what a amazing video, loved it, would love to see the times you did die on the run, like where they just some bad luck and accident input or Honor mode just being pretty difficult
About 18ish of my deaths occur in the first hour of the game when I fight those bandits inside the Ruin at level 2, that fight is basically entirely RNG reliant since neither I at that early don't have very great hit chance, and the Barbarian enemy can literally one shot me if he crits and high rolls the damage (and thanks to reckless attack he crits pretty often), so very often I would just get unlucky miss a lot of attacks and get rolled by them. Other than that, most of my deaths occur in Act 1, when my strategy fails due to either missed attacks since my hit chance is so low (50-70% hit chance which isnt exactly the most consistent) levels 1-6 (E.G. if I miss my attacks against the Paladin of Tyr or Inquisitor W'wargaz since they have pretty high AC) or if I ever get CC'd by an enemy (E.G. Getting Held Person'd by Ethel). I generally speaking though take strategies that have a high statistical likeliness of resulting in a favorable outcome for me, so even if I miss a couple attacks, I usually still manage to win. In Act 2, I pretty much only ever die to Myrkul (I hadn't come up with the build I used in this video until this run), me being higher level with the way better equipment available makes most of the other combats in Act 2 a cake walk. I never died in Act 3, this run is the only time I ever made it to act 3, and I cleared it first try. Your character level and the items available in Act 3 just make every boss fight there pretty easy if you have a solid strategy going in (hence why the closest to death I ever get in Act 3 are against non-bossfight encounters, that I didn't have a set plan for). By far the rule that leads to my most deaths is the lack of health potions from the consumable item ban. Not being able to have any healing unless my build has it is a devestating punishment since it means basically any damage I take is permanent for that combat. Although since, I play entirely ranged builds in this run, its still relatively easy to space out enemies and avoid damage. When I do this challenge again with new rules added (no respeccing, and melee centric builds only), its going to be significantly harder, and probably gonna cook me even harder.
Came here after successfully finishing my own first honor mode run. It is extremely weird (though not in a bad way necessarily) to hear the OST to another of my favorite games while watching BG3 content. You have good taste, sir!

im glad you mention the oliver fight. i feel like pretty much every vid on honor mode skips him, even though i feel like its one of the most interesting and challenging encounters for where it is in the game.
Great vid, Really loved the premise and how you swapped through builds for optimised boss battles, and you really know your builds! Also loved the bosses as pokemon. If I were to give a tiny minor criticism, your voice over still felt a little instructional, but then that's fair enough you usually do guides. Keep up the awesome work!
Yeah, i know what you mean with my voice, I have an extremely hard time showing proper emotion with my voice when Im reading a script, but then when Im unscripted Im honestly super incoherent and all over the place (this fact will be made obvious when I release the vod). I will continue to strive to get better at my Voice over though!
@@Stealth_07I actually really liked your voice over. It’s more calming to listen when you don’t put too much emotion into it, but it also wasn’t like you were reading over an instruction manual. People might disagree with me, but I honestly don’t think you need to change your voice over
Wow, your solo run was nothing short of epic! Tackling those scenarios that seemed impossible solo is some serious gaming skill right there! Your style has breathed new life into the game for me. I'm totally onboard with applying your rules to my new playthrough, though I'm giving myself a bit of leeway. I'm running a duo on Tactician mode, soloing each combat encounter twice: once with melee and the next with a caster. I allow myself a buff or two that last until a long rest. Speaking of builds, I've been toying with the idea of a snow bard build vibe, leveraging magical secrets or a dip into another class. This build could capitalize on the frozen status from chilled and wet conditions. However, I also see potential for a barbarian or a monk to take advantage of the burgeoning vulnerability caused by the frozen status. Again, thank you for sharing all your thoughts and techniques. Please keep those epic runs (or builds) coming!
Doing my first tactition run and it's definitely been a challenge but not only is this video entertaining and amazing to watch but it also helps me progress my run. I wanna thank you especially for showing your myrkul build as I'm not gonna lie I gave up playing for a while as i kept getting beat 2 days straight as that fight kept beating me but after watching your build I was able to beat him today. So thank you and keep making these amazing videos.
My favorite way to deal with helsin portal defense is to use steel storm to constantly prone the enemies that comes to attack the portal then you just attack the small group of shadow that comes from the water side and its a lot easier to do that way
Perfect job! Great min-maxing and everything. I like the Myrkul strategy although I believe everyone must have it same bugged as I do (sometimes it crashes, sometimes 2 Ketherics spawn, sometimes dialogue does not start etc.) so you were lucky if it passed correctly for the first try without reloading, but I guess you did it millions of times anyway :) Actually you are using quite the same builds for the solo honour as I do, but I did not finish it yet :D I don't want to use respec and illithid powers tho, mabye it's impossible.
Ngl, seeing someone do a difficult challenge in this game but still choose to be kind to all the NPCs and rescue everyone they can?? ❤ Idk it just makes me happy to see someone be strategic but softhearted

@@Stealth_07 it's definetly not a deal breaker, and I'm sure it'll come with practice
@@Stealth_07I actually really liked your voice over. It’s more calming to listen when you don’t put too much emotion into it, but it also wasn’t like you were reading over an instruction manual. People might disagree with me, but I honestly don’t think you need to change your voice over
This is far more interesting and entertaining to watch than any speed run content.
Fitting all this into an hour vid is incredible. Good work!
I love the number of classes and subclasses ysed. It really shows that each class has a role and their time to shine
OMG I love that U had "rivers in the desert" in the background!!! Its gotta be my favorite ost
Please keep those epic runs (or builds) coming!
dude your BG3 vids are just as entertaining as the deeprock ones! i love your playstyle here!
Incredible video! Really fun to watch!
by far one of the most underrated videos ive seen on this platform
SIr you have spoiled me with your build videos, I just cant look at any other ones now. thanks for your videos!
Yeah! They're edited so fucking well and I like how there's a cute intro to go with the combat
Having P5 music in the background if any video immediately makes it better.
Great video, man.
BG 3 content with persona music can't go wrong
My favorite way to deal with helsin portal defense is to use steel storm to constantly prone the enemies that comes to attack the portal then you just attack the small group of shadow that comes from the water side and its a lot easier to do that way
The editing reminds me of Ymfah's videos , and I love it . Nice vid
Perfect job!
Great min-maxing and everything.
I like the Myrkul strategy although I believe everyone must have it same bugged as I do (sometimes it crashes, sometimes 2 Ketherics spawn, sometimes dialogue does not start etc.) so you were lucky if it passed correctly for the first try without reloading, but I guess you did it millions of times anyway :)
Actually you are using quite the same builds for the solo honour as I do, but I did not finish it yet :D
I don't want to use respec and illithid powers tho, mabye it's impossible.
Ngl, seeing someone do a difficult challenge in this game but still choose to be kind to all the NPCs and rescue everyone they can?? ❤ Idk it just makes me happy to see someone be strategic but softhearted
After almost 1200 hours in game I consider myself pretty skilled and tactical. But this here was on a waaaay different (and higher, of course) level. Kudos man. I enjoyed this a lot

If you just cast Darkness on the portal, it prevents any ranged attacks from targeting it.
the michael reeves reference in the intro got me, that’s amazing
That cinematic "cool girls don't look at explosions" at 28:01 tho
