Kahvozeins Fang, as a quest item, won't be removed even when you are in quests that remove all items from you. Which basically means you can glitch yourself this weapon into the thalmor embassy, the markarth mines and even Pelagius' mind. This can glitch some things though.
Yeah I originally came across it by accident tomb raiding, realized I couldn't drop it or get rid of it so I looked up what it was for... I was probably only lvl 30 in Alteration at the time so it was a big "oh well" for me, least you can make some money with it. - if I'm not mistaken heartscales count as part of the quest too so they don't add any carry weight picking them up.
I'm actually curious on how the glitch would work beyond those locations giving how much oversight Bethesda was used in the game mechanics because Bethesda
Fun fact, if Kahvozeins Fang does glitch in your inventory and you're not able to drop it, you can place it on a weapon mount to remove it. But it will still be glitched in your inventory whenever you take it back.

I could have sworn I took on the missing students quest when I first played on the 360. I vaguely remember having a quest marker on the one messed up by the skeevers and just thinking how hilarious it was, and having to report back.
I played it years ago. Sure it's something to do with the guantlet under winter hold and you put 4 or 5 special rings on the fingers that the lost apprentices have.
I love using Zephyr. It’s been my go to bow every time I play Skyrim (I always play archers in Skyrim) also it’s original owner is voiced by the actress who voiced one of my favourite game series title character. I lost it when I heard her voice (Yes I know she voices other characters but that’s the first time I heard her voice without any accent or vocal embellishment.)
If you combine the chaos damage enchantment with fire/ice/lightning damage enchantment it actually boost both enchantments. If you have all the destruction and enchantment perks boosting these enchantments the damage can go over 100 for each enchantment.
During my archer build run, Zephyr was my main bow. The 30% extra pull time accompanied perfectly with the skill point that does so. I was trained in smiting, so I was able to consistently upgrade it. And while it’s still much weaker than it’s other options…the speed of which you can fling arrows is criminal.
13:17 i found the girl that died messing with fire spells from the cut Missing Apprentices quest! her corpse was surrounded by still flaming debris and there was a flame cloak spell tome next to her lol. i always wondered what the deal behind it was, thanks for mentioning the backstory!
If you pay attention to the dialogue at The College of winterhold, there is a conversation about missing students, and he says one of them was doing experiments with Skeevers, the area with the Skeevers is not to far from the college either if you go exploring out into the sea and surrounding area so you can put two and two together, he also tells you about the Honningbrew mead experiment and the other girl with her fire, I don’t remember the name of the person that tells you but it’s definitely in the game.
Quest Reward Leveller is one of my favorite mods, in skyrim and oblivion. It does exactly what you'd expect: if you have an item with diffrent stats based on level in your inventory, it'll upgrade it for your current level.
There's actually a mod on Steam that'll re-introduce the Missing Apprentices quest into the game. If no new dialogue was recorded for the quest, the quest itself seemed like it was mostly done anyways so I'm still not sure why it was excluded in the first place.
It also has a stacking damage effect based on your destruction skill in vanilla, i had one weapon doing upwards of 900 base per hit when all 3 effects procced
@@rumham7631 it's actually rewarding , you are able to make god tier weapons , legit, through perks and little quirks like that , but it takes a long ass time and by that time ur mostly done with the games bigger questlines
I installed a mod to let you not kill parthunaax, basically it adds a few snippets of text dialogue of the dragon born basically saying to the blades "back off mofos! I'm the dragon born and what I say goes" lol
Here is a tip for Kahvozein's Blade: If you get beat the High Gate Ruins dungeon BEFORE getting the Blade, you will be locked out of the treasure room since you need to beat the Priest in order for the gates to open. If you are stuck, here is what I did. First, you need a follower, doesn't matter who so long as you can command them. For me, it was Lydia since she is the first one that popped into my mind. Next, you need to go to where the exit of the treasure room is, which is near the entrance of the dungeon, climb into the rumble that is nearby and use all three words of the Whirlwind Sprint Shout to dash to the other side until you are near the closed gate. Here is where you need to pay attention. Since your follower cannot follow you up to the gate, you wait an hour and they will spawn next to you. Then you talk to your follower and, while being close to the closed gate, command them to pull the chain lever. They will do so, but if course, they will be unable to since the gate is closed in front of them. Now here is the tricky part, be sure you are standing literally IN FRONT OF THE CLOSED GATE while the follower is doing the command and wait an hour once again. If you do it correctly, the follower will glitched on the other side of the gate! Then command them once again to pull the chain lever, they will do so and the gate will be open! And now you are on your way to collect the blade! Hope this tip helps anyone who is stuck with the Alternation side quest.
It only happens if you leave it sitting there until the blades give you the "parthanax ultimatum". It's listed as owned by the blades faction, so when you're booted from the blades for that quest, it will be "stolen" if taken.
My favorite weapon, that is kind of a secret is the ghost ethereal looking weapons. They function like regular weapons, but they look transparent like the ghosts do.
i made it a mission to get my character legendary in each skill, then i did again, then i did again. 800 hours later now i have each skill at legendary 4 besides smithing, enchanting and all the schools of magic.
Borever's Dagger is canon. I was speaking to NPCs around the College, there were some who mentioned the missing students, while another NPC tells you about the student who wanted to use Ice Magic to make Mead better than Honningbrew. You just never get sent to find them.
Zephyr would’ve been cool if it had some sort of custom texture or model with some signs of overgrowth that hints at the fact that the weapon was abandoned when Katria died, and also would’ve given it a similar aesthetic to the log it rested on for a while
There is so much lore and items and things to do in Skyrim and all of it is really cool it seems like every time I play and I wander off somewhere I find something new and cool.
One incident that repeatedly keeps me laughing each time I enter a dungeon is hearing a drunk bandit say “ Two 3’s, what was he thinking?” It sends me in lol a lot😂😂😂😂😂
Dragon Bane! Really useful against dragons (main quest best ítem), fortuneatly I had been upgrading sword skills and dwal wield, so It became quite a thing after finishing the main story line 🤟🔥💯 (still trying to beat the side quests in the hardest dificulty, though as it don't give no better stats ítems nor experience, it's just for fun challenge, might try to get the bow Zephyr to help on It now 😉)🙏
Most of these come from side quests and exploring. ALWAYS EXPLORE!!!! Besides… it’s super nice to be OP from all the side quests before you do the main stories. Lol

"Be weary" is like saying be tired. You're looking for wary, which is cautious. I don't understand how half of the english speaking world can't get that straight.
When you loot the Zephyr bow you can also loot her corpse (and her armor) prompting her to have secret dialog where she will say " You could've atleast kept my dignity intact and kept my clothes on"
Once I was playing for 3 years and my little sister loaded my gameplay 2 years ago and left and I lost 2 years of process and I couldn't load it back. But then I wa slaying it like 14 hours a day and now I'm further than i was, in like 2 months
I downloaded skyrim for good memories and I grinded soo hard I beat the game, killed miraak and collected a ton of unique weapons/armour/staffs all in 2 months.
@Justin Luigi B. De Los Santos i have found that heavy armour and one handed weapons are extremely op, (enchanted) from there just do the main story quests and learn the "dragonrend" shout and the game is pretty much done
Umm Skyrim has an archive of saves. So usually I would give you credit but, it’s obvious you’re lying! If that was the case you could just load back to the save BEFORE she loaded ur old character. But thus is youtube, people lie for attention, and they receive.
Note about Dragonbane. If you run ahead of Esben and Delphine yoh can grab the blade and it wont be listed as steal/stolen. I’ve done this every play through I’ve played. You do t have to join the Blades either. (Idk about anniversary additions but ever other one fine). 1:30
Borvir’s dagger attack speed is faster than a normal dagger which means higher dps. Secondly since it’s faster, when equipped on your left hand with another one handed weapon the character attacks quicker. Because when dual wielding the speed of your attacks calculate from the weapon in your left hand, so it is useful unlike said in the video.
For those wondering. Nate is using a weapon retexture mod that alters physical appearence and visual effects of weapons. Don't remember the name. Just an FYI for those curious. GG Nate have a good one
@@drfreakenstein2912 Must have mod! I'm honestly surprised Bethesda doesn't give all named weapons at least some slight visual variation. Sadly if Fallout 4 is anything to go by they are doing even less to visual differentiate "unique" weapons.
The destruction perks that boost spell damage also affect enchantments, champion's cudgel included, and boost the other enchantments with each perk iirc
Kahvozein's Fang upgraded to Legendary is what saves my ass when I go out selling my armor and weapons, only wearing my fine clothes. Those damn dragons like to attack Falkreath whenever I exit a store having just sold all my equipment. Mind, I'd still rather have my enchanted greatsword, but the Fang will do when my only other option would be magic or shouts.
Though rare, you can get Chaos Damage enchantments on other randomly generated loot. So if you want to save the Cudgel for a collection, you can still use the enchantment for other things
tubefan90000 I find at least 3 weapons with that enchantment before I finish the Miraak quest line. It’s better to wait and save it for a collection, since you’ll find at least one before you’re finished with Solstheim.
Intrigued by Zephyr...I think I did that quest but don't recall collecting the bow, or if I did I didn't really think much of it compared to what I was already using. I LOVE the thought of Dragonbane though!

Anybody else end up watching these kinds of videos when you get home drunk, put together some food, and need to put something on to watch…?
Yes
I could have sworn I took on the missing students quest when I first played on the 360. I vaguely remember having a quest marker on the one messed up by the skeevers and just thinking how hilarious it was, and having to report back.
It isn’t a cut quest I just got it on the ps3 an hour ago
Yeah it's still a quest
The "cut" college quest is still in the game
@@GimmickBox39 Pro Tip: "Cutting Room Floor"
I played it years ago. Sure it's something to do with the guantlet under winter hold and you put 4 or 5 special rings on the fingers that the lost apprentices have.
@@kellymariedobinson3557 gonna check this out 😂
I love using Zephyr.
Cool
That explains why in his last dying breaths, the General ends up killing me so fast.
2:37 everybody gangsta till the dragonborn starts killing the air
13:17 i found the girl that died messing with fire spells from the cut Missing Apprentices quest! her corpse was surrounded by still flaming debris and there was a flame cloak spell tome next to her lol. i always wondered what the deal behind it was, thanks for mentioning the backstory!
... .. ... ... .. duuuude... DUUUUDE!
I found that too!!!
Me too I found it two days ago and thats where I learned the spell
If you pay attention to the dialogue at The College of winterhold, there is a conversation about missing students, and he says one of them was doing experiments with Skeevers, the area with the Skeevers is not to far from the college either if you go exploring out into the sea and surrounding area so you can put two and two together, he also tells you about the Honningbrew mead experiment and the other girl with her fire, I don’t remember the name of the person that tells you but it’s definitely in the game.
Quest Reward Leveller is one of my favorite mods, in skyrim and oblivion. It does exactly what you'd expect: if you have an item with diffrent stats based on level in your inventory, it'll upgrade it for your current level.
give Mjoll the Cudgel, give her good heavy armour and she becomes a one-woman army, she'll kill out forts, execute dragons...awesome !!!
There's actually a mod on Steam that'll re-introduce the Missing Apprentices quest into the game. If no new dialogue was recorded for the quest, the quest itself seemed like it was mostly done anyways so I'm still not sure why it was excluded in the first place.
I just talked to one of the professors who asked me to find them, and explained what they were doing. I play on PS4 without any mods ._o
@@DangerousDerp the dialogue is in the game but the actual quest is missing
Nate, did you know that "Chaos Damage" does more damage when applied to Stahlrim weapons?
If I had to guess, it could be because of Stahlrim weapons' relation with frost enchantments
It also has a stacking damage effect based on your destruction skill in vanilla, i had one weapon doing upwards of 900 base per hit when all 3 effects procced
MrxxxMisery gaming doesnt that make the game boring though?
@@rumham7631 it's actually rewarding , you are able to make god tier weapons , legit, through perks and little quirks like that , but it takes a long ass time and by that time ur mostly done with the games bigger questlines

Here is a tip for Kahvozein's Blade:
If you get beat the High Gate Ruins dungeon BEFORE getting the Blade, you will be locked out of the treasure room since you need to beat the Priest in order for the gates to open.
Hope this tip helps anyone who is stuck with the Alternation side quest.

indiana jones would cringe himself out of existence if he ever heard nate pronounce that word that way.
his inability to pronounce most words is honestly kinda endearing
Dragonbane has never been marked as stolen in any of my many playthroughs.
It only happens if you leave it sitting there until the blades give you the "parthanax ultimatum". It's listed as owned by the blades faction, so when you're booted from the blades for that quest, it will be "stolen" if taken.
@@Hengebobs Oh ok. I've never experienced that specific scenario before. I've always taken it on my first entry into Sky Haven Temple.

They aren't that bad, the sword carried me through much of an early legendary playthrough
I have one of each type of weapon decorating breezehome. They look cool.
i made it a mission to get my character legendary in each skill, then i did again, then i did again. 800 hours later now i have each skill at legendary 4 besides smithing, enchanting and all the schools of magic.
I'm actually grateful that the devs forgot about Borvir's resting place. It was my first "home" and storage before I could even buy a proper house.
13:16 "Mole Rats" When did fallout get in skyrim?

Borever's Dagger is canon. I was speaking to NPCs around the College, there were some who mentioned the missing students, while another NPC tells you about the student who wanted to use Ice Magic to make Mead better than Honningbrew. You just never get sent to find them.
Zephyr would’ve been cool if it had some sort of custom texture or model with some signs of overgrowth that hints at the fact that the weapon was abandoned when Katria died, and also would’ve given it a similar aesthetic to the log it rested on for a while

Though rare, you can get Chaos Damage enchantments on other randomly generated loot. So if you want to save the Cudgel for a collection, you can still use the enchantment for other things
