Looking back- there were SO many references like how blue team knew Jorge and how important Noble six was. Like imagine if Noble team failed, humanity wouldn’t stand a chance agents the covenant.

The fact that Noble Six is calling Chief “Sir” even though he technically outranked him on Reach shows (in my opinion) that he has some respect for him
He should be remembered a lot more because yes, master chief has saved humanity so many times, but had Noble 6 not stayed behind on Reach to keep the Covenant from destroying the Pillar of Autumn, Chief wouldn’t even be alive and therefore, not be there to save Earth in Halo CE, 3, and 4.
@@tarheelpro87 the fact that you don't realize chief's luck is what made noble 6 carried out his mission is what baffles me. As soon as chief was safe, chief's luck left him lol. Just a little theory of mine. Still a hyper lethal vector nonetheless
@@FataIend my take is that noble 6 was just a pawn in chief's grand story essentially. Not to take away from his skill, I think noble 6 is about as good as chief in terms of skill, maybe even having some superior attributes but limited to his spartan gen but I digress. In regards to noble 6's luck throughout reach, it mirrored chief's and it only ran out once he covered the pillar of autumn's exit well because he faced ridiculous odds no matter how skilled you are. I believe chief's luck of survival and victory actually rubbed off on 6 since chief relied on him to escape Reach and when and only when Chief and the pillar was off, did noble 6 "go missing in action". If for some reason, chief was the one left behind on reach, he would've found a banshee or gotten himself off the planet some way or another. So chief's luck essentially enabled noble 6 to carry out the mission despite the odds and save Chief and cortana.
I love how this "what if" really goes into taking the actual character's personalities and reasons into account of how they fight. They go for non-lethal fighting style and tactics, even when the knives come out they don't go for any lethal stabs and attacks, even restricting themselves from using their main firearms because in the end, they know they're on the same side and don't want to maim or kill each other.
Another factor is that well, B312 don't have any firect order's for killing any member of Blue Team, only capturing them. Since John is also a great public hero, and a great asset by ONI to deal with any and all external & internal threats, if he dies would be a great demoralize factor and would moralize & spark futher insurrections in the outer colonies and since there would no Demon to threat the Covenant ot the Banished, they would lauch a full onscale warfare onto the weakned UNSC

"George, he-" "He did his part." That line has to be one of the most expertly written lines in the whole thing. As spartan 2s of course they would ask about him. The attention to detail is more than insane, it's encyclopedic.
Would make sense. I think Spartan IIs have the biggest bonds out of any Spartan Program. So being informed of their comrades unit placement and such shouldn’t come that much to a surprise. Like when Jerome finding out that John is still alive.

Emile was an edgy mf, at least one everybody loves with the sick skull visor and knack for psychological warfare but in the end he bought enough time for noble 6 and the pillar of autumn, cpt keyes to bug off from reach... Man i'd wish this was canon, even if the lone wolf mission wouldn't make sense anymore.
@@LaVolpeGameReview It could have been. In dialogue at the shipyard between Emile and 6. Emile tells 6 to get off planet. That he'd have his back. Meaning Emile would have stayed behind while 6 got on the pillar of autumn. If only he had spotted the elite behind him on his radar in time.

As someone who first joined the halo community through Reach, the inner teenager in me has been waiting to hear chief say “thank you... for bringing her to me” for more than a decade. I basically went Into the rest of the halo games with the mindset of making Noble team’s sacrifice count and this RAW line hit me so hard.
This is EXACTLY how I felt playing the Halo games for the first time. I started my whole gaming life on Reach and to hear "thank you" finally given to Noble made me tear up.
i really like how they actually fight in distinctly different ways. Chief is stronger and faster; he's more direct and defensive. Noble is a spartan III, so he relies more on aggression and various equipment to keep pace. It really fits the whole spartan bounty hunter aesthetic. reminds me of Boba Fett a bit, even
Also more importantly the fact that spartan 3’s were not as physically strong or fast as spartan2’s so they 6 relying on his armor abilities makes more sense for him to compensate as well
@@LoneWolf20213 while it is somewhat true, spartan IIIs are as capable and strong as spartan II, it’s just that IIIs were sent to mainly on suicidal missions and “cheaper” to produce than Spartan IIs. However there are some Spartan IIIs who were CAT2, extra augmentation that make on par with Spartan II, Noble 6 is one of them.
Noble Six also was leagues above other Spartan IIIs in terms of skill and capabilities- while the average Spartan 2 would mop the floor with several Spartan 3s at once, Noble would genuinely fall under the higher end of every Spartan II skills. If he fought every Spartan II in 1v1s, you'd expect him to win or stalemate all but a handful. He's the greatest pupil the Spartan III program ever produced. @@RatedShadowXrd
For those that think Six couldnt stand up to Chief, keep in mind that before he died, he fought off thousands of covenant troops all by himself with limited resources on a dead desolate planet for an entire day before they finally got him. Dude was a badass, and arguably just as skilled as the Chief. It's just happenstance that he had to be left behind in order for Cortana to be saved. EDIT: The comments have informed me that closer estimations place his survival time between 3 days to 1 week, and the final mission takes place during the very last day. What a warrior he was.
He was also one of the VERY VERY limited list of people classified as hyper lethal, keep in mind one of the only other ones on that list? Is master chief, he was in the same danger classification ranking as chief, if that doesn't mean something idk what does.
@@SPARTAN_Cayde-26 I enjoy the newer halos, I just hate 5’s story and also some other things in the game. 4 was decent and infinite is pretty okay too. I haven’t seen the show, but from the clips I’ve seen from it, the story is also meh.
The part when we see Noble Six on Reach... the music, the way it looks and Six's cape... I think I found the best representation of a Halo "What if" story!
Yes... but no, Chief and 1 other spartan would have been able to take down noble 6. Noble 6 may have been an absolute beast all his own, but he isnt going to be able to take down Chief AND his team of equally badass friends.
@@reapordeath I think it's referencing how there are 4 members of the team besides Chief, so she thinks that the rest of the team would have been able to take Noble in a fight without Chief having to fight him.
It seems he carries a piece of every noble team member who died on reach. Jorge’s dog tags, Emile’s knife, Cat’s helmet module, and something of Carter. That way every time he goes on a mission, he carries on the spirit of Noble team.
Noble 6 hunting chief and then abandoning his orders to help chief save/end Cortana would’ve been the greatest storyline we would’ve ever gotten after the original trilogy. My god how incredible it would’ve been for both of them, having intimate connection to Cortana, being gridlocked against each other like this. Such a wasted opportunity
He would rather die than see the AI he saved and the one Noble team died for, ruin the galaxy. It may have been a plan B to reason with Chief but it serves just as well.
Would have been magnificent. Would have convinced me to get an Xbox. But instead we got 343's shitty SI fanfiction. Written by some circle jerking idiots who didn't like Master Chief. They didn't understand why everyone else liked the series and what part of it bought everything together. It's like taking Mario out of a Mario game.
I liked the moment Master Chief realized the man in his presence was instrumental to his life and story. By defending the Pillar of Autumns departure and delivering Cortana, Noble 6 saved Master Chief and thus the universe. He changed his tone, showing his respect for Six and the rest of Noble team who sacrificed their lives (well, Jun survived but whatever).
If chief can form a close friendship with the Arbitrator he can definitely let be cool with Nobel 6. Granted gravesight had a lot to do with 117 and the Arbitrator meeting but after gravesight they still continued to be friends.
Damn Noble 6 meeting Master Chief and Chief realizing that he just met the one person that was almost his rival in the selection process for Cortana and that he also just met the one person that allowed for his journey to be carried out while he was in cryo just hits sooo hard..... even with the added recognition that Blue team already knew about Noble teams existence somewhat and getting passed along the added information about Noble teams demise.... honestly this is exactly how id envision Noble 6 to survive... to be alive and working at very top secret levels at oni and a perfect way for him to be introduced to Chief.. Also i just realized you took inspiration from Monty Oum, thats so cool and it really shows in the choreography
And to how Blue Team learn about Noble. Is a far fetched possibility, but maybe they want to know what happened to Jorge and they learn his role on Noble Team and Reach.
@@JIMT412 Blue team knowing a lot about Noble isn't really that much of a stretch their honored at some of the greatest heroes of the war and the primary reason that anyone survived to reach. Each of them was given a personalized memorial with descriptions of their lives and what they accomplished on Reach. Well everyone except for Noble 6 that is. Because Noble six is classified as fuck and nobody's allowed to know about him but the people that use him.

I think it was just that by the time they 'graduated' training there were so few functional spartan 2s left that its a short list of names to keep track of. less than 30 of the original 150? recruits i believe?
Not to mention that even all 150 of them knew each other since they were literally 6 years old. With the exception of red and grey teams, the other surviving 2's are almost 50.
There were 150 possible candidates but only room for 75. After augmentation only 32 effective remains. Several were too injured for active duty and put into service at ONI. After the fall of reach and the time of halo 3 there were only blue team left. All others are missing in action. Admiral Serin Osman head of ONI in H4 was one of the Spartans too injured for active duty.
I like how noble 6 doesn't play "fuck around and find out" he constantly uses holograms, cloaks and other armour abilities, he regularly tries to blindside the cheif and never tries head on attacks, which is exactly how he would fight
I don't get the hate for Halo 5. For a long time I thought Halo 5 was the worst part of the series. Since Halo 5 never came out on PC, I was never able to play Part 5. I was able to catch up on that this year while catching up or replaying the whole Halo series. I played through Halo 5 in one go and loved that part. Part 4 was already super well done, but part 5 made everything even better. The story was staged coolly, the gameplay was a lot of fun and graphically it looked really good. When I see the video now and your comment, I don't understand why this should be worlds better than Halo 5. I love the video, but also Halo 5. Why should Halo 5 be so bad? I think Halo 5 is more fun than Halo 1 and Halo 3 in comparison. Was it the advert for the game? That you said the Master Chief was evil and you had to fight him, but actually it wasn't quite like you teased in the cinematic video? I would be interested to know what is so bad about Halo 5 for many. I have no idea about the multiplayer and I'm not interested in it either, so we'll leave this one aside.
I love how Blue Team questions John instead of following blindly. Each one of Blue Team is already a living legend, not some dogs to obey. They trust John, but they are considered almost equal beings amongst themselves.
Yeah Spartans don't have true chain of commands since they where all raised as children together. They have something along the lines of the ancient Roman doctrine of "First Among Equals" where everyone has a say and can make a choice but if things hit the fan or something needs to happen fast and efficiently that person chooses what to do. Each team has their own First Among Equals, but John is considered to be the First of them all and the one they choose to lead them.
And I will bet you the spartan 3s would follow him as well since some of the spartan 2s trained the spartan 3s, though it be more like a marine unit and the gunnery seargent

S3's were also given equally hard tasks with less equipment with Noble 6 achieving a combat rating equal to Chief by Halsey despite him not having Mjolnir armour. The S3's wouldn't have respect S2's more than other S3's.
@@JohnDoe-bh2lp S3’s we’re arguably the worst generation of Spartans. They were being pumped out and there were constraints as far as how brutal their training could be. Compared to S2’s that were literally biologically reconstructed with years of data. S2’s were far superior, there were just less and they took the brunt of the original covenant attacks. S3’s we’re used as essential cannon fodder often sent on suicide missions. Noble 6 was a covert Spartan who mostly operated alone. This always gave him the element of surprise. Master Chief just destroyed everything with brute force. His enemy always knew where he was but it didn’t matter. Chief is a living legend, everyone respected him and would follow him if given the option. There’s a reason bringing in Chief was kept under wraps, they were afraid of a mutiny if people found out
Just imagine if this actually happened. It feels almost like it should’ve. Whoever made this did great and put something together we’ve always wanted. Overall great and brought back the nostalgia and the emotions
Not many things would’ve made Halo 5’s campaign a Top 3 contender, this easily propels it into that. All the Reach fanboys would instantly have this be a Top 3 story.
It's crazy how great this was. This would have been a top tier cutscene in gaming history. Wouldn't even care if it was straight 9min long, but there's places to cut in gameplay 4 or 5 times. The fight choreography 🤌 the self preservation by working together ✅️... And the story telling was just fantastic. Not mention the voice acting. Great work!!!!
This 9 minute video just beat a multimillion dollar TV production series. Shows that if you care and love the games you don't need a fancy name backing you, just the effort and care of making the halo legacy continue.
@@xavilocar Hahahaha, The show was announced years ago, and the creators said they didn't even play the halo games, (Well, definitely the writers haven't, since aesthetics of the universe are on spot with the halo games) and so far, Season one has been a train wreck from the first episode, and a finale that could be consider sub-par on most of it's aspects.
Single handedly made a 9 minute story line that draws out more emotion than any of the 343 trilogy. Took me right back to the fall of reach. Awesome 👏🏼

This is quite possibly the greatest halo cut scene I've ever witnessed. This shit is absolutely BRILLIANT. the blade sticking out of his visor after he locked up 6 is just so perfect. Bravo.
Let's be real, he did win that. In fact, that ending only goes to show how either one could've won that and that it's a toss up. Only reason I say he won is because he KO'd chief and had all the time to throw the armor lock thing on him. Chief just has more plot armor

Honestly I love the Voice Acting for both Six and Chief. It doesn't sound corny or forced. On a lighter note it was funny cause the person that VA Chief almost sounds like Steve Blum in some parts of the dialogue, which I think is dope. Overall this project was cool as hell and I hope we can see more!
Six being alive after all those years and working as an undercover ONI operative would have been an insane twist in the story. You don't really see him die on Reach and it was assumed he was dead because he left his helmet behind and Halsey never heard from him again.
I believe the single simple action that changed in this timeline is that 6 took Emile’s knife and because it was close to his chest to unsheathe, 6 was able to fight more effectively against the elites equipped with swords in close quarters. Say like the ending cutscene of Reach with 6’s death, instead of elbowing the elite with the sword he used Emile’s knife to kill instead of knocking the elite back with an elbow. While the canon universe 6 left Emile’s knife alone as respect.
I love how you are able to narrow it down like that. Such a beautiful spinoff to the regular canon series can be made by Noble 6 making one simple act, but could impact the storyline significantly.

This is actually insane, fricken well done. I love the little hint to Jorge, as he was a Spartan II just like the rest of blue team. Damn this could be such a cool story line, thanks for sharing your creativity.
No matter how unrealistic this animation might seem, it still is more realistic than the fight between Chief and Locke given that both Chief and 6 have been given the Hyperlethal status. Amazing animation❤️
@@darth_vrionis4319The fact that they are 8 foot tall cyborgs and it feels like they're both punching sandbags as opposed to biologically and armor enhanced super soldiers. It felt like sad fight as opposed to two titans fighting each other. For context, John 117 once killed 4 ODST unarmored post modification. And that was all by accident.
@@darth_vrionis4319 Locke fought Chief way too well, that doesn’t happen, among of all Spartans the second generation is the overall strongest and Chief was the best out of the second gen. Only a few could stand up to chief and only 3 have the potential to kill chief in a fight and one of them is Six, the other ones were Tom and rookie but they all died

Damn Noble 6's backstory coming out after a badass fight with the Chief leading to an understanding between the two Spartans felt amazing and really well done.
the thruster struggle is so funny to me because logically the oni thruster should output more force (design ratios and r&d support) but the chief just wills his jetpack to jetpack harder than it has any right to jetpack
I cried when 6 called Emile his friend, I cried when they fought together and reminded me of Arby, I cried when he let Chief know he is who he is because of him, I cried when they earned each other's respect. Locke had no place in here.
This made more sense than having Locke, even knowing he is dead. The fact that this bridged 2 of the missions from Halo 5 with more lore than the actual product, is mind melting.
From what I've heard from the comics and stories, this is probably the closest we've gotten to "lore accurate" spartan battles next to RVB. Because Spartans can do some pretty wacky stuff.

I love the fight choreography. Especially the parts where they are actively using their thrusters as they were designed, in order to get an advantage of power behind their attacks. As well as using them for quicker bursts of momentum. Absolutely phenomenal. This story, and fight sequencing is honestly what Halo 5 should have had imo.
It's true. The whole thing was amazing and I do agree it's extremely good to see when the spartans use their actual equipment in the cutscenes. Don't get to see that much like the Halo 3 commercial when he actually uses a bubble shield!
The story was cool but the fight choreography was pretty bad imo. Too many close up shots with you barely being able to tell what’s happening, too much shaky cam that makes the already hard to see action even harder to see, camera angles move away from the action and doesn’t emphasize I get it’s a fan work but trying to praise the choreography is pretty ridiculous lol. And the jet boost was overused I get them trying to put power into their strikes or moving some distances but I would like to see more noble and Chief put in the leg work than them just boosting around
Jesus. If Halo 5 had played out like this, the feels man. Six saying a sense of responsibility pulls him here and Chief saying Thank You would've been absolute masterpiece of a scene the game could've used.
I love this. I love the fact that there is technically even more lore behind this already. the idea if noble 6 hunted master chief instead if Locke. the idea is that with Locke, he just fights and looses but with 6, he actually convinces chief that Cortana is bad. and on the channel reclaimer gaming, the rest of this series continues and this animation even comes from the idea that on the final episode of what if noble 6 hunted master chief instead of Locke, he asks halo follower to make a animation and here it is. i haven't even seen the original noble 6 master chief for months to since i was a og who originally watched it. its incredible to finally see this animation release before Follower even announced it. edit: lol I just got a liked notification randomly thinking it was maybe a 3rd like then saw how many this comment had.
I love Chief but there’s something about Noble 6 that always gets me. Imagine a game that included both Chief and Noble 6 as the main characters. Some crazy timeline thing that brings them together. That would be such a dope game to play.
For me I feel like it's because 6 is mostly an unknown hero in the universe of Halo. None of Chief's exploits would have happened if 6 didn't do what they did. The magnitude of loss is also much greater than we'd experienced before. Sure, characters have died before but Noble dropping one by one hit different. I think my ideal Halo 5 would have been a game where the first thing you do is customize a Spartan under the guise of "choose your multiplayer avatar" or something. Then you start off as Chief, with an interlude where you play as an unknown Spartan (referred to by some codename) given objectives which you're not sure what the endgame is about. You just get bits and pieces. There'd be no cutscenes, or if they were they'd be entirely from first person. Then slowly you start realizing "this dude's hunting Chief." As you are almost there, you cut back to Chief. You get to play for a while until you almost forget about the other character you just played then BAM. Outta nowhere a scene like this one happens. Imagine what it would have been like to see 6 decloaking, and it's got a shot where it pans up and it prominently shows Emile's kukri on the shoulder (obviously added to the avatar you made). Anyone who played Reach would have immediately known what that meant. That would have been one hell of a moment. EDIT: Just thought of another idea. 6 actually gets ahead of the Chief through a different route, and just before 6 actually attacks you recognize the room the team is in as they kind of settle down thinking it's a safe spot. It'd be an interesting source of tension for the player who knows what's up.
Noble 6 is the ONLY Spartan who could even come close to bringing Chief in and this is def the fight we needed not the sadness that Locke was. This is peak fan edit and knowing the assignment
I swear to God this is literally better than everything 343 has made so far. 9 minutes of video better than the whole HALO TV series. Add Chips Dubbo somewhere in and this is going to be the banger. Three Legends fighting alongside each other is what HALO needs.
@@ButteryGoodnessINC I mean "What If" as in things that could have happen in Halo canon rather than side stories. Like what if the Arbiter never rebelled with the Elites, the Flood survives, or Master Chief didn't survive the freefall in the opening of Halo 3? Stuff like that.
Holy shit like seriously holy shit I can't begin to describe just how this made me feel watching this, I was sad this wasn't in halo 5, angry that 343 couldn't do what a fan could do, and amazed at the effort and sheer talent you have congrats to you and everyone involved in this amazing video and I can't wait for the sequel whenever that may be I'll wait
Just like what a great "What If" scenario short film from HaloFollower, to which leave what Halo fans has waited for months for it being worth and also the voice for the Master Chief, and that's what it could happen if Noble 6 did in fact secretly survived after the final mission in Halo: Reach, and I feel it's pretty better than the Master Chief vs Locke fight in Halo 5 tbh. Also, 343 needs to take inspiration on this scenario for potential further Halo stories.
I enjoy the fact that Noble 6 had to rely on equipment more often than not to keep pace since ideally he’d be given the Spartan IV treatment with better armor augments as well as being a better way to show that Spartan IIs and future Spartans had to keep up with other qualities
@@Memelord1117 not really true, Spartan IIs and IIIs were closer matched than people think. both gens were taken as children but the IIIs were simply war orphans while the IIs were children with cream of the crop genetics. the Spartan III augmentations were also only slightly less than the Spartan IIs
Now THAT was a return worthy of Noble 6. Amazing how much you created with less than 10 minutes of tight action and focused dialogue. Had I not been a long time follower and knew this was coming, you could have told me this was “deleted cutscene” and I would have 100% believed you.
@@RenagadePrime Well to be fair, Noble 6 and Master Chief both are supposedly the only two Spartans labeled as "hyper lethal," so even if Six isn't on the same level as Master Chief, he's still vastly superior to others of his class.
I’m not sure it would work, noble six is just skull and bones by the time of halo 5, but despite that, this is a pretty awesome fan project props to those who have worked on it
This is the best Halo anything I've seen since Halo Reach. Well done! And thank you for doing this, you can tell there is a lot of passion and respect for the franchise behind this work, reminds me of why I fell in love with Halo all those years ago.

So sad all this lore mentioned in this animation was completely forgotten in the actual game. Cortana was just treated like a normal A.I not a forerunner and all of the forerunners and Created A.I's by her side completely vanished from the series....such a shame.
This is kinda true, however if you look past the games themselves, there is cannon novels out there and I don't remember which ones they are exactly, but that's where they deal with most of the Cortana stuff, somebody did a video on all the events that happened between Guardians and Infinite don't remember who though but I remember watching it and feel mad that we didn't actually get to stop Cortana.

You know what I like the most are the little touches to Chief's armor as the fact that after the events of Halo 3 he should of kept his old armor instead of some how having the armor that Spartan 4s wear. Noble 6 looks pretty much the same, but with small little momentous to Noble Team, all in all absolutely love this.

Man, this hit with such nostalgia, truly feels like an emotional progression of previous games. Locke couldn't best Master Chief, but Noble 6 could help convince him, because he and John are cut from the same cloth
I actually had tears of joy coming from my eyes. Listening to ReclaimerGaming's 'what if' series and seeing it animated really got me the feels. If Halo 5 was about noble 6, i wouldnt mind, although it would mangle a bit the message of Reach about sacrifice, but it would made a more fitting narrative given both spartans had someting to do with cortana. And I wont shit on Halo 5 that much as I am now if it happened.
If Halo: Reach was about Sacrifice, then this new story with Noble 6 would be more about Perseverance. Noble Team gave EVERYTHING they had to complete their missions, and they succeeded. What comes next for Noble 6? The will to go on. To Persevere. I think that's very fitting to his character, and would love to see more!
I've been thinking about the whole time travel thing of Halo Infinite and you know how much I wanted to see Noble 6 appear at the other side of a portal
Oh my god all the writing was incredible, the fact that Noble Six was so insanely deadly, the fact that showed mutual respect for each other and Chief seemed more like his logical self rather than Halo 5 Chief (in the OG fight scene it didn't even seem like Chief tried to tell Locke what was going on till after it was said and done) Here 6 and Chief actually have a REAL convo i can see them having. The entire fight had me at the edge of my seat and of course, OF COURDE WE HAVE A BADASS TEAM UP SEQUENCE. The ending had me actually scared though holding my breath, and the reveal to how Chief got his crack on the visor. 'chefs kiss' this was utterly amazing and made me get up and boot Halo because I wanted to feel badass
This "fanmade" animation had more choreography than Chief vs Locke, and i like how they worked together a little bit, they put the small things aside, dealt with the dangerous environments first
I’d like to think that midway through the fight, masterchief knew that this fight is going to drag on for a while considering how 6 is probably one of the few spartans to properly parry and defend against his assault as well as countering. So he had to deceive 6 to think he was knocked out.
Realistically, you’re not wrong. It’s probably also the case that Chief just wouldn’t want anyone hurt in the altercation, so he had to get one of the armor lockers. What better way than to just have it tossed right to you?

This should of been Halo 5. Just imagine being hunted down by a ONI Spartan. Not knowing who they are until this very point. Realizing you, as the Master Chief. Are fighting yourself. Do you know how fucking amazing that'd be? Somehow *YOU* surviving the fall of Reach by some miracle, getting evac'ed from that glassed planet. Only for years later, needing to right your own wrong. Given if Noble 6 didn't get Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn. Halo CE and beyond would of never happened. So what Noble 6 said in this very video, makes 100% sense and hold alot of heavy weight. Kinda wish this was what we got, instead of...those spartans.

I like how in most fan fictions as well as some main line Halo scenes many people who actually outrank Master Chief still refer to him as sir just out of pure respect.
The truth behind this is that Master Chief has been awarded every medal the UNSC can give him, with the exception of the Prisoner of War medal, for obvious reasons. This would include the Medal of Honor, and even enlisted with the Medal of Honor are referred to as sir. I do 100% agree with the statement that MC respects Noble Six, though.

I have such mixed feelings about Noble 6’s canon ending. I get the whole “Sacrifice for the greater good” thing but I truly believe it would be so much better if they faked his death so he could go back to headhunting for Oni. Also I feel like everyone can agree Locke would NEVER be able to touch Chief like he did in H5. If anyone was ever going to go toe to toe with chief and damage his armor? It’s Noble 6. What a game H5 could have been with Noble 6 in it.
Also N6 was classified as ",Hyper Leathal", just like Chief so itd also make sense to, also considering 6 was a Spartan 2 and locke was a Spartan 4, so a Spartan 2 going Toe to Toe with a Spartan 3 like this makes sense
I had to respond to your comment; not that I think you're incorrect, you may very well be right about a Spartan one in one. The only other example I can think of is in Nylund's new blood with 2 Spartan 4's going at it with lethal intent, but, any 2 fully armored Spartans are gonna rip it up! Lets be real...If Noble Six HAD survived Reach somehow...This is EXACTLY how a future meeting would have played out. Loved the callback to Emile's kukri, btw. That was a surprisingly sentimental touch. I loved it. Nearly brought a tear to my eyes.

@@Blox117 No, he couldn't. With the Covenant closing in, and the need to still defend the Shipyards, he was surrounded on all sides with no place to escape to. Keep in mind, the Covenant was still glassing Reach selectively. Also, Spartans aren't trained to RUN. They're trained to FIGHT.

Honestly I have no words to describe the how well done and well written this was. I'm so excited that there will be a continuation of this. If the arbiter shows up in the second part, I swear I will lose my mind from the thought of seeing noble 6, chief, and the arbiter together on screen.
This was an Excellent fight, quite engaging as well considering Noble six has far more of a significant role in the story of halo than Locke did. Not to discredit Locke or anything because I did enjoy his character in Nightfall. Six is just a far more Compelling character due to the loss he has experienced and how he faced it in Lone Wolf making his final stand. On the more simple side of things the swords are a neat idea. Given the threat the UNSC faced with Energy sword wielding elites you’d think humanity would’ve thought to create a definitive means of defense against it. Overall you made a solid video that deserves praise and success.
Plus he would've fit much better in the game's story because the players are already familiar with him. Vast majority never knew Nightfall even existed so Locke was basically a brand-new character to them. I'm pretty sure retconning B312s death on Reach would be much more forgiveable, and easily explained by saying ONI covered up the fact he was still alive so they could get their black ops assassin back.

I loved every minute of this! A part of me thought after surviving the hordes of Covenant, he'd seek refuge and possibly adapt his armor to match with his team. Emile's knife and Helmet, plus a robotic arm like Kat's (At the end one of the Elites plunged their saber in him, so I was thinking it cut off his arm). Either way, Noble 6, good to see you soldier [Salutes]. This truly brings back the old saying: "Spartans never die, they're just missing in action."
5:45 you shoulda absolutelty feel flattered, thats non geneva convention Chief. The only other hyper lethal vector, the man literally was brainwashed by ONI BUT broke from that because he still respected his comrades. I’m not convinced that he’s not alive. I hope they either make a stand-alone game featuring him, or add him to the story, either way that would be awesome.

The fact that Noble Six is calling Chief “Sir” even though he technically outranked him on Reach shows (in my opinion) that he has some respect for him
He should be remembered a lot more because yes, master chief has saved humanity so many times, but had Noble 6 not stayed behind on Reach to keep the Covenant from destroying the Pillar of Autumn, Chief wouldn’t even be alive and therefore, not be there to save Earth in Halo CE, 3, and 4.

@@FataIend my take is that noble 6 was just a pawn in chief's grand story essentially. Not to take away from his skill, I think noble 6 is about as good as chief in terms of skill, maybe even having some superior attributes but limited to his spartan gen but I digress.
In regards to noble 6's luck throughout reach, it mirrored chief's and it only ran out once he covered the pillar of autumn's exit well because he faced ridiculous odds no matter how skilled you are. I believe chief's luck of survival and victory actually rubbed off on 6 since chief relied on him to escape Reach and when and only when Chief and the pillar was off, did noble 6 "go missing in action". If for some reason, chief was the one left behind on reach, he would've found a banshee or gotten himself off the planet some way or another.
So chief's luck essentially enabled noble 6 to carry out the mission despite the odds and save Chief and cortana.

I love how this "what if" really goes into taking the actual character's personalities and reasons into account of how they fight. They go for non-lethal fighting style and tactics, even when the knives come out they don't go for any lethal stabs and attacks, even restricting themselves from using their main firearms because in the end, they know they're on the same side and don't want to maim or kill each other.
Another factor is that well, B312 don't have any firect order's for killing any member of Blue Team, only capturing them.
Since John is also a great public hero, and a great asset by ONI to deal with any and all external & internal threats, if he dies would be a great demoralize factor and would moralize & spark futher insurrections in the outer colonies and since there would no Demon to threat the Covenant ot the Banished, they would lauch a full onscale warfare onto the weakned UNSC

As someone who first joined the halo community through Reach, the inner teenager in me has been waiting to hear chief say “thank you... for bringing her to me” for more than a decade. I basically went Into the rest of the halo games with the mindset of making Noble team’s sacrifice count and this RAW line hit me so hard.

i really like how they actually fight in distinctly different ways. Chief is stronger and faster; he's more direct and defensive. Noble is a spartan III, so he relies more on aggression and various equipment to keep pace. It really fits the whole spartan bounty hunter aesthetic. reminds me of Boba Fett a bit, even
Also more importantly the fact that spartan 3’s were not as physically strong or fast as spartan2’s so they 6 relying on his armor abilities makes more sense for him to compensate as well

@@LoneWolf20213 while it is somewhat true, spartan IIIs are as capable and strong as spartan II, it’s just that IIIs were sent to mainly on suicidal missions and “cheaper” to produce than Spartan IIs. However there are some Spartan IIIs who were CAT2, extra augmentation that make on par with Spartan II, Noble 6 is one of them.
Noble Six also was leagues above other Spartan IIIs in terms of skill and capabilities- while the average Spartan 2 would mop the floor with several Spartan 3s at once, Noble would genuinely fall under the higher end of every Spartan II skills. If he fought every Spartan II in 1v1s, you'd expect him to win or stalemate all but a handful. He's the greatest pupil the Spartan III program ever produced. @@RatedShadowXrd

For those that think Six couldnt stand up to Chief, keep in mind that before he died, he fought off thousands of covenant troops all by himself with limited resources on a dead desolate planet for an entire day before they finally got him. Dude was a badass, and arguably just as skilled as the Chief. It's just happenstance that he had to be left behind in order for Cortana to be saved.
EDIT: The comments have informed me that closer estimations place his survival time between 3 days to 1 week, and the final mission takes place during the very last day.

He fought for 3 days, alone. Majority of his opponents were top tier Elite commandos, Zealot class, sent to hunt down Spartans.

He was also one of the VERY VERY limited list of people classified as hyper lethal, keep in mind one of the only other ones on that list? Is master chief, he was in the same danger classification ranking as chief, if that doesn't mean something idk what does.

It seems he carries a piece of every noble team member who died on reach. Jorge’s dog tags, Emile’s knife, Cat’s helmet module, and something of Carter. That way every time he goes on a mission, he carries on the spirit of Noble team.

I liked the moment Master Chief realized the man in his presence was instrumental to his life and story. By defending the Pillar of Autumns departure and delivering Cortana, Noble 6 saved Master Chief and thus the universe. He changed his tone, showing his respect for Six and the rest of Noble team who sacrificed their lives (well, Jun survived but whatever).

@@JIMT412 Blue team knowing a lot about Noble isn't really that much of a stretch their honored at some of the greatest heroes of the war and the primary reason that anyone survived to reach. Each of them was given a personalized memorial with descriptions of their lives and what they accomplished on Reach. Well everyone except for Noble 6 that is. I think it was just that by the time they 'graduated' training there were so few functional spartan 2s left that its a short list of names to keep track of. less than 30 of the original 150? recruits i believe?
Not to mention that even all 150 of them knew each other since they were literally 6 years old. With the exception of red and grey teams, the other surviving 2's are almost 50.
There were 150 possible candidates but only room for 75. After augmentation only 32 effective remains. Several were too injured for active duty and put into service at ONI. After the fall of reach and the time of halo 3 there were only blue team left. All others are missing in action. Admiral Serin Osman head of ONI in H4 was one of the Spartans too injured for active duty.
I like how noble 6 doesn't play "fuck around and find out" he constantly uses holograms, cloaks and other armour abilities, he regularly tries to blindside the cheif and never tries head on attacks, which is exactly how he would fight

I don't get the hate for Halo 5.
For a long time I thought Halo 5 was the worst part of the series.
Since Halo 5 never came out on PC, I was never able to play Part 5.
I was able to catch up on that this year while catching up or replaying the whole Halo series.
I played through Halo 5 in one go and loved that part.
Part 4 was already super well done, but part 5 made everything even better.
The story was staged coolly, the gameplay was a lot of fun and graphically it looked really good.
When I see the video now and your comment, I don't understand why this should be worlds better than Halo 5.

I love how Blue Team questions John instead of following blindly. Each one of Blue Team is already a living legend, not some dogs to obey. They trust John, but they are considered almost equal beings amongst themselves.
Yeah Spartans don't have true chain of commands since they where all raised as children together. They have something along the lines of the ancient Roman doctrine of "First Among Equals" where everyone has a say and can make a choice but if things hit the fan or something needs to happen fast and efficiently that person chooses what to do. Each team has their own First Among Equals, but John is considered to be the First of them all and the one they choose to lead them.
And I will bet you the spartan 3s would follow him as well since some of the spartan 2s trained the spartan 3s, though it be more like a marine unit and the gunnery seargent

S3's were also given equally hard tasks with less equipment with Noble 6 achieving a combat rating equal to Chief by Halsey despite him not having Mjolnir armour. Compared to S2’s that were literally biologically reconstructed with years of data. S2’s were far superior, there were just less and they took the brunt of the original covenant attacks. S3’s we’re used as essential cannon fodder often sent on suicide missions. Noble 6 was a covert Spartan who mostly operated alone. This always gave him the element of surprise. Master Chief just destroyed everything with brute force. His enemy always knew where he was but it didn’t matter. Chief is a living legend, everyone respected him and would follow him if given the option. There’s a reason bringing in Chief was kept under wraps, they were afraid of a mutiny if people found out

Not many things would’ve made Halo 5’s campaign a Top 3 contender, this easily propels it into that. All the Reach fanboys would instantly have this be a Top 3 story.
It's crazy how great this was. This would have been a top tier cutscene in gaming history. Wouldn't even care if it was straight 9min long, but there's places to cut in gameplay 4 or 5 times. The fight choreography 🤌 the self preservation by working together ✅️... And the story telling was just fantastic. Not mention the voice acting.

Honestly I love the Voice Acting for both Six and Chief. It doesn't sound corny or forced.
On a lighter note it was funny cause the person that VA Chief almost sounds like Steve Blum in some parts of the dialogue, which I think is dope.

Six being alive after all those years and working as an undercover ONI operative would have been an insane twist in the story. You don't really see him die on Reach and it was assumed he was dead because he left his helmet behind and Halsey never heard from him again.
I believe the single simple action that changed in this timeline is that 6 took Emile’s knife and because it was close to his chest to unsheathe, 6 was able to fight more effectively against the elites equipped with swords in close quarters. Say like the ending cutscene of Reach with 6’s death, instead of elbowing the elite with the sword he used Emile’s knife to kill instead of knocking the elite back with an elbow. While the canon universe 6 left Emile’s knife alone as respect.
I love how you are able to narrow it down like that. Such a beautiful spinoff to the regular canon series can be made by Noble 6 making one simple act, but could impact the storyline significantly.

No matter how unrealistic this animation might seem, it still is more realistic than the fight between Chief and Locke given that both Chief and 6 have been given the Hyperlethal status. Amazing animation❤️

I cried when 6 called Emile his friend, I cried when they fought together and reminded me of Arby, I cried when he let Chief know he is who he is because of him, I cried when they earned each other's respect. Locke had no place in here.
This made more sense than having Locke, even knowing he is dead. The fact that this bridged 2 of the missions from Halo 5 with more lore than the actual product, is mind melting.
From what I've heard from the comics and stories, this is probably the closest we've gotten to "lore accurate" spartan battles next to RVB.
Because Spartans can do some pretty wacky stuff.

I love the fight choreography. Especially the parts where they are actively using their thrusters as they were designed, in order to get an advantage of power behind their attacks. As well as using them for quicker bursts of momentum. Absolutely phenomenal. This story, and fight sequencing is honestly what Halo 5 should have had imo.
It's true. The whole thing was amazing and I do agree it's extremely good to see when the spartans use their actual equipment in the cutscenes. Don't get to see that much like the Halo 3 commercial when he actually uses a bubble shield!

Too many close up shots with you barely being able to tell what’s happening, too much shaky cam that makes the already hard to see action even harder to see, camera angles move away from the action and doesn’t emphasize I get it’s a fan work but trying to praise the choreography is pretty ridiculous lol.
And the jet boost was overused I get them trying to put power into their strikes or moving some distances but I would like to see more noble and Chief put in the leg work than them just boosting around

Jesus. If Halo 5 had played out like this, the feels man. Six saying a sense of responsibility pulls him here and Chief saying Thank You would've been absolute masterpiece of a scene the game could've used.

I love the fact that there is technically even more lore behind this already. the idea if noble 6 hunted master chief instead if Locke. the idea is that with Locke, he just fights and looses but with 6, he actually convinces chief that Cortana is bad. and on the channel reclaimer gaming, the rest of this series continues and this animation even comes from the idea that on the final episode of what if noble 6 hunted master chief instead of Locke, he asks halo follower to make a animation and here it is. i haven't even seen the original noble 6 master chief for months to since i was a og who originally watched it. its incredible to finally see this animation release before Follower even announced it.

I love Chief but there’s something about Noble 6 that always gets me. Imagine a game that included both Chief and Noble 6 as the main characters. Some crazy timeline thing that brings them together. That would be such a dope game to play.
If 343 can retcon the Fall of Reach, that is.
For me I feel like it's because 6 is mostly an unknown hero in the universe of Halo. None of Chief's exploits would have happened if 6 didn't do what they did. The magnitude of loss is also much greater than we'd experienced before. Sure, characters have died before but Noble dropping one by one hit different.
I think my ideal Halo 5 would have been a game where the first thing you do is customize a Spartan under the guise of "choose your multiplayer avatar" or something. Then you start off as Chief, with an interlude where you play as an unknown Spartan (referred to by some codename) given objectives which you're not sure what the endgame is about. You just get bits and pieces. There'd be no cutscenes, or if they were they'd be entirely from first person. Then slowly you start realizing "this dude's hunting Chief." As you are almost there, you cut back to Chief. You get to play for a while until you almost forget about the other character you just played then BAM. Outta nowhere a scene like this one happens. Imagine what it would have been like to see 6 decloaking, and it's got a shot where it pans up and it prominently shows Emile's kukri on the shoulder (obviously added to the avatar you made). Anyone who played Reach would have immediately known what that meant. That would have been one hell of a moment.
EDIT: Just thought of another idea. 6 actually gets ahead of the Chief through a different route, and just before 6 actually attacks you recognize the room the team is in as they kind of settle down thinking it's a safe spot. It'd be an interesting source of tension for the player who knows what's up.

Just like what a great "What If" scenario short film from HaloFollower, to which leave what Halo fans has waited for months for it being worth and also the voice for the Master Chief, and that's what it could happen if Noble 6 did in fact secretly survived after the final mission in Halo: Reach, and I feel it's pretty better than the Master Chief vs Locke fight in Halo 5 tbh.
Also, 343 needs to take inspiration on this scenario for potential further Halo stories.

I enjoy the fact that Noble 6 had to rely on equipment more often than not to keep pace since ideally he’d be given the Spartan IV treatment with better armor augments as well as being a better way to show that Spartan IIs and future Spartans had to keep up with other qualities

Now THAT was a return worthy of Noble 6. Amazing how much you created with less than 10 minutes of tight action and focused dialogue. Had I not been a long time follower and knew this was coming, you could have told me this was “deleted cutscene” and I would have 100% believed you.
I love that scene at 1:28. It truly shows how fast a Spartan II is with Chief's reaction time being really fast by noticing Noble 6's hologram.

So sad all this lore mentioned in this animation was completely forgotten in the actual game. Cortana was just treated like a normal A.I not a forerunner and all of the forerunners and Created A.I's by her side completely vanished from the series....such a shame.

This is kinda true, however if you look past the games themselves, there is cannon novels out there and I don't remember which ones they are exactly, but that's where they deal with most of the Cortana stuff, somebody did a video on all the events that happened between Guardians and Infinite don't remember who though but I remember watching it and feel mad that we didn't actually get to stop Cortana.

You know what I like the most are the little touches to Chief's armor as the fact that after the events of Halo 3 he should of kept his old armor instead of some how having the armor that Spartan 4s wear. Noble 6 looks pretty much the same, but with small little momentous to Noble Team, all in all absolutely love this.

This is perfect. The voice acting is nearly perfect and the ending is perfect. It even lines up with the actual story of Halo: Guardians.
It’s sad we didn’t get this. This is literally the greatest thing I’ve ever seen and would have made halo 5 so great
I actually had tears of joy coming from my eyes. Listening to ReclaimerGaming's 'what if' series and seeing it animated really got me the feels. If Halo 5 was about noble 6, i wouldnt mind, although it would mangle a bit the message of Reach about sacrifice, but it would made a more fitting narrative given both spartans had someting to do with cortana. And I wont shit on Halo 5 that much as I am now if it happened.
If Halo: Reach was about Sacrifice, then this new story with Noble 6 would be more about Perseverance. Noble Team gave EVERYTHING they had to complete their missions, and they succeeded. What comes next for Noble 6? The will to go on. To Persevere. I think that's very fitting to his character, and would love to see more!
I've been thinking about the whole time travel thing of Halo Infinite and you know how much I wanted to see Noble 6 appear at the other side of a portal
Oh my god all the writing was incredible, the fact that Noble Six was so insanely deadly, the fact that showed mutual respect for each other and Chief seemed more like his logical self rather than Halo 5 Chief (in the OG fight scene it didn't even seem like Chief tried to tell Locke what was going on till after it was said and done)
Here 6 and Chief actually have a REAL convo i can see them having. The entire fight had me at the edge of my seat and of course, OF COURDE WE HAVE A BADASS TEAM UP SEQUENCE.
The ending had me actually scared though holding my breath, and the reveal to how Chief got his crack on the visor. 'chefs kiss' this was utterly amazing and made me get up and boot Halo because I wanted to feel badass
This would have been 1 thousand times better history than the one on halo 5, congrats to you and your team

This "fanmade" animation had more choreography than Chief vs Locke, and i like how they worked together a little bit, they put the small things aside, dealt with the dangerous environments first

I’d like to think that midway through the fight, masterchief knew that this fight is going to drag on for a while considering how 6 is probably one of the few spartans to properly parry and defend against his assault as well as countering. So he had to deceive 6 to think he was knocked out.
Realistically, you’re not wrong. It’s probably also the case that Chief just wouldn’t want anyone hurt in the altercation, so he had to get one of the armor lockers. What better way than to just have it tossed right to you?

@@Genny207 Yes and no. Noble 6 is probably the only Spartan that the Chief would actually have issues fighting against, both are the only two Spartans to achieve hyper-lethal.

Let's face it, the fans ALWAYS know better than the execs, because the execs are the execs, but the fans enjoy the World, characters, and story arcs. The execs just see dollar signs, investors meetings, and bottom lines, where fans want to see the their Fandom shine, and be as amazing as possible....thats why there's usually a huge disconnect between the Movies/Shows plots, mainly due to Marketing / Corporate Shenanigans and wanting ALL the money, not just some or a fuck-ton of it
This should of been Halo 5. Just imagine being hunted down by a ONI Spartan. Not knowing who they are until this very point. Realizing you, as the Master Chief. Are fighting yourself. Do you know how fucking amazing that'd be? Somehow *YOU* surviving the fall of Reach by some miracle, getting evac'ed from that glassed planet. Only for years later, needing to right your own wrong. Given if Noble 6 didn't get Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn. Halo CE and beyond would of never happened. So what Noble 6 said in this very video, makes 100% sense and hold alot of heavy weight. Kinda wish this was what we got, instead of...those spartans.

I like how in most fan fictions as well as some main line Halo scenes many people who actually outrank Master Chief still refer to him as sir just out of pure respect.
The truth behind this is that Master Chief has been awarded every medal the UNSC can give him, with the exception of the Prisoner of War medal, for obvious reasons. This would include the Medal of Honor, and even enlisted with the Medal of Honor are referred to as sir. I do 100% agree with the statement that MC respects Noble Six, though.

I have such mixed feelings about Noble 6’s canon ending. I get the whole “Sacrifice for the greater good” thing but I truly believe it would be so much better if they faked his death so he could go back to headhunting for Oni. Also I feel like everyone can agree Locke would NEVER be able to touch Chief like he did in H5. If anyone was ever going to go toe to toe with chief and damage his armor? It’s Noble 6. What a game H5 could have been with Noble 6 in it.
Also N6 was classified as ",Hyper Leathal", just like Chief so itd also make sense to, also considering 6 was a Spartan 2 and locke was a Spartan 4, so a Spartan 2 going Toe to Toe with a Spartan 3 like this makes sense
I had to respond to your comment; not that I think you're incorrect, you may very well be right about a Spartan one in one. The only other example I can think of is in Nylund's new blood with 2 Spartan 4's going at it with lethal intent, but, any 2 fully armored Spartans are gonna rip it up! Makes me wonder if Installation 00 might to a video on it?

Actually he did survive acourding to halo Infinite season 2 opening he is the spartan with the banished A.I in his helmet
@@TheRealGamer-cl7rg If you're using the multiplayer as a basis for canonicity, you're gonna be disappointed. Season 2 is a mess. And last I checked, multiplayer doesn't really dictate actual story content.

@@Blox117 No, he couldn't. With the Covenant closing in, and the need to still defend the Shipyards, he was surrounded on all sides with no place to escape to. Keep in mind, the Covenant was still glassing Reach selectively. Also, Spartans aren't trained to RUN. They're trained to FIGHT.

Chief in halo 3 armor AND Noble 6 partially wearing Emile's armor is such a nice touch.
Honestly I have no words to describe the how well done and well written this was. I'm so excited that there will be a continuation of this. If the arbiter shows up in the second part, I swear I will lose my mind from the thought of seeing noble 6, chief, and the arbiter together on screen.
That would be epic. The 3 most badass mfers in the halo universe working together. That would be a damn good game
This was an Excellent fight, quite engaging as well considering Noble six has far more of a significant role in the story of halo than Locke did. Not to discredit Locke or anything because I did enjoy his character in Nightfall.
Six is just a far more Compelling character due to the loss he has experienced and how he faced it in Lone Wolf making his final stand.
On the more simple side of things the swords are a neat idea. Given the threat the UNSC faced with Energy sword wielding elites you’d think humanity would’ve thought to create a definitive means of defense against it. Overall you made a solid video that deserves praise and success.
Plus he would've fit much better in the game's story because the players are already familiar with him. Vast majority never knew Nightfall even existed so Locke was basically a brand-new character to them. I'm pretty sure retconning B312s death on Reach would be much more forgiveable, and easily explained by saying ONI covered up the fact he was still alive so they could get their black ops assassin back.

I loved every minute of this! A part of me thought after surviving the hordes of Covenant, he'd seek refuge and possibly adapt his armor to match with his team. Emile's knife and Helmet, plus a robotic arm like Kat's (At the end one of the Elites plunged their saber in him, so I was thinking it cut off his arm).
Either way, Noble 6, good to see you soldier [Salutes].
This truly brings back the old saying: "Spartans never die, they're just missing in action."

The only other hyper lethal vector, the man literally was brainwashed by ONI BUT broke from that because he still respected his comrades. I’m not convinced that he’s not alive. I hope they either make a stand-alone game featuring him, or add him to the story, either way that would be awesome.
