Following your videos I recently was told by my doctor to stop taking my diabetes medication and the cholesterol too. I just order you supplements to help me keep my A1C down. It went from 10.9 to 6.9 in less then two months. So I am so glad I found this video so I could understand a little better what I am going to get. Thank you for your videos . ❤

Another key component to address is your mental, emotional, spiritual health to help combat diabetes. It’s important to face and release traumas fears that we hold within us that may be causing us stress .Those who have diabetes know that you can eat spinach all day, but if your stress levels are high, your blood sugar is going to be high. So it’s best to face these things head on as well and get the help through therapy, nature, spiritual connection, family system healing, breath work etc.

That’s Doc I really appreciate you! Started watching you about 5 days ago. You have helped me mentally! I’ve got down and disgusted with being a type 2 diabetic. I getting sloppy with my eating or not eating as I should! Then I would feel guilty about what I ate. I’m not trying to be grouchy but got that way the other day with my wife. She made a comment about me not sleeping well and I told her, “it’s not anything you mentioned I go to bed thinking about my diabetes, I wake up thinking about my diabetes and all day long I think about my diabetes!” Everything I do revolves around diabetes! Everything that goes in my mouth wether it’s food or liquid I think about is my blood going to go up?! I go to the gym or workout only because I have diabetes not to have fun! And as a Christian this bothers me! I ask God to heal me from this and if not help me to continue without getting discouraged but sometimes I do get discouraged and I have a little pity party! Sorry for going on so long! And again thank you for ALL you do doc! God bless you and your family!

As a type 3c diabetic, I have learned much about managing my diabetes, after SugarMD I know much more. While I still take long and short insulin my last A1C was 5.7, mostly thur diet, exercise and supplements. My big recommendation is, track everything. CGM, food log, supplement log, learn from you body what you can and can not do and what works and does not work.

It's sad when everyone stops and gets treats at the truck stop and you CAN'T.. Can't just order anything off the Restaurant menu.. CAN'T go to the Fair or Carnival cause theres NOTHING there for a diabetic to eat.. So what's the use on going out..SUCKS 😥

If you want to go to a fair go, eat buttered popcorn buy a sausage in a roll but do not wat the roll look for ways around things ...

    • @feliciazenn76
      @feliciazenn76 2 роки тому +6

I have been Type 2 for 30 years and very well controlled now after 20 years of trial and error. I eat out and I go wherever I want to go. It does require some preplanning on my part, but thanks to smart phones that is very easy to do. Look up the menu in advance and choose veggies and proteins, so there is no anxiety once at the restaurant. If I go to the fairs or carnivals, I choose things that I can share, so I don't eat the whole thing. A portion of some treat will not destroy your hard-work. Now this is with the caveat that you don't have a binge eating disorder or other eating disorder. If I know that I am going to have a special treat or eat out, then I make sure that my diet before and after are as clean as possible. It can be done safely. You don't have to hide out. 80/20 rule for balance. Eat clean 80% of the time and the 20% won't matter that much. Also, move more so that your body can use that extra glucose from the fair or eating out. I tend to go for longer walks on those days and the days after. I hope this helps.

As the wise doctor said, before starting any supplement, be sure to research whether your other medications or conditions will interact with it negatively. Hi. I have been a type 2 diabetic for over 21 yrs. It began with gestational diabetes with my elder 2 children, but 2 months after my 2nd was born, I was fully diagnosed. I had 2 take insulin injections when I was expecting my younger 2 children, after being on metformin & diet control only before that.
The reason I am messaging you is because I am on hydrocortisone steroid tablets indefinitely for a hormone problem I have - Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia - & although it fixes 1 thing, it has, I strongly believe, brought on my diabetes, as I was fine before being prescribed the hydrocortisone.
I was told I would have to take the hydrocortisone indefinitely, but I was wondering if you might know of a safe, natural alternative I might be able to take instead of the steroid, which does the same job.
I would GREATLY appreciate it if you could let me know as soon as possible.
    Thanks. Nagina, (Birmingham, UK).

Hello. Your video provides excellent information. But, can you limit them within 10 minutes or shorter? I noticed they are usually more than 20 minutes. Not ideal for diabetics. Keeping them shorter and direct to the point might be better for us. Thanks

My doctor just recently diagnosed me with 2 diabetes, at 61 years old. My fasting sugar was 124 and my a1c is 6.4. She wanted to put me on metformin but I said I wanted to try n lower it myself. I have an endocrinologist appt at the end of June. Not gonna lie, I'm scared and I hate taking meds. I thank you for making these videos but I don't know how to test my sugar bc I was never given a testing kit. I'm trying to make better food choices and finding a low impact exercise i can do bc I need 2 knee replacements. What supplement would you recommend? Wish me luck!

My endocrinologist does not metion reversel of diabetes. I told her what results I'm getting from the Keto diet and she is following my progress. The sugar MD is at least tring to free us from diabetes.❤ Talk to your doctor about diet, fasting and exercise. All the best to your healing.❤

      babbsd7235,
I was never given a testing kit either! You'd have to buy the test strips at a pharmacy and then, you'd get the monitor FREE. In the kit, there would be a booklet with instructions plus, the pharmacist would tell you how and when to test your blood glucose. If you've any other questions you can also ask the pharmacist, your doctor or any doctors right here on UA-cam. Good luck and take care 🙏

I came across SugarMD and so what your response and I also don’t like taking medicine and I told my doctor to let me change how I eat and what I eat. She gave me six months and I lost 40 pounds. I’m a Southern cook and it was really tuff at first. So how did things turn out for you? I hope all went well. I have recipes now that are delicious . 3:25 doc I try to stay away from anything that stimulates insulin production, and I eat as little as possible. My theory is I don't want to overload the pancreas and go from type 2 to type 1.

Hi Doctor. You were very informative in your video.
I have been experiencing lots of trauma. I also have Type 2 diabetes. My A1C was 9 point something.
Anyway, I have to see an endocrinologist and am taking 100ml of metformin 2x d. My blood sugar levels are not high.
    I also take turmeric.
What other supplement is ideal for me?
