I love the way your dad still corrects your English at your age. Ie. Not me and Luke but Luke and I. It must be something he is a stickler about.
Your dad is amazing! He is the older generation but is so into how things can be improved. He must be very knowledgeable and knows that one is never too old to learn. You are so lucky to have a dad like him!
I'm getting excited for you. Don't know why but I'd love to see a drainage map to see how all the drains and slurry channels all tie into each other now.
You pervert !
Hi Tom, when we put our parlour in, when pouring the concrete in parlour pit and all other areas getting fibreglass , we left a 2 to 3 inch gap with wood so fibreglass lads could get the bottom seam below concrete level, we then filled the gap with concrete to properly seal the fibreglass in. It’ll prevent water getting in underneath and lifting the fibreglass off. Hopefully not to late.
Also put gate control buttons front and back of each row outside of the parlour pit so we could shed cows easily . We’ve no shedding gates.
Works really well.
Phil
What a fantastic job the lads have done...... so great to see true professionals at work..
Thanks Maria ☺️

Tom you are the most positive farmer I know. Keep up the graft.
Things are looking great. Hope that concrete works for you. I liked the suggestion, from Anthony Atherton, of installing a submersible sump pump in the parlor. Water always seems to find a way in, around concrete, so preventive measures to relieve water in future may be required. I hope I’m wrong, but it would sure make me nervous seeing that area continuously fill up with water during the project.
im surprised they didn't install a pit and a pump. water will do damage if not taken care of, and hydrolic pressure from the water could even cause cracks and could even float the whole pit...
@rudd dude Totally agree. I’ve yet to see concrete stop water, and it’s usually only a matter of time.
@@Hoosier60 With the right additive, and a vibration, concrete can indeed stop water, what do you think they build swimming pools out of?
I worked in the water industry for many years, most of the tanks were made out of concrete, including 100' tall digestors on sewage treatment works!
@Sarge084 Yes, and I have removed old pools that leaked and had mold within cracks in the concrete. We used to just fill them in, but that has changed over time.
I have also seen basements, constructed of block OR poured concrete, start to leak through their walls in the spring after the snow starts to melt and is met with heavy rain. You can help prevent it by installing a waterproof coating or membrane to the home’s exterior basement walls. In older homes, they usually just install a reinforced plastic liner to the interior basement walls, and it directs any moisture or wall leaks straight into the drainage system. That is why homes utilize a sump pump in their basement.
@Sarge084 Yes, concrete can be 100% water proof,. But when it floods, it will want to float, which will cause damage, either by cracking or it actually floating a bit, which would be bad!!!!
The red brick building looks like a homeowner who wouldn’t sell at any cost so the project went ahead around them regardless 😂cheers Tom 🍻
Hope you’ve got that ground water finally sorted 🤞
Thank you so much for taking us along for your build. It’s so interesting
You bring me joy when I see your vlog on my computer. I love following your adventure
Always good seeing all smiles on the job site.
Tom your positive view in life shows in your new parlor. Your team off worker are all positive too.which makes for a great job done. Getting closer to the finish line. Then all this mess will be a thing off the past.
You can tell when the sun shines in England everyone is happy. The sun just makes everything better. I'm really looking forward to seeing this up and running. Xx
Good day when I catch a glimpse of life on a dairy farm
You are so lucky to have a great team of workers on the job there fantastic teamwork from one & all 👌👌👌
Getting close!
Happy to see how well things are going if you sit back, but not too bad. And it’s wonderful to see men working hard but enjoying what they’re doing. I love seeing the smiles.
Do you know Tom, I think you have a happiness volcano rumbling away inside you! All the professionals you have working in each project have to same positive pride in a job well done. Positivity brings out the very best in anyone, and I think you Pemberton have shares in the joy mine! The block work is a work of art and those drains are fascinating. I am really excited to see how you are making the very best “on the hop” changes as you go along ….. looking good 🎉🎉
Looking good Tom, it will all come together and be worth it. Enjoy your time away on the stag do, I would say relax but not sure that is the idea
The brickies did a nice job and your concrete pours are good aswell. You choose good tradesman by the look of things.
Oh wow all the building is really coming along. You have such great tradesmen there working alongside with you. It’s incredible Tom and all this is really going to pay off for you and your dad and all the hard work you do. Thanks for the videos and letting us come along with you through it.
Coming along now Tom - loving it!
Love the construction videos and the solutions they come up with.
Looks amazing, Tom!
It's going along nice can't wait to see it done!
Hi Tom great video. I feel for the worker because I broke my Achilles through too, then stupidly walked on it for a few weeks. Not painful now at all now, he'll get through, but I hope he's getting paid
Looks awesome Tom. Really coming together. The brickies do excellent work.

Pleasure to watch them lads work
Another great video Tom it’s certainly coming along nicely and there’s a lot of block but looking good 👏👏👍👍
As someone who watched my Grandfather lay 1000's of brick, that is a true mason! Looks amazing!
From USA I will say brickwork and concrete work TOPS !
Love watching brickies...
Love your HOOF GP SWEATSHIRT!!!
Consider a recessed stainless tray about 3 feet long sloped to a trapped drain for drainage away from bulk tank outlet. In Ontario 🇨🇦milk house drain to be at least 2 ft from tank outlet.if you don’t put in the tray the tank cleaning chemical eat away the concrete in short order. If a lowline milk line in parlour, double check there is enough space so crossover milk line to the milk receiver jar has slope. This mistake gets repeated many times.
Parlour looking good
It looks freaking amazing. The amount of work you have done since I have been watching is astounding! See you in September, hopefully! I'll certainly be seeing the milkshake machine, that's for sure! xxxx
Exciting times on your farm. Everything looking great

It's the timelapses for me. Very satisfying to see the water issue in the pit finally solved. I do worry that you're workting yourself too hard though.
“No such thing as a problem, just an opportunity”

Hello Tom ,Wow the parlor is looking real good almost getting it done . Wow that is going to be a lot a lot a lot of cement wow. It won’t be long you’ll be harvesting .
Looking great. The fiberglass guys are booked to start on my birthday.
Amazing ❤❤
Awesome job guys 💙💙💙💙👍🏻👍🏻💙👍🏻💙👍🏻
Arrowquip product placement, great work.
Professional = someone who can expertly hide their mistakes.....
🔥me☝️When I was building homes we used to say “what’s the difference between a carpenter and a craftsman”? “They both make mistakes however a craftsman knows how to make his mistakes look like he meant to do it that way” also…”speed comes with excellences” it’s fun watching them work and knowing I don’t have to jump in and help. BeWell ✌️(edit follows) Awesome channel name Von SplatterBlast…also great double corn dog pic…laughed a big one on that!! 🖖
Yush, thats the definition of an expert carpenter
Definition of experts is the difference between me and you
Quality = Doing something right when no one is looking.
@@jase_was_here5246 someone is always looking…Quality is know not only how to do it, but knowing why to do it a certain way. ✌️
A very good Saturday morning to you sir from Wellington Somerset
Nice 1Tom👍
Looking good! It is almost a parlour. All my best to the man who snapped his achilles, not a fun time.
Can't wait to see what comes next.
You can (and MUST) be proud of all you're all achieving together. Awsome job by an awsome team. I'm raving about the progress you're making with the new parlour like this. It's so much fun seeing everything come together, one step at at time.
I know the Ginger Guy is reading along, you must be proud of everything that you and Tom are achieving together, getting the farm into a new erea. I'm sincerely enjoying the progress you and all of the workers are making.. Thanks for keeping us updated on all that's going on at the farm in a very enjoyable serie! Big compliments and best of luck with all that's coming in the weeks and months ahead! Cheers from Holland :-)
I see it's all precast or block in England, in ireland most farm buildings are shuttered concrete.
Lookin bloody sweet fella, s
Awesome video Tom🤙🏻 said it many times in here look after your contractors, and your contractors will
Look after you!
And I’m sure the farm shop butties help!
good job, look nice.
We got some on a boat coming to you!! 😊
Looking good Tom!!
Not you the build. 😮
great vid tom 10/10
Looking good Tom... 😝
I'm surprised those high walls do not have strengthening piers every few metres.
Tom, with all that water you should have got dry concrete.
love the vids, when are we going to get a feature length video
You'll be milking in there soon!!! Looking great!
Great Brickies!
Amazing job, only question I've got is your sloping the floor of the pit slightly for water to drain which is great but did you think about putting a small sump drain in with a sump pump? Our old parlour used to have one in the corner but its looking amazing!!
beautifull stuff Tom, have you ever looked into a "castle agri" for the back of your muck spreader?
Like everyone still trying to figure out how it will look when done. Liked the ginger comments about extending the roof over the yard. Bet the next project will be the calf barn.
All those different colour blocks would drive me mad, ocd 🤯
Swimming pool looking 👌 😄
