RDS sights. I own several other much more expensive scopes from other brands which are mounted to bolt guns, but I’m fairly impressed with the quality of the PA scopes at their price point. Glad to know that the reticle actually works.
Have this same optic. First one I bought for my first ar. I made a great decision. Love this optic!
I have it on my LWRC and it is awesome. I love the fact that I can use it as a red dot for close quarters and as a scope and go to 4 or 5 hundred yards.

Took this out to the range yesterday and loved shooting it. The chevron tip makes it so easy to focus on. Buy it in First Focal Plane, its nice.
Mine will be here by lunch today!!! I have the same mount too. Giggidy! And to top it off, my Geissele SD-E trigger comes in today too!!!!!!!!!!

@@sategllib2191 They do have a store front but it's small. They have some of their scopes on display and a few AR parts/triggers. You mostly place your order online and pick it up in store. If you need to see something not on display a store associate will help you and they'll pull it from the warehouse. It's a big place altogether. I haven't received bad customer service but it is your typical gun shop experience. Most AR guys have always seemed a little standoffish.
@@TexasLeverGunner I live very close as well. The "display" is deeply discounted optics. The racks with parts are all clearance items not on the website. Same with the optics. Example would be the cyclops for 149, 3x acss prism for 189, and lots others.

I have a 1-8x24 on a PTR-91 and like it. Just had it out yesterday for the 4th! I haven't had a chance to stretch it out though.
I already have 3 different primary arms optics with ACSS reticles. My next one will be the Raptor ACSS.
I have one of these on my ar10. Just got it sorted out this weekend at 100. Shot a few at 300. Kinda sloppy but that was my own fault. Looking forward to getting it outside again
Although it was mentioned briefly, I think it would have been helpful to explain the differences and benefits/negatives of a First Focal Plane (FFP) and a Second Focal Plane (SFP).
I don't believe there is any comparable FFP variable optics near this price point.
I love my 1-6×24 ACSS. They have so many great reticles ,its hard to choose.
I shoot Primary Arms in competition and had 0 issues even after falling onto my rifle and breaking my leg during a run and gun. Very impressed

I have 4 PA ACSS optics, ordered number 5 today.
Put one on my ptr 91. So far so good. Btw that gun broke a vortex 4-10 so if it holds up I'm going to say it's great

You guys should do a test of suppressors. And see which one has the least point of impact change shooting with and without the can. Im trying to find a suppressor right now that the point of impact wont change going from shooting without the can to putting the can on. Sound suppression is 2nd on the list

I appreciate the video I ordered one two days ago. It was a blemish but I spoke with precision arms which I will say great to talk with. I understand warranty still the same plus for me a scratch is no biggie I rattle can all my rifle and gear optics. So a win win for me

If im not mistaken you can use the edge of the horizontal lines for 2.5 mph winds
ordered AR parts from PA and brownells july 1st i just received my parts from PA today july 3rd brownells havent even processed the order yet.
Imo this scope is best served with the extended mount, I seem to be running into an issue with scope box with the standard mount and my particular setup

these scopes are awesome I have several. I have this one in 7.62x39 on my ks47 and its crazy how good it shoots out to 300yds a 6' target at 300yds is rather boring even with the cheapest steel case ammo. I have the gen 1 1-6x on my 14.5' 223/5.56 a 2.5x on my 10.5' and probably my favorite is the 4-14x orion on my Grendel which had me on a 12'x18' steel in 4 shots the very first time I tried shooting 600yds. Cant wait to get the 3-18x or maybe another 4-14x for my 243win ruger American.
So is this part of their new silver series of optics?

I need the ACSS reticle on the VCOG
I've got the same basic rig, and it is sweet. At first I worried that I might be putting too little optic on too much gun. Not at all. It's so good it's boring.
On this 4th of July weekend, I have been reading and listening to the TV and UA-cam presenters and it’s time for all firearm owning Americans of all kinds to band together and march on Washington and declare our position loud and clear. I do not have the following to lead the fight, but if any of you, have the following to band together and organize some type of demonstration, I will volunteer my services to help in any capacity I can. I for one will not give up my guns because of any laws that are passed that supersede the Second Amendment. The pledge I made when I joined the United States Army was to combat threats to the constitution both Foreign and Domestic. I was born in Cuba, my parents left Cuba in 1960 because of the same vitriolic socialist Gun confiscation talk that is going on now. The same thing has happened each time in Germany, Cuba and Venezuela in the last century and the results have been the same.. Any time the Government tries to disarm the population the result is tyranny. It is time now!For if not us, WHO? If not now WHEN!

I have a 18 inch black rain ordinance 6.5 grendel been looking at high power scopes bought a monstrum 6-24x50 gen 3 but when got them they were both were used supposed to be new but these got my eye seeing you can shoot without touching the turrets at different ranges accurately wonder how well they would work for hunting?
I thought people were switching to MIL rad scopes? Why did Primary Arms choose MOA adjustment over MILs?

That kind of bums me out about the OSS suppressor being too loud at the ear. The company claims that it’s very quiet compared to their competitors at the ear. I bought one a while back about a year ago and still waiting on my tax stamp to clear.

I've been eyeing that optic for a year now. Thinking about putting it on my fostech ar. Y'all are a bit late to this party.
Is there a reason this channel only "reviews" primary arms optics? Yeah, PA has a good reticle design but there are a lot of other 1-6x scopes for $400 that you could be looking at as well.
This or a 4-14x44 for my AR 10? To many to choose from. Mostly used in the 200-300 range.
Can anyone tell me if the reticle etched on this one ? Does it work without batteries ?
