The amount of care and detail that you put into these DIY videos are wonderful! Thanks for being thorough and transparent. People who really take to collecting information and applying what they learn really appreciate your beautiful work. ❤
I like that you showed and talked about the problem and solution (bleed-through, scrape, re-prime) - so appreciate knowing the time and labor effort to get this beautiful piece from plain to beautiful.
Amy, Thank you for making such a detailed tutorial! I’m still learning and I often throw away furniture when I get frustrated because I don’t know how to fix a problem piece. You’re a true creative artist and your videos always make my day! ❤
Tip from woodworkers here: You can use up to 600 grit after applying the sealing coats. You don’t want to sand the wood past 220 for staining or applying laquer/polyurethane. The wood grain should be sanded to 180. Once applying your finishing medium then you use the higher grit to polish it out. Hope this helps you!
Absolutely stunning! When I saw you applying all those colors I thought it was absolutely ugly -- how could anyone want to buy that? Well, I ended up saying "Oh, ye of little faith" because it was beyond beautiful and original and wonderful. I have to compliment you on your artistic ability. Keep it up! You are absolutely fantastic. What beautiful work! BRAVA!
Mine too! Its so pretty. I saw the piece you used it on. Just gorgeous! I loved the purples with the hint of teal👌perfection. I just finished a project with the lily pad decoupage paper and that one is also really fun 😄
This is a beautiful transformation! Thrift finds are really the best for bringing new life to a piece. I love how you handled the trim and bringing out the details and the top left natural gives it nice final look.
I never comment on videos…I just had to tell you that you did an amazing job on that dresser. The dresser was just beautiful, I really enjoy watching you and I’m hoping I’ll get the nerve to try something myself….keep continuing to post your gorgeous projects…thanks so much for sharing
Wow quel beau travail minutieux felicitation madame vous êtes incroyable j'adore vos vidéos merci de partager votre savoir-faire et expérience 🌟🌟🌟👍👍👍😘💛💛💛
Absolutely beautiful! Really appreciate that you leave in what didn’t work out because that is furniture refinishing sometimes it just doesn’t work out and you are encouragement to not give up. I actually own this same dresser and the bed and have wanted to refinish it for years.
I love how you just don’t give up on a piece just because it doesn’t go well at first. That was a lot of work so I hope you sold it to someone who will love it.
You have the patience of a saint! I would never be able to create such a stunning piece cause I just would loose interest after the first blooper. Great job!
Like thStvsecondvtransfer. Thank goodness the firsthad to be scrapped and that you had patience and foresight. Appreciate your thorough teaching. So, thank you. Such a beautiful finish and with the top done beautifully. Hope it brings the price you need. Stay well.
Really enjoyed watching, for the first time, your work! I learned so much by watching your way of blending, as well as seeing several “new to me”products. Thank you…such a brilliant well worth it transformation. Hope you kept it or sold to someone who really understands what you did. Will be looking forward to seeing more of your work! Thanks for sharing all your details!!!
Wow, wow, wow, Amy. Yes, what a happy accident with your first go at this dresser. It’s just beautiful. The natural wood top and the added decorative piece in the colors you selected are perfection. You are quite the artist. ❤
😲 😮OMG! That is a fabulous transformation! I could never have imagined, this piece would turn out so beautifully! I thought initial color was awful! Really glad I watched till the end😂
Amy I must admit to being a little nervous during the blending process but you proved you knew what you were doing! The top turned out dreamy- I’d love to work with Odes oil sometime! The hardware and resin and woodubend details were perfect! It turned out so lovely!
This is really pretty..alotbetter than that green monstracity! As far as using it to seal paint, maybe ask Angirfrom Transcend Furniture Gallery. She uses a lot of Odie’s Oil products. Also, how long does it take for the chrome and other metallic markers to dry?
I was hoping you would show us the makeover associated with the stripper tutorial. Wow! What interesting color blends! Want a gorgeous transfer! Looks like Dixie Belle is really improving their product! And I was interested in Odies Oil, so this tutorial is amazing! Great job Amy and once again thank you! ❤❤❤
When I was a teenager in the 60s, my mother helped me do that green antiquing treatment on my bedroom set. I felt so fancy when it was done!

There are no words for how beautiful this is.
I am a newbie and this was such a in depth tutorial, so packed with valuable know hows and practical application principals. Thank you.
Beautiful. Lot of hard work and it shows
That is a museum piece now!! Also, thank you for taking the time to explain why and how you did what you did. I've learned so much in this video.

Beautiful transformation! Whoever painted it that green color committed a crime lol
Thank you 😂
I loved the green finish! Lol. But I get it, it's definitely not for most people. I guess I'm just weird. 🙃
Gorgeous result! First time I have seen your channel and now I’m a subscriber 👏👏👏👏
The green is beautiful everyone to their own
Great job, beautiful, love it all 😊
That green paint and the over glaze was called “antiquing”. A very popular finish for DIYers in the late 1960’s and early 70’s.
Magnificent!!!!! I am highly impressed with those chrome markers! They really added a perfect touch!
What a beautiful job love it thank you for sharing and explaining as you go along ❤
Thanks so much 😊
What a gorgeous transformation from that ugly green/black finish!!!! Someone is going to be lucky to have such a beautiful piece in their home!!
