Picked up a Holladay Rickhouse Proof last week, and was blown away. I got a lot of similar flavors as you all listed here.
Two of the best pours on my shelf are the Larceny C922 and B523, and while I don't think the Holladay reached those levels, it is far better than most Larceny Barrel Proofs I've had. The C922 and B523 are just special. I am going to have my wife blind the Holladay with the C922 and B523 for me soon. Without doing them blind, I would put the Holladay right behind them among the best barrel-proof wheaters I've had. Prefer all three of those to the Weller Full Proof certainly.
That being said, I'm not surprised to see the Holladay beat the A124. Great video!

Found my first bottles of Ben Holladay while visiting Indiana. I’m glad I purchased them because they do not disappoint. Really unique and impressive.

Bought a BH one barrel yesturday. A select bourbon. 124.5. Incredible!! It says rickhouse c in label. Way to represent Mo. My home state.

Honestly think Rickhouse should be up for Bourbon of the year. It’s that damn good. I’ve also got the Larceny B523 but I don’t think it’s nearly as good. The finish on the Holliday is crazy good. Cheers!

I would love to have seen the holladay vs larceny b523, clear best of the releases from 23 imo. Some preferred c923 but that was a minority
We get Larceny late were we are. We just picked up the C923. Excited to compare. 23 was a good year and from what it sounds like 24 might have a chance to surpass it. Cheers! 🥃
Doesn't matter who wins, I can buy the Larceny anywhere but have never seen the rickhouse for sale.
