- Michael and I took a long Bourbon Hunting and Distillery Tour trip to Texas and the first stop was Ben Holladay, with roots going back to Wells Fargo Express and meat packing . Here is the condensed version of the over two hour tour and tasting that we had. The link to the long version is below.
**(This was the first video using our new Sony ZV-E1 camera. Love the image quality, but not the stabilization. Looking to get a stabilized wide lens next. The included 28-60mm lens is sharp but not wide enough after you turn on the internal digital stabilization, it just crops in too much.)

--This one we tried out a new camera. Love the quality of the image but not the built in stabilizer but that was set to its "standard" mode so we are still practicing with it.

I have been to several Distillery tours in the KC area, and Holladay/McCormick was by far the best experience. Highly recommend this tour. Super Informative, great employees who made the tour a fun learning experience. You will not regret going to Weston, Missouri to see this historic distillery.
Totally agree! In fact, I think we are going to plan a trip back to that area again this year!! We just love the distillery and the bourbon!

Fingers crossed! I think they said its a distillery only bottle! It's really good. If you are in the midwest ever, definitely check them out and then head down to J. Rieger in Kansas City, MO too! We still haven't posted that video yet!
I Did the Tour Memorial weekend… awesome and beautiful… I know it’s a Bourbon theme, but Were you able to try their Five Farms Irish cream or Hussong’s Anejo Tequila? Off the charts tasty! Rick house for the Win for me!
Yes we tried the Irish cream! It was very good and we were happy to know that they have it made for them. We've seen the bottles in liquor stores and never knew it was made for McCormick! We always learn something new when taking tours!
