Hey man Just wanted to say fantastic video, im using this as a template for my firet honor run and it looks fantastic. I do have 1 question, how are you ever equipping bows/phalar aluve with 12 wizard and no racial proficiency??
You don't need weapon proficiency to equip a weapon. The weapon proficiency only determines if you can use the special/unique weapon actions from the weapon, like Brace or Lacerate. However this does not include the special abilities or passive features a weapon might have. So if we for example take a look at Phalar Aluve, we are unable to use it's weapon actions; Lacerate, Rush Attack and Pommel Strike because we are not proficient with this weapon, but we are able to use it's special ability Shriek because the proficiency doesn't matter only that we have it equipped. The same also goes for the passive features of a weapon. For example with the Hellrider Longbow, we again can't use any of it's weapon actions, however we do get the +3 initiative bonus from it's passive feature because we have it equipped.
Honest question:would you say its worth it to run necro,or just bite the bullet and go spore for the army? I ask because there's so many mixed opinions on both that it's really hard to get an answer.
I would say its worth it to go necro instead of spore, but that's mainly because I don't find summons to be very good. They're useful to gain some utility for your build. But they are by no means a main damage source, which is mainly caused by their low hit chance, especially against bosses. So I find it better to put your focus on trying to get you own damage output as high as possible and see your summons only as an additional tool to gain control over the battlefield by distracting or blocking certain enemies. And for this purpose you don't need to go into spore druid.
Yes, it's modded, I used Vemperen's Other Heads or Faces of Faerun for her head preset. I can't remember with exact head preset I took though, you need to find that out yourself, sorry. At 1:43:30 when the Netherbrain is at 101 hp, why not make an offhand attack on the Netherbrain to potentially deal 1 dmg? I mean you didn't need the bonus action for anything else, you still had arcane acuity, speed potion and everthing else up.
Idk 🤔It looks like I decided just to heal, probably because I wouldn't be able to finish the Netherbrain in this turn anyway, even if I deal the one missing damage. But yea, it would have been better to try that, since it guarantees the kill next turn.

I was able to buy it. The way you do it is by looting more or less everything on your way to the grove. Inside the grove is also a lot of stuff that you can just take and it doesn't count as stealing. But if you don't have enough money to immediately buy everything this is totally fine. For example the Hunting Shortbow is not a very important item that you desperately need for this build.
