The Farum Azula tourism board paid good money for those late-night commercials
You can only acces it by starting the Farum Azula zone after midnight (until 1am), turning the console off, then playing again 38 hours later (you have a time frame of one hour) wearing no chest armor but a heavy helmet (over 5 weight), and then I hope you did the Patches side quest of burning orphanages if you want to access the bonus content.
If your insight is high enough you can see some truly funky sxxt
The fact that you managed to make even the Wormfaces adorable is astonishing…

TBH that was one of the easiest fights I had, the time I died I just got stupid. Now the Dragon Sentinel dude before Maliketh and then Maliketh? Pfftt I hated that. But I have this deal that's supposed to protect from his move. I forget what it's called though.

First playthrougg, I had cleared Duo in 1 try... Maliketh, died like 15 times
Honestly, by the time I got there, the Big Moon greatsword was just too strong for them. I wouldn't have switched from my dual curved sword build if that greatsword wasn't that powerful. It was insane.
Mimic tear + rivers of blood chops those dudes up in a heartbeat

Lol those knights in that hallway might have been harder for me than the duo fight. It was ridiculous. Also I love the walk off the edge when getting pinged with the arrows, that's so accurate.
Extra spicy Banished Knights, and several of them in a row, are a bit of a danger indeed. But at least you can finally get the shawled helmet off one of them! If you like. Sadly the surcoated version of their armor is only available from the ghostly ones in Castle Sol...

0:14 Small thing, but I truly love how much of FromSoft's level design boils down to "put shiny thing here and gank the player when they're about to pick it up." And we fall for it every time.

To this day, I don't know how I got that lucky with Maliketh the first time around. I was nowhere near overleveled yet defeated him first try. Any other characters weren't so lucky afterwards... And I was always wondering, why people had such difficulty with him. Until I did as well.
I'm wondering if they will use the blasphemous claw somehow. Like it's a dog toy or something. So many possibilities.
Now i need a 10 hours video of the dancing Banished Knights.

I actually tried that way of fighting in a competition , my opponent almost shat herself when I jumped at her with a halburn . It was funny as hell and everyone was confused with the dance too .

@@berylman i meant as far as banished knight summons. Oleg gets too much praise. But yeah bernahl was my guy for the duo fight
@@teetheluchador oleg is more aggressive and pull aggro better, do more damage but engvall is tankier which is good for pure mage/faith build. While oleg is good for str/dex builds since u can literally demolish any bosses poise every quickly with oleg's chain attacks. Both are chad summons

I'm thinking she will come right before the last three bosses. I usually felt like only AFTER I beat her did I earn the right to the throne. But then again, sometimes I felt like only after I became Lord did I have the confidence to fight her 😂

Running from the banished knight only to find a ton more of them is the most relatable thing yet in this series.
The first time I hit the Godskins with a sleep pot, I spent the rest of the battle screaming irrationally because of how easy it was and how much I had struggled before.
Ironically, this only works because of a bug. The Godskins have a move that wakes up allies, but the Duo bossfight never uses it because the hidden enemy that functions as the boss HP bar prevents them from doing so.

Ironically, I didn't figure out the sleep trick in that fight myself - it was my own Mimic that showed it to me.

Fun fact: The Godskin duo were actually programmed to wake each other up should one of them fall asleep, but a bug in the code makes them unable to recognize it.

0:06 Welcome to Crumbling Farum Azula. De facto final Legacy Dungeon of Elden Ring. You get here after Erd Tree is burned either through you or Melina. Why is this place such a ruin? As far as I understand a LONG time ago this place was hit by a giant Comet that fell upon Lands Between. So long ago in fact that people only remember it falling apart. This comet I think ended up also making big chunk of Lands Between look like a crater, but more on that later.
0:10 lots of dragons are here as well.
0:20 But not just as a pretty skybox. This place has quite a few Ancient Dragons to fight with. I personally don't find them that bad.
0:21 And of course there is lots mario style platforming. At this point I think Miyazaki just wanted to make a Nintendo game.

1:22 And boss of first half of Farum Azula is by far one of the worst bosses in Fromoft history. Godskin duo. Both lightning fast, hard hitting enemies with 2 phases you need to manage AT THE SAME TIME!!! Does it sound asinine? Well wait till you hear this. Beating both doesn't give you a win. In fact you need to beat at least one like 3 times to win. And they RESPAWN AFTER LIKE 15 SECONDS. This is garbage. No question about it. Fuck this fight and whatever moron approved this.
1:34 But there is one light in the tunnel. Some weapons and items can put enemies to sleep and Godskin are a bit weak to it. But if any of you say this makes them easy I will call you on this bullshit. No. If a non gimmick boss only has one good weakness you may not even be built for then it doesn't make it easy. It makes it exploitable. And they are a MISERABLE fight without it. I know because I beat them without sleep. Fuck this boss.
Beat the hell out of them with sleep and mimic first time. NG+ beat the hell out of them 1st try with frost-flame-bleed weapons at almost level 300 lmao. Only way to make that fight "good" is to steamroll them harder than fatty does to you.
It wasn't really hit by a comet, that's what obsessive people who thought the Ruins Greatsword was talking about an Astel hitting Farum Azula kept saying.
They just couldn't read. The description just said that one of the ruins that fell from Farum Azula was hit by a meteorite. As in the structure had already fallen and it was just hit by a "normal" meteorite.
The most likely thing is that Farum Azula had been moved from around the water west of Limgrave and was flying away along with Placidusax by how the ruins are placed.
Wether or not the Elden Beast actually did anything to Farum Azula on arrival is something we'll probably never know. Only likely thing is that it was the thing that injured Placidusax that badly, just remember to not let the boss fight dissuade you from the fact that it is the most powerful being the Tarnished faced in lore.
Oh god, the salt. So much salt, for a relatively easy fight.

Never used the sleep thing on them myself.. and I didn't find it THAT hard (meaning I only died about 4 times). The first run I died because I did not know they would respawn, LOL. Caught mt by surprise and I was too busy M-fing Miyazaki to fight.

This series is getting so close to the end and I'm not ready
I love Oleg in these clips. Everything in Elden Ring is so scary and the player gets brutalised and violated every step of the way, but Oleg is a cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything and will snap some spines for his Tarnished brother.
Farum Azula is my favorite area in the game. I like the aesthetic.
