I love seeing my hometown become a place people actually want to visit, just wish my grandmother whom owned a store there could be alive to see it flourish.
So excited for this!! Love this bourbon since it reminds me of home, but I can't get it where I live. Joined the Brewzle Patreon for this pick and I cannot wait!!
Maaan I liked whiskey before but watching your channel I’ve learned to love it. I’m still learning working my way up to 100 proofs cause they slap me in the chest 😂😂 but I’ll get there eventually
Weston is a great place. I've been there many times, the Irish bar in the cellars is amazing as well. There is a blues music festival in the summer. a very good time.
First, been waiting to pick up a Rickhouse proof cause it’s a bit pricey for me at this moment but maybe seeing the distiller with Brewz will change my mind 😅
Omaha! We've been working on planning a trip down for the past few months, but haven't had an open weekend yet. Now I need to make it happen. Regardless, everything they make is fantastic!
I'm watching all this guy's videos. But I don't drink bourbon. I don't really have it on my radar even. But I do have the same interest he has, just toward other things. There's some appeal seeing someone pursue something so well, even if it's not the thing I would pursue. What he's doing just looks fun.
I know you aren’t a huge fan of scotch but would you try and give Royal Brackla 21 a try? As a whiskey drinker I’m curious what you would think of a single malt scotch whisky finished in a sherry cask!
I just got my first eagle rare 10 year, the other day! Wife just messaged me she is working in WV picked me up my first bottle of Buffalo trace!!! (Yes I know eagle rare is Buffalo trace lol)
I live in the control state of Ohio. I opened my Ben Holiday bottle in bond last week. Maybe I'm being picky, I found it odd there was no cork just a screw top.
Hey @Brewzle Did I get a good steal on these allocation bottles? I got two bottles of Eagle Rare at $39.99 each, Stagg Jr 23B for $69.99, Weller 12 for $59.99 and an E.H. Taylor Single Barrel Bottled in Bond for $79.99. ❤❤❤ I think I got an absolute STEAL for those prices but I'm new to bourbons and their pricing nowadays. Can anyone tell me if I got a good price or overpaid and so forth
I hope you see this but I was at Starbucks and they had the Kentucky coffee mug just wondering if Jill ever got it if not I'll be more than happy to get it and send it which I know some people like collecting on which I know some people like collecting themselves
I just received my Still Austin pick and am a little surprised/concerned that there isn't a barrel pick sticker on it. Exact same packaging and label as the shelfer.
LMAO whoever cut the distillery tour video going from the 1849 founder to the sudden early 2000s garage metal music needs to be canned. That's like something I would have done when making a video in 2002.
@@Brewzle my own personally about the Patreon just being a paid advertisement for the UA-cam channel. Another commenter asked about it and I gave my honest opinion as a patron for almost a year before I cancelled my membership
The Holladay staff seem like a fun group who really love what they do, and it shows in the whiskey. The rickhouse proof soft red wheat is one of my fav bottles I got. If only it was EASIER TO GET lol
Being a Missourian I'm pretty excited that we have Ben Holladay as a killer local brand. They did the one thing most small brands fail to do - they waited until they had a good product to put on shelf. Coming out of the gate with a 6 year BIB is just insanity in the current bourbon market and normally you only see 6+ year BIB products from legacy distilleries. The 7 year BIB's are all over Missouri now and I would say they are very comparable, if not better, than Heaven Hill BIB. HH 7yr BIB is $50-55 and Holladay 7 yr BIB is $50-55. But you would be sorely mistaken to believe we only have Ben Holladay in Missouri. There is a smaller brand called Planter's that is absolutely killing it. They are relatively unknown and they have even OLDER whiskey in their single barrels. I have a 17 and a 18 year old single barrel pick from Planter's and they blow ECBP out of the water. These picks are literally on par with Eagle Rare 17 IMO. They were also $75 each. Barrel King is well known in the UA-cam circles because of ADHD Whiskey being hired as their master blender. They source all their whiskey but they are doing interesting things with their finishing. There might be a couple other small distilleries on the rise in Missouri but their stuff is all still young. Won't be long and Missouri will be considered a top 5 state for whiskey though.
Best Brewzle video I've seen to date....keep these types coming, as much as possible. Behind the scenes adds so much to enjoying the culture of bourbon!!
Scored a WFP store pick $99.99 an ER store pick for $49.99, 1792 Full Proof for $65 and two early times BiB for 29.99 ea. at my local honey hole in Chicago today! Thanks for getting me started on my bourbon journey almost a year ago!
I lived in KC for a while many years back. Visited Weston a couple of times and never knew about the distillery there. Wish I had know about it back then.
Love seeing tours! Great all around video!
More to come!
My wife and I have been here many times, and from now and again we open and sip on our Missouri bourbon from Holladay! Great vlog!
This is my favorite distillery. The red wheat is my favorite
I love seeing my hometown become a place people actually want to visit, just wish my grandmother whom owned a store there could be alive to see it flourish.
We’ve just recently started seeing this in Northeast Ohio. I love the soft red wheat. So good.
Me too!
Finally found it here in CT
TJ. This was Awesome to learn about Barrel tasting and hope someday to Do one but still learning to get a palate
What a great distillery, and the soft red wheat is my favorite. I will be making a tour in the future. Thanks TJ
You make great videos. This is one of the best of those greats that I have viewed. Seems like a Great Tour Guide and Great Staff too. Cheers!
I lost it "its been 25 years i dont remember"😂😂😂
Great video! Can’t wait to grab some of these picks.
So excited for this!! Love this bourbon since it reminds me of home, but I can't get it where I live. Joined the Brewzle Patreon for this pick and I cannot wait!!
The Soft Red Wheat Rickhouse Proof is amazing! I have two bottles of it!
The soft red wheat is my new favorite bottle, need to get a backup soon!
Love the Virtue Spirits hat TJ!
It’s not a Friday without Brewzle
Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing, glad to be a member.
Picked up a Rickhouse Proof SRW a few weeks ago, and it's every bit as good as bourbons that fetch twice the price. Just flat out killer stuff.
I recently discovered been holiday watching some of my bourbon channels on UA-cam absolutely love it the Rick house is my favorite
Brewzle is brutal.... I vote for Jillzle! 😅
That would be awesome Jill gets her name on them bottles.
She's awesome!
That's one spirit that you picked, Brewzle.
between this video and the still austin video, y’all have been putting out some great content putting smaller distilleries on display
BH RW is FANTASTIC.
Love the videos! I don’t even drink bourbon but all of these videos are super entertaining.
Great vid and I'm a big fan of Holliday...definitely need to get a hold of more of their soft wheat variants!!!
I'm glad you said "wheated funkiness" cause I describe Green River Wheated as FUNKY. I had no idea that was a thing. Thanks.
First, been waiting to pick up a Rickhouse proof cause it’s a bit pricey for me at this moment but maybe seeing the distiller with Brewz will change my mind 😅
Great video as always TJ and the team
I was just there last weekend. Left with a case of a little of everything. Would go back!
Keep it up Brewzle; great video as always. Highest proof hollady soft red wheat I had is 122.5 proof hy-vee version A+++
Omaha! We've been working on planning a trip down for the past few months, but haven't had an open weekend yet. Now I need to make it happen. Regardless, everything they make is fantastic!
Good to see Omaha in the group, one day ill be filling that role
Love the tours!
Tried it and love it. I have two of bottles on my shelf.
When do you anticipate this being dropped please? Ben Holladay Soft Red Wheat & Rickhouse Proof (standard releases) are awesome!
This was amazing! As an American in Taiwan I wonder how to access these barrel picks internationally
Can always tell how much you've had based on the volume of your voice 😂 Holladay makes some great stuff!
🤣 yes they do!
I'm watching all this guy's videos. But I don't drink bourbon. I don't really have it on my radar even. But I do have the same interest he has, just toward other things. That was so much fun!
Dream visit to a producer of the nectar of the gods. I want to go there too! Greetings from Norway
That looked fun. Love it.
I know you aren’t a huge fan of scotch but would you try and give Royal Brackla 21 a try? As a whiskey drinker I’m curious what you would think of a single malt scotch whisky finished in a sherry cask!
This is great…don’t get me wrong but we wanna see more bourbon hunting!
You will get plenty of that! 😁 Thank you
We love you Jill😅she knows her stuff
I just got my first eagle rare 10 year, the other day! Wife just messaged me she is working in WV picked me up my first bottle of Buffalo trace!!! (Yes I know eagle rare is Buffalo trace lol)
Awesome video! Keep up the good work! You need to replace that hat with an EverNorth hat 😉.
I wanna try the constentinos Ben Holladay. It's 121 proof at $79 . Little steep for me when trace is $30 and I'm just making cocktails with it
I've never seen Holladay for sale in California.
I live in the control state of Ohio. I opened my Ben Holiday bottle in bond last week. Maybe I'm being picky, I found it odd there was no cork just a screw top.
From what I have had from BH. I like the regular SRW better than the bourbon. On the RHP’s I like the bourbon better. Could just be bottles I have.
Missouri loves company
That’s what I am looking on a wheater, the oakiness. The more of that the better for me.
The narrator sounds like George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost (RIP)

I need to do a barrel pick with you, haha.
I found a source for this and picked up a bottle of Rick house proof for $60.❤😊 mine is 120.1 proof.
I hope you see this but I was at Starbucks and they had the Kentucky coffee mug just wondering if Jill ever got it if not I'll be more than happy to get it and send it which I know some people like collecting on which I know some people like collecting themselves
Proof Queen - Brewzle CTO (Chief Tasting Officer)
TJ is a hoot
How are we able to grab one of those barrel picks
Did anyone ask why they do twist caps instead of corks?
alright, ill have to go pick one up
You won't be disappointed
I just received my Still Austin pick and am a little surprised/concerned that there isn't a barrel pick sticker on it. Exact same packaging and label as the shelfer.
You may have mistaken it with the regular release we also had for sale. Send us your order number at support@brewzle.com.
So whens this going g to be Available??? I've been. Waiting a long time for this one!!!.....and I'm visiting Crittenden in 2 weeks!
Did I hear the tour guide correctly...there are over 20,000 distilleries in MO?...around the 11:15 mark on vid
I think that's nationally
Missouri REPRESENT
Wow, he never told us he was coming to Missouri I live in Missouri Skanless
The red wheat rickhouse proof is the truth (and I say that as a usual 100-105 proof guy).
LMAO whoever cut the distillery tour video going from the 1849 founder to the sudden early 2000s garage metal music needs to be canned. That's like something I would have done when making a video in 2002.
Why are we deleting negative comments?
where have you seen negative comments being deleted? There's still plenty to scroll through

we all love Jill 😂 she's becoming a master herself

This is such an exciting video. I love Holladay.
Ben Holladay is one of my favorite distilleries and I can’t wait for the Brewzle picks
Another great video y’all are killing it.
Lebanon, mo getting closer to me Brewzle . . .lol . . . Only an 1hour away from there. The barrel factory is neat
That soft red wheat is delicious.
the old bourbon from them, before their "troubles" was called B.J. Holladay Private Keep... was also good.. but their current lineup is amazing...
I will say one of these days I have a goal of tasting whiskey with you guys.
It is one of my daily drinkers!!! The Rickhouse if freaking delicious...
Those grounds look incredible. Looked like a really fun time.
The "proof queen" is the best!
Lol Jill wins
Enjoyed this barrel pick, must say Ms Jill has the best palate
I agree
O yeah
❤️💯❤️
Dont know if you've taken a look at Boone County Distillery. Not bad for a restart Distillery. Their selling thier own stuff now.
Scored a WFP store pick $99.99 an ER store pick for $49.99, 1792 Full Proof for $65 and two early times BiB for 29.99 ea. at my local honey hole in Chicago today! Thanks for getting me started on my bourbon journey almost a year ago!
You are loud but REALLY loud when you're drunk. I love these tastings!! Glad y'all had fun
Just bought my first bottle of Ben Holladay. Haven't tried it yet.
