My gamer, your work is severely under appreciated. You alone are performing at a studio grade quality content and should be hired to make concept trailers for upcoming games
Nice vídeo Bro🗿🍷
Keep up the wonderful work.
Those paladins felt like they were astartes
In the fallout universe with out lots of antitank stuff they probably feel like that a lot
because they are >v
Given SODAZ’s past work with Warhammer, I doubt that’s a coincidence.
I mean in lore they basically are the equivalent, in 40k a guardsman has practically nothing to take down a space marine and in Fallout the average NCR grunt is exactly the same, they rarely even get grenades and that'd really just piss of someone wearing power armor
@@jimbothegymbro7086 Well unless you're one of those lucky sods that got to wield the meltagun or plasmagun(though given how temperamental that one is lucky is probably not the word the guardsmen in question would use.)
The horror of seeing a power armoured soldier is displayed amazingly here. This is awesome
Yeah not only their are walking tanks and I just saw one of them slap an NCR trooper away like their noting.
@@flakzuludeusex2365 Honestly I never even realised that back handing a human in power armour is a completely realistic thing they could do.
@@DCPTF2 Nah I meant amazingly. The slap shows how powerful power armour actually is.
@@Castle77653 Exactly they are big exo skeleton frame armored behemoths of the battlefield.
@@DCPTF2but lifting and swinging a super sledge takes more effort than just backhanding him aside. A cool way to show that poor bastard he wasn't even worth the effort of using a weapon.
Given the Paladin's are halting the NCR's advance, I have a feeling that we will be seeing a certain iconic, black armor clad, duster wearing, anti-material rifle wielding NCR unit soon.
Or the Red Berets of NCR's First Recon
The bigger they are, the bigger the target- and the harder they fall.
Doubtful?
Operation Sunburst came down to Elijah committing an insane amount of the Western Brotherhood’s manpower to a location that was absurdly hard to defend...and then he ran away when it was clear that the battle was lost (after initially repelling the NCR). Meanwhile, McNamara realized that NCR was committing more bodies than they had bullets to this fight, and if they stayed in place they would be overwhelmed. So, instead, once Elijah vanished, McNamara rallied the survivors and led an armored spearhead with his fellow Paladins to break through the NCR line and retreat.
@@electricbayonet2don’t forget they left a parting gift (nuke) before going an all out retreat.
The rangers weren't engaged in this fight actually, which is partially why the brotherhood was actually able to survive (albeit in a completely battered and mauled state).
Still, i'd love to see brotherhood clowns get their asses handed to them by rangers.
The Battle of Anchorage would also be sooooo sweeeet if it was animated by Sodaz
With the amount of power armor at anchorage it would be like the first time Germans in ww1 saw tanks trundling across no man’s land
@@ryanhagedorn6955instead of very slow, very large and very big targets the what the chinese saw were man sized tanks that are very fast and are able to sweep bunkers and trench lines.
Man just seeing the Chinese Spec Ops guys in action would be dope as hell.
I was about to say a depiction of The Battle of Anchorage Alaska between US and Chinese troops would be so interesting.😮
He did make a short loop animation of anchorage once
Great to see the NCR being an actual threat for once
in this the ncr are being a actual threat, in game there all cowards
@@xxfadewolfxx they're not cowards, their leaders are just incompetent.
They were a threat up until they were overstretched and undersupplied.
@@LeadMetal82 actual trash leaders, Hanlon should be in charge of the defense instead of general-wait-and-see
In the current iteration of the NCR they are overstretched, they're still very much a threat it's why when they collided with the Legion it became a stalemate. They rolled over the brotherhood with their numbers.
Getting that Space Marine feel with the Power Armour soldiers coming in.
Are the power armor in Fallout as fast as those of the Space Marines?
@@SIGNOR-G Space Marine's armor allow Space Marines to go with incredible speed, but the armor's also a second skin to them. Even without their armors, Space Marines are much faster than elite guardsmen. Comparison between Fallout and 40k might be tempting, but it is not necessary and realisticaly not even possible. The scale of everything in Warhammer 40k is cranked up at 100 whereas Fallout keep things relatively simple (such as a entire World War in America for example ^^)
@@SIGNOR-G - Noooo, not even close. Consider it like Mark 1.5 at best, even then the plating is probably weaker. Enough conventional fire will break through eventually.
@@l.d-b3465 oh so the Thunder Warrior will eat them for breakfast
@@SIGNOR-G No, Astartes armor is on a whole new level. Fallout PA wouldn't even compare to Sororitas PA, which is designed for (peak) humans, not superhumans like Astartes.
Also Thunder Warriors may literally eat BoS for breakfast because they are psychotic sons of bitches.
The fact that by the time the NCR pushed right into the gates of the building while the Paladins are still running out to engage them, shows just how coordinated and deadly the NCR strike team was. The defensive positions setup by the BOS gave them a huge advantage yet it was hardly an obstacle for the NCR troopers to overcome.
I mean the BoS were outnumbered 10-1 what else could they have done lol
@@__Theta__ 20-1
It was stated in the game that the position was horrible to defend
If you play NV, you can see the plant is surrounded by hills and open ground, not really that defendable when you have mediocre number
@@ausar567 coming back and reading this I think it'd actually be harder to defend if you have too many troops.
Operation Sunburst was a nightmare...and good golly, you’re doing a great job of showing it. Wonderful attention to detail with the differing sorts of advantages from tech, experience, etc.
Both sides have a lot of intelligent, skilled soldiers and strategists at their disposal. Elijah had placed a shocking amount of the Western Brotherhood’s manpower at a location that was absurdly difficult to defend. The NCR command sent an enormous amount of troopers to attack one of the most concentrated forces of the Brotherhood of Steel they had ever seen in one place.
Also, I really like that you made laser weapons scary and effective. You beefed up the sound, for one, and then made them do more to bodies than we see bullets doing.
Also-also, the NCR team that was killed because of the Brotherhood flare giving the MG a clear target? Stupendous stuff.
this is the nitty griddy shit I'm looking for in media.
For the NCR I felt that was a prime example of politicians getting soldiers killed, rather than you know thinking up an actual plan. For the brotherhood I don't even know.
@@soundcloudpandapandawa2997 Politics was getting both sides killed the brotherhood were there because a leader had a pet project he needed the location for (The Arcamedes lazer) the NCR were there because a leader wanted the location for his expansion plans (the energy from the power plant to expand into the Mojave)
On the laser weapons, thats actually how they were in Lore, and in Fallout 1 & 2. They were extremely powerful in those games, and not the watered down crap we get from Bethesda in Fallout 3 and in the newer games.
@@ZHBraden13 Unfortunately, yeah. Similar to the lasers from BattleTech, lasers in Fallout are supposed to be extremely strong and efficient - otherwise they'd never have successfully replaced bullet guns.
The ncr troops using a mish mash of different weapons is a very nice touch.
Yeah, that hunting rifle in that squad really sold it for me. You get the sense that that trooper had to scavenge or buy it because replacing his service rifle after it malfunctioned or was destroyed was logistically out of the question for the NCR.
@@callusklaus2413 It would have for either given that the NCR those days have grown corrupt so much so that it affected the military greatly logistics-wise.
@@callusklaus2413 Honestly, didn't get that impression at all - the use of different weapons was tactically sound for the most part. Service rifle for long to mid-range, hunting rifle for sniping, 10mm SMG for close quarters.
But then you've got guys with service rifles rushing into close quarters, so you might be correct.
@@callusklaus2413 Considering this is early days of the Mojave, it’s probably not a logistics thing, more likely was that that dude was the Squad’s marksman
@@callusklaus2413 pretty sure that's the marksman of the group considering he domes the gunner
I just love how the entire NCR advance got halted in its track by TWO Paladins in Power Armor
*Paladins
But yeah, I get your point. It was indeed intimidating.
Think about it. This is a complete new element in warfare. A Soldier that has the mobility of infantry, with protection that stops anything up to and including .50 BMG (unless AP ammo is used) and That carries heavy weapons like .50CAL MG's, recoilless rifles like a regular weapon. You give these guys an MG3 or M240 with a backpack beltfed ammo, you have an absolutely devestating unit.
In Fallout lore, only the heaviest infantry weapons or vehicle cannons could take out a power armor soldier. But the Power armor operator has the MOBILITY to avoid these threats. This combination makes them absolutely devestating.
Now count in computers, sensors, data links that displays info for the operator, internal comms what not. With the first exoskeletons being succesfull, one day our worlds armies will also field these units. And it will be deadly

Pov: you and the boy's have a nerf fight.
The NCR making it look easy on the Brotherhood is pretty realistic for the Brotherhood not being afraid of anyone and not expecting anyone to actually seriously fight them.
But then the power armor soldiers come out and it's basically like 40k Space Marines have arrived. And that is super awesome!
I would say NCR are owerall better soldiers, broderhood has inflexiblebin comand (chain that bounds) and too reliant on technological edge
@@petrsukenik9266 The NCR is much more of a realistic faction and army. It feels like something that could and would exist because in our world laser guns, plasma weapons, and power armor are a distant dream.
The NCR military actually fights like an army as well, but i suppose if you rely on some scouts and scribes to draw fire because you have near-impervious armored infantry then your tactics could be drastically different. I still feel like fallouts power armor would have weakpoints for small arms. mainly the knees and inner elbows on t45, and inner elbows on t51. Also the t51 kneecaps seem like they could be shot traps.
I would imagine .308 AP wouldn't have too much trouble with the lighter armor portions, which i Imagine would be the head/side of the head, hands.
@@Robb1977 True that, if the NCR took the Mojave campaign seriously in the first place, the Legion would've won the dam If the Courier didn't intervene.
@@Robb1977 The holodisk ‘Power armor specs’ in Fallout 1 tells us PA is only rated up to 2.600 joules, the defensive capabilities of PA are greatly exaggerated by the Fallout community.
@Pedro Lobo yeah, id say the armor would/should be much more about shrapnel/spall reduction, as well as reflecting laser shot... and maybe increasing the liklihood of a glancing shot...
But the added bulk and slim armor thickness wouldnt turn them into walking tanks. More just superheavy infantry
Damn that action is intense. Also the Power Armor guy just back handing a soldier is great.

Hit that ncr soldier with the hood winked mob boss back hand
1:15 The pimp hand, is strong with this one!
That backhand b*tchslap was more satysfying than one in that new Iron Warriors animation if Iam being honest :)
I love how sodaz managed to show the paralyzing fear someone would have in the 40k universe if a steam train of armour came barrelling down on them and implemented here, if a 7ft suit of armour going nearly 20 mph came at you from the darkness, the average conscript literally couldnt comprehend what was infront of them....amazing
Some woud probebly eat the lead they were supplyd whit using the barrel of there gun at a straw
Best part is in fallout you can kill enemies just by sprinting with the power armor

1:15 - I just love how he made it feel like I’m watching experienced soldiers wearing power armor with how quickly and effectively they move
Makes you think that back in the intro the Paladins were running their power armor on low power mode. But here we see what happen when the reactor is running at full steam.
@@kroposman2302 not reactor but fusion battery
@@chongchun8979 which powers a reactor
Indeed, where some power armoured warriors like astartes can move so quickly and efficiently in their own personal suits of personal tank armor, there's almost a sense of predicted movement here where the non-modified humans let their machines run after being wound up and there's a pause as they change movements or made sudden adjustments, moving in such a way that they let the suit do the work while they give it a direction to move.
Take this and imagine the warhammer space marines
Man when those paladins went in with the pain train i just can't stop grinning! Fine example on how a few paladins can takeout scores of NCR troopers.

The trooper was at least 70kg, 80 with all his equipement at least. That punch just make him fly on a solid 5 m. No wonder that suit broke the stalemate at Anchorage with such brute force on the chinese forces
It's no wonder they resorted to strategic nukes. Powered armour turns any soldier into a combat vehicle, it's hard to fight that tactically with conventional infantry.
37mm AA gun (61k 1939) with AP-T would destroy power armor formation and the Chinese should use them
Actually why didnt the Chinese deploy more DSHK 61k and 37K AA guns on them and shred them? Or try blasting them with tanks and Armored car with Autocannons?
Especially since Anchorage was a lot of Trench Warfare, imagine being trapped in a trench with such things? The confined spaces would make bringing heavy weapons difficult to deal with them.
@@ArmouredProductions Power armor with CQB las-weapons is practically cheating considering what's needed to dent them. Unless you had World War era anti-tank grenades, say goodbye to your squad mates. I'd say rocket launchers but that backblast in a trench? More harm than good
@@nickalex4235 Strategic deployment? they would know what the suits could and couldn't take and while the suits aren't as mobile as regular infantry they certainly are way more mobile than a vehicle. it might simply have been a case of using that to be where the AA's and DSHK's aren't.
This was so cool that I want to point out how @SODAZ even takes tactics into his work. Here we can see that the NCR begins off with using its numerical superiority to both charge and provide suppressing fire at the same time. The NCR also smartly uses the cover of darkness to help advance. The Brotherhood in turn uses it entrenched position to defend, and responds aptly by using an illumination flare at 0:30 to remove the darkness cover advantage. However, by that point it seems that the NCR has specialized CQC stormtrooper style units armed with rapid firing SMGs already in position which overwhelms the unarmored BoS troops. With that they gained the momentum, but that was swiftly ended when the BoS counterattacks with 2 Powered Armor soldiers. It really shows how much thought that SODAZ put into this. I also really love that the NCR uses more than its numerical superiority and actually also uses smart tactics to win battles.
I've critiqued sodaz in the past and lost reddit karma but sodaz has always responded to viewer feedback and adjusted, the end result is always very satisfying.
@@agentoranj5858 Thats surprising, Sodaz has been very good at asking for feedback as well. @@ironclamp5325 I think because with Fallout, you can connect it to real-world military tactics and situations, whereas Halo it's sort of a human vs horde mentality.
Sodaz I think the best and most genuine thing I can say about your animations is simply that

You can feel the weight, there's tactics and strategy but still more leaning on the rule of cool, you don't sacrifice a sides intelligence or power to make them weak you just allow sides to be strong in their own right and to duke it out "fairly"
And it's just really refreshing to watch
So smooth, the anatomy of how everything moves is absolutely flawless, I'm blown away with how good it is, and the cliffhangers after each piece just makes you want more.
I honestly love fallout in the western US because factions there actually feel like nations rather than just bands or groups

That one Knight just pimp slapped the shit outta that one NCR trooper, poor guy didn't need to be disrespected like that
The ominous vibe of the sound of laser rifle is a nice touch. Let's see if we will get to see elite units of NCR.
For the power armor, i can see the inspiration in the animation from your warhammer animations, looks great tho, absolutely love it.
incredible work !!!!!! I love this
My Brother in Christ, this was some quality content! 10/10
Imagine how harrowing of a situation this battle was for your basic ncr ground pounder. Your running over a hill and watching your friends get melted or blown to bits from heavy weapons, and once you think you’re safe and you reach the building, large metal figures come walking out of the smoke ignoring everything you can throw at them. God damn nightmare fuel man.
the Paladin at 1:17 was *not* happy that his day off got messed up, that hammer fist was personal.
0:30 I RECOGNIZE THAT SHOT! Your old Warhammer videos were kickass, and even though it's a shame how badly they mistreated you, I'll never forget how badass that shot was in your Krieg video. You're a damn genius.
One suit of Power Armor's enough to instill fear but two? That's hopelessness and despair especially when they're working as a team, I'd hate to be a grunt seeing one of those swat away one of your own like a meat pillow. Fantastically done as always, SODAZ!
I like how the BOS has a mix of laser and conventional weapons
Dear christ, Daz has amazing skill in balancing and choosing audio, the absolute immersion he creates with sound is unlike any ive seen from fan projects
I just saw a soldier with a 10mm smg so that means they not only have overwhelming numbers but a vast array of light weapons with machineguns to do a mass of squad tactics.
Audibly gasped when I saw the power armored troops enter the fray. Goddd I love the soundscape - the laser rifles are especially just so cool!!
I was half expecting those paladins to whip out chainswords and start ripping through those NCR troops with the way they came out there.
the brothers in armor gave me space marine vibes so hard
Dude this is honestly how every game should’ve be shown at E3 ong this is absolutely amazing and beautiful In a lim being blown off sorta way
Best way to start the day, right here
The Emperor is pleased because of the power armour 😂
Great video! Thanks for making.
I just love how you've done the BOS in Power Armor, you can feel the weight of their movements and 1:15 felt brutal with the force and power that soldier gives.
THIS LOOKS SO GOOD! The music, the sound effects for each shot, the power armour heavy steps, everything is so damn good, I am so hyped.
Great video fam. Can’t wait to see more.
that is badass! definitely need more of these.
I so badly want to see SODAZ's take on what a fight between a fully armored Brotherhood Paladin and a NCR Ranger would be like. Both are damn-near unstoppable forces in Fallout lore, just for different reasons.
