High blood pressure and high a1c tend to come as a package deal. Would you consider giving your recommendations on how to control both on a budget? Prior to the pandemic I had lowered my a1c out of the danger zone and lost weight by going first low carb, then Keto. Well, with the supply issues of the pandemic, all that went out the window. With the grocery inflation afterward, and recent dental surgeries where I could not even eat nuts or seeds, I've lost all of those gains. I don't think full Keto would be sustainable long term, anyway. It stops working after awhile. You give some good recommendations on quality foods. But not all of us can afford Ezekiel bread and organic everything. Would you consider doing a video with your recommendations for healthy food at Aldis? Costco? Walmart? What's budget freindly that can help make ends meet financially, and stretch meals, but also provides an alternative to white rice, white potatoes, and low fiber, over processed bread?
Thank you, great information. I have a great idea for your next video: ONE OR SEVERAL DAILY MENUS THAT PROVIDE ALL THESE NUTRIENTS, SO WE CAN JUST REPEAT THEM FOR 2 WEEKS … & then frequently thereafter. All this great information is lost because we don’t know how to implement it, it’s just too complicated.
Yes, you can use dried garlic instead of fresh! Dried garlic, such as garlic powder or granules, still contains allicin, the compound that helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure. However, fresh garlic tends to have higher allicin content, so you might need slightly more dried garlic to get similar benefits. Aim for about 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder as a substitute for one clove of fresh garlic. Always consult your doctor if you're managing a specific condition.
@thelmathomas9399 sorry to hear that. There are several factors that play into conversion. From Vitamin C levels, L-argenine, L-Carnotine, to not using mouthwash. I notice the effect is about two hours later and it is such a difference I can feel it. However maybe you just were not low on NO.
High aldosterone causes sodium retention and potassium loss. Celtic salt is fine in moderation, but with high aldosterone, limit sodium and boost potassium. Consult your doctor for personalized advice. 😊
I am glad i came across this video. So much info . And now a new subscriber. I am very picky eater unfortunately so i try to substitute with vitamins. I would like to know the best to take for high bp as well as cholesterol. Which whey protein as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Dr just put me on 40mlg of lisinoprol. I dont like taking it. Keep up the great content
With raw garlic, ease into it. Take a tiny dot the first day and gradually work up to more. And/or take ginger with it. Raw garlic can make you feel very sick to the stomach til your stomach gets used to it. But ginger is Always good to keep on hand for many tummy ailments.
Yes, Crystal K-Salt (potassium salt) is generally safe if you don’t have kidney issues or high potassium levels. If you have concerns, check with your doctor!
Beet juice is great! It’s packed with nitrates that can improve blood flow and lower blood pressure. It may also help with endurance during exercise and support overall heart health. However, if you're watching your blood sugar, keep in mind it can be naturally high in sugar, so moderation is key. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it!
Consistency is key! My favorite tip: prioritize a mix of daily movement (like brisk walking) and a DASH-style diet-rich in veggies, fruits, and low-sodium choices. Small steps add up fast!
