Finally we have finished the parlour. 6 long months and it’s done 🙈🙌
Thank you all for joining me on the journey. Hope you have enjoyed it!
Finally next week the cows WILL ENTER the PARLOUR!! ☺️
I don’t no about you lot but I’ll be glad to get back to farming 😂
Yes construction is tough and stressful, getting hold of the teats sounds more relaxing 😂
Loved watching every bit of the new parlor build.
Thank-you Tom for sharing this journey with us🥛🐄
You've done well young man. Very well.
The cows in the new milkingparlour on the sunday video.....Please.
Well done Tom you've done well to get through this 🙏
Tom. That is a shear brace! You should recess in the H beams to help with wind loads. Cut the wood and reinforce it to get that back in there. The building will be fine until one windy day. Love to see all the improvements over the years.
It looks the dogs chap!! Well done! There must be a cheer for the unsung hero of the whole project... your Mani3.. she keeps going unbelievable... and nice to see Jo, she is Glowing (as always) my best to you all, job well done
The best bit? The balloon "we've done it" held by the boss! Hopefully you are getting set for the big day and the "rest of your lives"!
Happy Cows, more milk, Happy Farmer!!! What an achievement for your whole family, staff, and suppliers. Well done.
Happy farmer more children !!!!
Who wouldn't want to be a cow on Tom's farm, well fed, kept dry when it's wet and now matting under your feet while you're being milked. This is why we need to support British Farmers, cause they are the best! 🇬🇧👍
Tom this sounds so stupid given the fact I've never even been in the same room as you. But I am a fellow farmer (ireland) and have been following your journey for a number of years! I just wanted to say congratulations and you should be incredibly proud of the work and effort you've put in over the last number of years!! From the cake bin to the silos to the new shed and parlour. Mega stuff 👍
I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WHOLE WEEK!! LOL Congrats Tom and everyone who had a hand in this inhuman task and came out smelling like... cows!
Fantastic achievement for everyone concerned. You will be able to relax now Tom. Can’t wait to see the video of the cows using the parlour. I hope they are impressed as well
Relax? LOL 🤣🤣🤣 never lived on a farm eh? 🇨🇦
Looks like Joanne is taking her pregnancy very well. I know I don't need to tell you but family is always first. Your achievements are to many to mention. Very well done.
🎵🎵🎵 Celebrate Farm Life.. Come On 🎵🎵🎵 🐮🐄🚜 Well done guys, can't wait to see the parlor in action, good luck with the pregnancy Mrs P 🙏💓
A Credit to Tom and all the Contractors who helped build his dream 👍 Also a big credit to the Pemberton Family, it’s ok a Young Farmer having a Dream but you need the Family to allow the dream to happen, and they all did 👍
Wishing you Tom and Joanna and team Pemberton and as they say in the Army the rest of the Atts and dets every success to the future in terms of the parlour and baby. Two massive learning curves await.
Morning Tom. Congratulations, big hugs and we’ll done ❤️
Tom I am so proud of you! You are the HARDEST working Farmer I know. Well Done ❤️🐄
You should be so very proud, all the hard work that You, Luke, your Dad and everyone involved in the New Parlour. Good things happen to good people. Hope Mrs P. and baby are well.
Congratulations on the completion of the parlour, the cows and Luke are going to enjoy it alot more than the bale
So excited & happy for you!! 🎉💗🐄
Very happy for you! I know youve made great sacrifices to get to this point and i hop you have great success and fulfillment!
Amazing Tom!! It really is a triumph of farming construction and engineering. You should be so proud of yourself the team and all the suppliers.
And it’s great to see Jo looking radiant and blooming.
So excited to see this in action. Don't make us wait till next friday. Can we have it Sunday or Tuesday please 😁
Beautiful parlor Tom, congratulations to all the Pemberton Family (and the coming little one). This will be so great for you.
Wow! The new parlour is nearly ready for action, looking like the boiler room of a sophisticated battleship. But instead of oil fired superheated steam, the pipes will flow with the best grass fed delicious milk!
Congratulations Tom and your family and team.
I did some similar 23 years ago, and I still remember the first milking in the new parlour. That was a great feeling
Well done Tom and all who have contributed to get to this day. Let the milking begin
Congratulations Tom and everybody else that was involved in the construction of the new parlor. So very happy for you all. Can't wait to see the cows in the parlor. Happy Days!!!!!!
Thanks for being a farmer Tom. Farm upgrades very much deserved. Thanks to every farmer reading this as well, taken for granted far too much.
🎉 Congratulations, Tom Joanna, Mr & Mrs Ginger man. What a fabulous job but I know you've worked hard. And it looks beautiful. Can't wait for the next video with the cows.
The biggest project of your life is hiding in yer other half’s tummy Tom 😉👍🏼
But massive respect to you and the team for getting this done.
Outstanding effort by all concerned 🤜🏼⚡️🤛🏼
Noooo you can’t leave us like that!! I’m so excited to see the moo’s again 🐮 PLEASE BE ON SUNDAY 🫶🏻
Looking good Tom, I bet you are ready for a rest, but still planning the next project 😊
by golly can't think of the words to express how totally amazing this adventure has been. Todays video just great how many more things were completed for the finish line. Guessing at some point the cows will all get electronic collars . Time for you and family to just focus on milking and get some well deserved rest. This has been awesome to watch. Thank you for taking the time to bring us along. BC Canada
Such an amazing addition to the farm, I hope you can invite Andrew W back for his opinion on the set up you did. The good parts, the ooopppsss mistakes and what you could have done differently in the beginning if you had only known…….This was an amazing learning process that I hope other farmers can be inspired from. ❤
Can't wait to see the Happy Cows in the new setup! Be Well BE You
Well done all...this will be the talking point for your grandchildren...they'll be so proud of what you achieved in the ''olden days'' 😂...it's going to be fabulous...will be here for the opening...🎉
Joanna looks great🌠
Cheers from Perth Scot. 😁
Congratulations Pembertons! Hope the cows appreciate the new parlour. 😊❤️👍👍
Hi Papa Tom. YAY the parlor is finished. But more importantly, A very pregnant Mama Pemberton has been sighted, YAY. Congrats. All that work IS going to pay off, I am sure. It looks great. The Yard is done, the Parlor is done. Now all we need is BABY !!!
So pleased for you and all your team 👌🏻💪🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻👍🏻
Looks fabulous! Great work Tom and Team!
When you swing over, make sure you are on the right side of the hose so that you don't have to walk around the hose every time.
It looks so good! If I was a cow I would be so happy lol Congrats Tom, you deserve it. You and Your family works so hard. This has to feel so good.
Great stuff Tom, more-so the video quality is amazing, editing is on point, I love the music which drops in when something is in the making… you are the positive side of youtube! Reality farming, no click bait, no gimmicks. Just good knowledgable content. All the best! TP👍
Congratulations to you and your Father on a job well done. It is a joy to see how you run your farm and dairy in the UK from here in Iowa.😊
Hey Tom I can’t believe you have taken a chainsaw to the new timber panels before ye even move in !! Great job on the new parlour 🎉
So excited for the milking video!!! Congratulations on reaching the end of the HUGE project 🎉🥳🍾🎊
Congratulations Tom, it’s been a great journey with you. Hopefully the cows settle in quickly. My only concern is it will be a cold parlour with the entrance being so open during the winter. Good luck. 🏴
Looking great and should make your life so much easier. Hope the cows enjoy it as much as I’ve enjoyed watching it.
Amazing how much the farm has changed (for the better) in the last few years
WUHOOOI!!!🎉 Congratulations!!! Been quite an Adventure. More importantly Jo is looking FABULOUS!!! Soon you will be Da n Ginger will be Great! ❤ to all.
Great job Tom but two criticisms from this Video.
Please put the Wind Brace back in that you took out for the end Concrete panel. It's there for a reason and certainly not to just take out because something else doesn't fit. If the panels had fitted between the steel columns you would have been fine. Go talk to Andrew Warring he will tell you why they exist but they need to go in to help support the frame of that barn.
Staying with steels. The RSJ's that you put under the IBC - you have put them in the wrong way around. They are inherently weaker the way you have them. Flanges should be on the top and bottom. The web (the vertical bit between the flanges) goes vertical. Sorry been in the Building game too long and hate it when people make simple mistakes because they don't understand the reasoning
i would agree great job , agree with your critic and i would add, as the saying goes "dont spoil the bucket for a half penny of tar, fix the removed bits of yorkshire board and lengthen the latch bolt on the gate, no excuse for baler twine fix
I'm getting ready to start absolutely sobbing from how happy I am that this is finally finished. When the bail goes out I'll be done for.
It really feels like it’s been so much longer than 6 months you’ve really made such a difference to the farm you should all feel so proud of yourselves you’ve had a wonderful team and a fantastic job well done ❤
So exciting to be moving in to the new parlour, even more exciting saying bye-bye to that bloody bail 😄 Well done to all!
This must be an amazing time for you and your family. I feel as though I have been working alongside all of you and frankly I'm exhausted, but in such a good way.
What a journey it’s been Tom, absolute credit to you and dad, your families and lots of individual contractors and teams / friends! 👏👏👏👏😊👍✊🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄😊
Woo Hoo!!!!! Congratulations!!!! Now make Jo happy before the baby comes!
Can't wait for the next video ❤ its been a huge journey for you all. I hope it makes everyones life easier especially for you when the baby arrives ❤❤
@3:44 You removed a structural bracing for the building. HIGHLY recommend you find a way to re-install that. Unless Wareings gave you the green light, then its ok.
Yeah baby!! that’s what we’ve been waiting for!!!!
Wooooooooooo 🎉
Great video Tom can't wait to see the new parlor in action. That was a lot of work well done.
Congratulations to you all Tom it’s been worth all the hard graft
CONGRATULATIONS!!! This is so great! Next huge step forward for the farm!! Once that foot bath gets back in place you will be rocking and rolling!!
Congratulations to you all. A super job. It looks wonderful. Your cows are not going to know how to handle all that beautiful stuff and everything so efficient. Happy.!! happy.! happy!.
Where I worked 3 times we had the best producing heard of cows in the state. The cows had top notch care that is for sure. I worked 11-7 night shift so when cows we’re giving birth and a problem arose I was called to pull a calf. Also. Getting them back in the pasture if they broke out. Loved that part of my job. The rest of the time I took care of mentally disabled patients. Hospitalized 1 sent to the hospital 5 other times. 1 operation that had me on the table for 5 1/2 hours my pancreas was cut almost in half became diabetic because of it. 5 shots a day sewed it back together took 6 years to become pre diabetic. Now take 1 pill a day. Working with livestock not easy my family raised beef that is why I was called for problems. Was not afraid of cows
Some videographers say to double the frames per second from 25/30 fps to 50 or 60 frames per second to overcome the strobe effects caused by fluoro lights. For the parlour yard gates, drill a pinhole in the gudgeon (and use 3 or 4mm wire in the hole) so cows or bulls do not lift the gates off. A few luxury items that could be added in the future, an 'up &over' backing gate, retractable? yard roof (so the cows don't have to stand in the rain) and draft pens.
Holy Cow, Tom truly leveled up his farm
Congratulations Tom! What a journey!
Tom, you are so hard working. I’m excited for you
Great to see the finished parlour. Great to see the progression of the farm you should be very proud of your achievements so far I’m sure there will be many more in the future 👍🏻
I’m so happy for your cows and yourselves! Can’t wait to see a milking and oddly enough, hopefully a wash down video!
It took a lot of time and hard work on everyone’s part but you are finally done and ready to start milking in your new parlor. Congratulations Tom, you have taken your dairy business to the next level. Everything looks amazing and it’s going to be so much more efficient.
Lovely Tom! Just lovely! Enjoyed the whole project! Great job everyone! 🎉😊
Been fabulous seeing the transformation. Well done 2 all. Lovely 2 c Dan again. Hope Jo's doing OK.
Most important thing have you forgot the radio cause cows likes to listen to music when they're being milked
Can't wait till the end of this video for it all to be finished YIPPEE
awesome to see , you look proper chuffed and the farm looks mint dude all the hard work should pay off now and and hopefully a bit less stress and some less terrible weather (touch wood) for a while.
I hope the removal of the steel brace doesn't compromise the stability of your shed! Congratulations Tom on completing your project, thoroughly enjoyed watching it come to fruition, I'm exhausted!
Onrete panels will replace pole.
Make a sign to go where your cousin cut the boards to accommodate the machinery. example new parlor 2023.
Finally done Tom congratulations 🎉
Im so excited for you Tom, everyone involved have done an amazing job.
Pretty sure the cows are going to love there new parlor🥛🐄
Hi Tom, it will be a great relief for you. You will be able to stand back each day and admire it. We'll done. PS . I could hardly wait to see this video, so excited for you and your dad.
Well done Team - that was a busy 6 months - looks great
Congratulations on your new parlor tom
Quite simply Tom - CONGRATULATIONS
Love to you Joanna and the team xxxx
Congratulations to you all , enjoy operating your large investment , all the hard work by everyone has turned into an excellent system . The family and team should feel proud.
Absolutely fantastic Tom the farm has now come into the 21st Century an amazing job.. well done everyone!
Congratulations on the new milking parlour 🎉🍾🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄👍
Hi Tom, Just saw Joanna's photo on FB. Looks like she could be your next trainee dairy maid. Now wouldn't that be pretty special. I used to deliver milk and my wife sometimes came out to help me on my round. One time we got stuck in deep snow and had to be rescued.
That is Awesome Tom the parlour is looking Beautiful thanks to all the team for all their hard work 👍👍👍
Now, on all your gates, turn the top pin so it's pointed down. That prevents the cows from lifting the gate off if they get their heads into the bars...
Nooooo! We have to wait a WEEK to see the parlor working???? Darn! 😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations! This is so exciting; I know that you have been waiting for this for a long time, and I hope and pray that the new parlor will exceed your expectations.
Congrats 🎉 so glad to see you're in there.
Oh happy day! Now go shopping for baby Pemberton with Jo. You are the hardest working act on UA-cam. You deserve the best.
The balloons are the most thoughtful thing. Can’t beat that mate
The next remodel will be six robots. With the green new deal wanting to reduce methane, there must be a lagoon system to run engines making power. If you grow hemp you could use a silo for seed to make fuel and high protein animal feed. Sell the flowers and fibre.
Well done team Pemberton, I hope you're as excited about the new parlour coming online as I am!
Looking forward to the next video with the cows getting used to the new parlour!
Fantastic job Tom best of luck milking hope everything goes well for you
The change in your farm since you started you tube is amazing! You should be super proud of what you have achieved! Absolutely love watching your vids best UA-camr by far! Now have a rest!!
Congratulations!! How exciting for you, the fam and the farm.
One more step closer Tom. Its all looking fab . Baby bump growing well . Fab update Tom cheers pal
Sorry, Tom, the biggest project of your life is due to be born later this year. That said, I am a massive fan and young farmers like you are the hope of the future. Best wishes to the Ginger Warrior and Tilly the cow. Happy cows, happy farmer, happy family, and happy viewers.
