The Wabbajack is the ultimate dragon killing weapon. It’s the equivalent to a dragon, as a Dongfeng-41 intercontinental ballistic mission is to a bunch of preschoolers.
I've always thought it wouldve been cool if dawnbreaker had a similar mechanic as the ebony blade, growing stronger the more you clear undead tombs with it, with the trigger being killing the boss draugr of any tomb you're in. It's such a cool looking weapon and the theme and enchant are amazing, but it's just so shit once you're up to like, glass or ebony gear, which is pretty fast imo
What's hilarious is that when I did the dawnbreaker quest, I found one by itself alone, So I grabbed it, and then I grabbed the one that the marker pointed and ended up with two. *Epic moment of the quest*
I loooove partying with my boy Sanguine and then going home with a present. The artifact may not be the strongest but Sanguine is such a bro that he gives it to you just for hanging out with him
Clavicus' Masque is definitely my favourite helmet in the game. The fact that you can combine it with Ebony Mail and still get the Matching Set bonus, and they look so good together. It was perfect for a heavy armoured stealth archer sort of build.
It's ugly, but damn... I love the benefits it bestows. I can wear that ugly thing in public and not give a damn because my character's gonna' pass speech checks and get great prices on stuff. =)

Dawnbreaker is usually the very first unique item I go for in the game in addition to finishing the companions storyline for the shield of ysgramor. Really good pair.
I use my favorite 5 through the majority of play... Dawnbreaker Mace of Molag Bal Spellbreaker Black Star Ring of Namira The combination of those used altogether is fantastic. Dawnbreaker is good for all enemies, especially undead and if you use Mace of Molag Bal in the other hand it siphons health, stamina and soul traps, which is where Black Star comes in and Namira's Ring gives you even more stamina. When you need to utilize blocking in lieu of double handed melee you switch to Spellbreaker!
Yes, I was about to say that when I saw your comment. Shalidor is usually seen as the mage who advocated for higher standards among mages and for discouraging spell use among the common people. This kinda conflicts with Vanus Galerion's declared goal of "bringing the magic to the masses", making magic items and potions (and even spells) available to anyone who could pay - that is why he founded the Mages Guild. Shalidor is usually known for being the mage who originally organized and formed the schools of magic, and Vanus Galerion's role as founder of the Mages Guild sometimes make people attribute this organization of magic to him, when in fact it was probably Shalidor who did it.
@@farhansaber9330 No, later. Shalidor's most famous exploits, such as his clash with Clan Rourken, are associated with the First Era, Vanus Galerion was born in, and consequently (there not being a Dragon Break at the time) founded the Mages Guild during, the Second Era.
@@LordInsane100 Yeah yeah after commenting I realized that Shalidor had interactions with the Dwemer who were gone quite some time before. Also, even in ESO Shalidor is but a ghost but Vanus Galerion is still around.
I've never had Sam spawn in anywhere except Whiterun, and I still play regularly. Definitely my favorite side quest though, especially since it was inspired by The Hangover.
Spellbreaker shield is my favorite ^_^ Its useful against all magic users -especially Pyromancers and Cryomancers. BUT did you know, *Dragon Shouts* also qualify as magic! So this shield is effectively an anti-dragon shield, allowong you to block a shout attack! Just bring that shield up and *HOLD* your block button, and after you stagger back (since dragon shouts that deal damage go beyond 50), and after your stagger animation, the shield automatically goes right back up. You're invincible as long as you face your enemy and keep the shield up.
Fun fact! I was able to obtain TWO dawnbreakers! While fighting Malkoran, dawnbreaker was hit(knocked off the pedestal), which I then picked up. Meridia still gave me dawnbreaker-but now I have two, and often use both when in battle!
Fun fact Malacath has another artifact called Scourge, which is a mace that will banish any Deadra struck by it and even Deadra who try to wield it will be sent back to oblivion
Another interesting detail about Dawnbreaker, is that it will occasionally glow. The glow can be either rather dim or quite bright, as if the blade had been heated by the very sun itself. I think it's supposed to do this around undead, but to me it seems to happen randomly.
Another thing about Dawnbreaker is that it can sense undead and tells you when umdead are near by shining even brighter. Dawnbreaker is probably the single most powerful sword in the Skyrim game since most mobs you deal with are undead or a variation of the undead. Drauger, vampires, wraiths/wisps are some of the most common enemies you stumble across. Making Dawnbreaker a much desired asset in a vanilla playthrough of Skyrim.
I would proffer to ignore the helmet entirely get it in another run for the achievements and just keep the immortal dog follower and never grab the axe
Same. I only ever actually finished that quest once (refusing to hurt him of course), and that save file just wasn't the same anymore without him following me.
On my opinion. Barbas is the best Daedric quest reward from skyrim. He's a dog, he has infinite health, and you only have to do half a quest to get this permanent companion. + He never goes away and he can be used alongside your existing companion. I always go for this option, even though the mask is awesome. Having Barbas at your side for the entire game is much more worth it (in my opinion)
My favorite is the razor. The moment I held it, I never let it go and became my main weapon until the end. I fell in love to it's badass aesthetics and it's special effects is just second. It would have even more badass if bethesda add a crimson glow around that menacingly badass looking dagger.
I still remember first playing through meridias quest. The quest glitched near the end and gave me two dawn breakers. I duel wielded those two swords like crazy. Thanks Todd.
I like actually not finishing the Clavicus Vile quest because the dog follows you everywhere and fights with you. A very good companion that can kick butt and never die.

@@joostboekelder They are the stats for the mask of C.V. Just an editing error. I also noticed a couple of other mistakes: You do not sell Gleda the goat to giants, but A giant. And you don't steal the wedding ring from Ysolda, you borrow it. And Sebastian Lort, "some dude", got the Rueful Axe from C.V. to kill his daughter, "some monster thing", a werewolf. Why leave that info out? Also Sam Guevenne doesn't just randomly appear in a random inn, but the first one that you enter at lvl 14. These are entertaining videos but I can't but wonder does this guy play the game himself at all or is he just a narrator? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but all those mispronunciations in Many previous videos on Many names you hear Many times during gameplay, and these kind of sloppy errors with the lore and details may mean that he actually doesn't.
You missed a big part about the Rueful Axe. "One of Clavicus's little jests. A wizard named Sebastian Lort had a daughter who worshiped Hircine. When the daughter became a werewolf it drove Sebastian over the edge. He couldn't stand to see his little girl take on such a bestial form. I still say the Wabbajack is the best. I can't help but love Sheogorath
The Wabbajack is the ultimate dragon killing weapon. It’s the equivalent to a dragon, as a Dongfeng-41 intercontinental ballistic mission is to a bunch of preschoolers.
@@arcader8138 mehrunes dagon is better
@@remizu2901 If luck is on your side, absolutely.
I love the mace of molag bal, it makes me feel like a badass demon when I use it
I shouldn't have had to scroll this far to find someone else that loves this weapon! It's just so brutal looking.
The Dawnbreaker is not only one of my favorite Daedric artifacts, but also one of my favorite weapons in the game.
One thing I can say about Meridia's Dawnbreaker is that it ties well into playing Dawn Guard
5:50 so interesting how they coded a weapon differently to give you armour instead of damage just for a side quest incredible!
Just listening to Skyrim music while doing homework. Perfect timing as always Nate

Sanguine in all my play throughs: to Whiterun!
Xbox Gamer 75 it changes depending on the race you choose and when you hit the level needed to unlock him.
Captin Bob ok
He is always in some Inn that isn't even in a town or city for me.
He was in the bee and barb for me, the only reason I found him was because Marcurio freaking disappeared with my wabbajack.
Markarth for me

A new* hand touches the beacon
A new hand touches the Bacon.
ANOTHER HAND TOUCHES THE CRYSTAL TESTICAL
Id rather remove her audio files
I use Timing is Everything to delay the placement of the beacon until I hit level 90.
What's hilarious is that when I did the dawnbreaker quest, I found one by itself alone, So I grabbed it, and then I grabbed the one that the marker pointed and ended up with two. *Epic moment of the quest*
It feels so weird to look back on skyrim's daedric quest with nostalgia. I haven't played in a while and yet the game still seems so prevalent.
The ebony mail looks exactly like normal ebony lol
@@zeikers No, it doesn't.
Wait... The rouken dwemer clan has 2 artifacts that fell into the hands of daedric princes, and Falion says he's "seen daedra, and dwemer"...
The rouken clan apparently somehow got to a plane of oblivion, and escaped their dissapearence event, where falion has witnessed them.
Valid living dwemer theory?

just like tod Howard said "it just works"
The Dawnbreaker quest was my first daedric quest and man was it good! Meridia is so badass, when she addresses the player it gives me chills

Dawnbreaker will always be my favorite becuase it was the very first artifact I got. “A new hand touches the beacon”
It’s crazy how Skyrim has been out for 8 years and me and everyone STILL finds new things
Merida still scares me to this day.

Playing through Skyrim again and found that in a chest. Backed away slowly.

You can find it more than once. I had it. I ignored her. I found it again. She gets angry.
A summary of what she says(ish):
"WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU IGNORING ME? DO WHAT I SAID."
To get Volendrung, you dont have to kill Yamarz, the giant will end up killing him anyways.
That’s cool DUKAT
I just left him there
I honestly don’t know why I’m still surprised when I see the notification for one of your Skyrim vids at this point, but who cares your vids are still awesome keep it up mate 👍🏿
2:40 I would like to point out that he is obviously in God mode. His carry weight is 1344 / 300. It's either that, or he is EXTREMELY patient.
He must have some of the overcumbered perks where to jog, it takes up stamina. He must have high stamina due to his high levels.
Why does it matter?
@@necronyx7176 Never said it did, I was just pointing it out
I love daedric artifiacts thanks for making vids like these
Dawnbreaker is usually the very first unique item I go for in the game in addition to finishing the companions storyline for the shield of ysgramor. Really good pair.
I was watching another video but THAT WILL HAVE TO WAIT!
I use my favorite 5 through the majority of play...
Dawnbreaker
Mace of Molag Bal
Spellbreaker
Black Star
Ring of Namira
The combination of those used altogether is fantastic.
Nitpick: Shalidor founded the College of Winterhold, not the Mages' Guild (that was Galerion, quite a bit later).
I was gonna say that, yeah. You beat me to it!
Wasn’t it earlier, not later?
Spellbreaker shield is my favorite ^_^
Its useful against all magic users -especially Pyromancers and Cryomancers.
Fire
I just dont complete the quest of barbas to keep him as an unkillable companion
Great idea
That’s brilliant, I think I’ll do that since I’m not that impressed by the masque’s perks

Yo nate even tho Iv watched almost all ur vids... I still enjoy watching them
12:38
Nate it's called a Quillon (pronounced as "kee-yawn") or Cross-Guard/Crossguard.
Fun fact! I was able to obtain TWO dawnbreakers! While fighting Malkoran, dawnbreaker was hit(knocked off the pedestal), which I then picked up. Meridia still gave me dawnbreaker-but now I have two, and often use both when in battle!
Hello Nate is guys here !
Fun fact
Malacath has another artifact called Scourge, which is a mace that will banish any Deadra struck by it and even Deadra who try to wield it will be sent back to oblivion
Bruh, I'll use a freaking warhammer to protect myself any day of the week, as long as it has good armor stats.
The vile mask is absolutely a reference to Loki’s horns
I would proffer to ignore the helmet entirely get it in another run for the achievements and just keep the immortal dog follower and never grab the axe
Smart
Same. I only ever actually finished that quest once (refusing to hurt him of course), and that save file just wasn't the same anymore without him following me.
Free dogs? Best quest ever.
Sure thing
Never to be seen again? He hangs out in that dungeon you go to to get to his realm. Helped me out in the companions queat
My favorite is the razor. The moment I held it, I never let it go and became my main weapon until the end. I fell in love to it's badass aesthetics and it's special effects is just second. It would have even more badass if bethesda add a crimson glow around that menacingly badass looking dagger.
Through a glitch I ended up with 2 Dawnbreaker swords so I was dual welding them for a while
Yeah one on the ground and one in the stand it's in every playthrough for me :'D
I still remember first playing through meridias quest. The quest glitched near the end and gave me two dawn breakers. I duel wielded those two swords like crazy. Thanks Todd.

One of the best daedric items I’ve acquired was the Skeleton Key. Because I can level up my Lockpick skills very quickly.
To answer your question, it's going well, Nate. :D
Love the vid as always! Had a rough day so this is EXACTLY what I needed. Some evil artifacts that make me feel less terrible for saying that wrong thing to the wrong person I did. I'm not perfect, dammit! But she just sat there silently judging. I hate when people do that. :(
Anyways, how are you Nate? Enjoying the life of a UA-camr? (I know the answer - yes and no.)
In Oblivion the Sanguine Rose would summon a random ass daedra at the target that would attack everything in sight, you included.
In that sense, it was one of those lulzy weapons in a similar vein to the wabbajack, and not really meant for serious play.
Unrelated to Skyrim, is anyone, good at Java? I really need help with setters and getters that involve user input across two classes. Figured a Skyrim video might yield some helpful responses

6:34 not to mention it also swings much faster than other warhammers making irs dps better than the dragonbone hammer
5:53 the enchantment and stats are wrong. but nice try for attempting to wear a weapon
Haha also noticed that ;)
Also the prices, the speech and the magic regen stats are hidden stats i guess?
Since they aren't shown when you get the item
The more of your videos I watch, the more I am convinced you are onto something with your theories on what happened to the Dwemer

He couldn't stand to see his little girl take on such a bestial form. The wizard wished for the ability to end his daughter's curse. Clavicus gave him an axe."
