  • Today's video I talk about some cheap electronic drum upgrades you can get on Amazon, and whether or not I think they are worth getting. Long story short, I do think the Pintech TC cymbal is a good deal amzn.to/2sV8BMO, but not so much for the Go eDrum.

    I bought the official nitro mesh upgrade pack for just 100 bucks. Included 1 dual zone tom/snare and 1 cymbal. Also came with attachments and cables :)

      you can also buy splitter cables and split the toms and add even more cymbals/drums. . Split Tom 1 and add an extra cymbal for a splash perhaps, split tom 2 and add an extra crash/china. Easy to do

    I recently purchased four 2-zone pads for about $200 new. This gives me a total of 5 pads, with rim triggers. I use this kit at my church. I have a X-stick on the snare pad, and then I have tambourine, hand claps, cowbell, and shaker on the rims of the others.

    I just wanted to say that you can get the expansion kit from guitar center for 120 with the tom and cymbal. They don't say it anywhere on their site and their sales team has no clue but... I can confirm both the tom and cymbal are dual trigger. So now I have a snare with a rim shot, normal tom 1, tom 2 with the ride as the rim shot, normal tom 3 and normal tom 4. That allows me to have 3 full cymbals, 2 that are choke-able and 1 that is not. I also ordered the dpd double kick off amazon for $100. So 600 for a 4 tom, 4 cymbal, double kick set up. Not too fucking shabby boys, not too fucking shabby. Great videos and reviews of the kit, it's what made me finally get it.

    • @demonicsweaters
      @demonicsweaters  3 роки тому +1

      The cymbal is dual trigger? I didn’t think so, I tied it on mine and it was only single zone. Are you just talking about it being chokable?

    in addition to my other question below... I'm finding that expansion parts (at least Alesis) are stupid expensive, really putting me in the mindset that it's stupid to buy individual expansion elements (unless you can find them for less than $100 - for - at min, a tom and another cymbal.) I say this based on having purchased the entire kit new from G.C. for $300... so, "Why wouldn't someone just buy another kit and expand with that"? I'm tempted.
    I just don't know if I can plug one kits brain/module into the aux in from the headset out of the other to get a complete setup with no lag, etc. (no scientist here, just trying to pick up the instrument after 30 years.)

      I just got my Nitro a few weeks ago. First kit Ekit I have ever had. Bought my first Alesis in the mid 90s...SR16. I am a guitarist I think...I took guitar lessons in the 6th grade and was in Jr High band as a drummer. That is how far my musical schooling went. Played jr high dances(guitarist) and family stuff until I was 17 and got my first real job as... a drummer...had an Pearl Trap...The American Legion. Country band...And I was a metal head. Had my Peavey PA set up in my bedroom on either side of my drummer's throne....haha Was into Black S...Steppenwolf...GFR
      Then I went into the navy sold my drums and kept a guitar. Never went back to drums and played guitar for 25 years some on the road. Now at 65 these Edrums are perfect. I have mine set up like JB....lol. one mounted tom and two floor. Learning Enter Sandman as first song haha.
