I highly appreciate his views on science and technology and the corruption that is taking place in the name of science in Pakistan. But I think every guy should remain in his domain of expertise and not try to belittle or make fund of things which he does not understand like the religion of Islam. Islam never says that you should not seek medical attention or use the latest treatment in medicine. In fact it is highly recommended to seek medical attention. So the fact that he used this false argument to make this justification against religion shows that he is not an expert in this field and should abstain from giving advice in areas which are beyond his knowledge. I think this is what he tries to preach and does not practise this when it comes to religion.

The irony is that we honor Physical Laws (because the consequences are immediately visible) however have no qualms in ignoring morals / ethics.

Anyone can download past years JEE mains and JEE Advance papers. You will get to know it is tougher to get into IITs than MIT.
IITs are a great place for UG no question there...however their performance in the area of Research is not great.
@@vineetdeorari8017 your repeated comments shows that you don’t have full view or understanding.. research 🧐 is a factor of an enterprise in you.. the seed of knowledge has been sown now n you just wait for a period of 5 to 10 years.. India is transforming big time.. Just wait n see..
@@Arvindchauhan-qv6gd I have studied in an NIT and have many IITian collegues...IITs churn out excellent engineers however are far far behind lading universities in research, publications etc . It's a fact no need to get patriotic unnecessarily 🐒
@@vineetdeorari8017 then what do you think about me.. my brother has been a 5 ranker n studied in IIT Kanpur in 84 batch n he was part of the team at Intel which developed chips… so Pl don’t put it as patriotic debate.. probably what I meant is beyond your comprehension… as you are stuck in time immemorial…
@@vineetdeorari8017 it is not about IITs its about their alumini base and IIT advance. It is lack of fund available and lack of Innovative atmosphere that candidate go abroad after ug. But in terms of talent produces no one can beat iits.
He is my fav person in earth.
48:14 yes, including Dr Zakir, who is a fan of the Taliban, but when threatened with Modi, he moved to Malaysia and even lives there even after Taliban took over Afghanistan

It wasn’t gazali who wanted us to say “InShaAllah”
Once our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAWW) forgot to say InShaAllah and in response to that , revelations were stopped for a short term.
Then a next revelation came “mentioning to say ‘InShaAllah’ every time you aim to do something and repent to your God whenever you make a mistake”
This is not exact translation of the revelation.
But it wasn’t Gazali, it was from Allah.
I really like Mr hodbhoy in science matters this is his domain but I think Islam is not his domain you should stick with science subjects I hope no hard heart filling
I am 100% sure Qamar Cheema must have published his PhD thesis papers from them.
Where can i read about the expose of benthem publishers?
The Universe including our World is governed by Physical Laws.
e.g. fire will burn.
No amount of prayer or meditation will prevent fire from burning.
However it is the Creator of the Universe who has also established Physical Laws.
The Creator has also established moral / ethical Laws governing the human society.
The irony is that we honor Physical Laws (because the consequences are immediately visible) however have no qualms in ignoring morals / ethics.
Sir do you see west is braised on Asia's discovery which they attributes as themselves though they don't from long ago but they do get attribution of long life Asia's discovery?
There is a need to downgrade 80% of our Universities to undergraduate colleges.
Furthermore ensure that these colleges are maintained as good institutions.
Why arent u doing interviews/podcast as a live stream ? Anyways love the content. Next we need an economist please. Maybe comparison b/w India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh, what is each country doing right/wrong ?

1 question though...
I couldn't find the relevancy of "midnight mass" ... (though I loved it)... why did u mention or recommended it to pervez sb.... don't see any reason why it will interest him
Do you think, the decline in IQ levels in Pakistan has a lot to do with cousin marriages which are so prevalent in that society?
1:47:00 sir, i remember the idol drinking milk, water incidents. Almost all educated people make fun of the Capillary action. I remember my Dad & Mom where like "here goes media fooling gullible ppl".
Dr. Hoodbhoy should have migrated to India. He would have recieved all dignity and honour he really deserves.
1:46 you have wrong perception about bjp, bjp government promoted lots of projects in science and technology , when modi was elected in 2014 , he started various initiative like startup india, digital india, research in Artificial intelligence, and advance material,
new education policy is introduced by bjp government ,
Recently allocated 10 billion dollar for semiconductor manufacturing,
If we can study ancient greek science and math then why not india vedic maths ,if something's useful and rational
Single national curriculum is totally baseless thing....🚫

State establishments of countries like Pakistan will never allow their educational systems be based on cause and effect .How a child of 5to10 can understand sadiq and amin or zati badla vs dini badla!?
India should poach hoodhboy ,Hume inke jarurat hai.
You have problem with metaphysical explanations. I got your point Mr hoodbhoy. Can you be so kind as to provide the proofs from Imam Ghazal's writings or shall we take your words for it.
