It's both appropriate on its own and also a reference to John Cusack's famous scene in the movie Say Anything, where he's standing on a girl's lawn with a boombox over his head playing this song.

0:01 Welcome to Frenzied Flame Village... A place that exists in Elden Ring. In Liurnia to be exact.
0:09 Around this village you can find items tied to the said Frenzied Flame. Personally I never found much use for them.
0:11 Also instant disappearance of Torrent. He just completely disappears once you get off of him
0:13 Yeah, Frenzied Flame could be seen as LOTR reference considering that this world is in some capacity inspired by LOTR... Especially with name of one character.
0:16 And this is Frenzy meter which works like Madness in Bloodborne. Once it fills up it deals a TON of damage. Very fun to use in PVP with Frenzy spells, causes a lot of Frenzy both in played character and the player.

0:25 Rats are also infected with Frenzied Flame and they will infect you too. I believe it is tied to the plants around being also infected with it, which spreads to rats and then people.

It's basically sort of a Flame that wants to reduce the world to it's previous, empty state where nothing exists. The origin of this flame and why it's in Lands Between I may explore later... alongside a certain person... "Shabriri".

1:18 This is Converted Tower which you can find not far from the bootleg Sauron tower. It's guarded by this lovely Troll who uses magic. Because why not?
1:20 To get passed this puzzle you need to use a Gesture Erudition which you can learn at the end of the sidequest for character named Thops who you can find in a church not far from the place where you come out after beating Godrick. At the end of it you will get this gesture after finding him in Academy and also you will get a new spell which btw, can be used on a final boss to a GREAT effect. More on that probably by the end. But you will get it from that sidequest.
1:29 This Troll gets it. Basically you need to stay on that gesture. You have to wait a bit for it to change. It's like Make Contact from Bloodborne. Once you do it, do not move or do anything, just wait until the character spreads out their arms and that opens the doors. EDIT: You also need one of those Stone masks of mages of Raya Lucaria. I believe they also lit up when you do that gesture.

Now my conclussion from all of this is, that you have a terrible fashion sense, because you haven't mentioned you also need one of the Liurnia scholar masks for the erudition puzzle, which means you were exploring the place WITH the mask on, so when you used erudition, it opened automatically, so you didn't need to look up you need the mask, so you haven't mentioned you. So if you already have the ugly piece of stone on your head, you already liked it!! Terrible fashion sense!!

Ok. For start make sure you are at the bottom of the dectus lift. When you look on map find minor Erdtree that is right below lift. Draw a line from lift to the tip of that tree. That's your path. Everything that is around the crown of that Erdtree is in this video with puzzle tower being furthest to the right.
