This was absolutely metal as hell. The visceral deaths of the marines and that jackal? incredible directing and planning went into these scenes and it shows. Please continue what you're doing cause I have never seen a fan project look so good.

Yeah, I commented on the same thing about lack of distance between Monolith and Military shootout on the STALKER animation. But I guess if you make it too realistic it doesn't look as cool and you can't have much action on screen at the same time, so I rather have a "cooler" version rather than a realistic one.
I mean if you look at cutscenes across the games, overall the UNSC is not using realistic battle tactics. People are always grouping up, getting closer than they should, etc.

I'm honestly happy that an animator as talented as Sodaz was forced to branch out to other IPs 40k is cool, but it already gets a ton of love. Halo and Stalker have virtually zero love in the animation scene of this caliber and it lests Sodaz really explore different types of content.

God, the choreography of these battles is absolutely spectacular. The way that the jackal with the carbine takes out the warthog gunner before signaling for the others to move in is such a great piece of work. It just feels so real.
Some feedback - the colours aren’t bad, although I think that the shrubbery is too green. The animation is pretty solid, especially for the jackals, they look like they’d fit right in with H2A cutscenes. The movement of the ODST as he shoots the SMG is a tad bit slow and weightless, But other than that it’s really good. My only real issue with this is there’s something about the rendering that looks off, it may be that there is too much motion blur, and I feel as though it needs Bloom and more AO, or at least making the shadows darker, since the lighting is a bit flat at the moment.
I've wanted a halo game for a long time in a massive battle, in the middle of a Covenant invasion. I love the feeling when they focus on the spartans.Theyre saving the best for later, the cavalry, the spearhead, damn we need that kind of reach militarized style game

It's egregious that the Covenant raised a human. The prophets ordered the extermination of humanity because they could all activate the Forerunner systems. Here they raise a human after rescuing her from UNSC slavers.
When I heard sodas wasnt making 40k content I was sad, but now I'd probably say this is his finest work, absolutly awesome, cant wait for more, and if you like it make sure to support him on patreon as he deserves it
His skills will be a waste only making one content, the world is big full of great series. He can make animation videos for them instead. But he clearly understand the series well enough making it very appreciated unlike that halo tv show

Depending on your weapons training while moving you do look slow but that's due to the pacing of shooting and walking at the same time.
